I tried it for the first time. I was greeted by the two girls that were working. When I was ready she promptly took my order. I ordered the big kahuna. She said OMG you're gonna love it it's really popular. And I did. It was huge, flavorful and full of fresh fish. I added scallops to mine. I read some of the reviews beforehand. Some made me laugh with the degree of their complaints. I tried it anyways and I had a great experience. It may not always be like that. But it definitely was this time. I gave it five stars. I have been coming to this poke place since it first opened Im ready to write my opinion and suggestion. also I wanted to note I am starting to see a decline in quality and service. Had I written a review a few months ago it would have been 5 stars.. When I first came food seemed to be kept well in temperature and avocado was not browned and workers were friendly I did want seaweed salad but almost every time I came in they were still defrosting or out of it. Same thing happened today no seaweed salad . What bother me today was that the worker did not change gloves after collecting the money and coins from the customer before me before scooping my bowl, I understand she was the only person working but a simple changing of gloves would have been more sanitary especially around raw fish. Please do better.. I used to like eating here. Ambiance is quiet relaxing good place to sit and eat a quick lunch but don't be a afraid to ask them to change out their gloves before making your bowl. read more

I doordashed from them last night and just wanted to share my experience as a first time customer. I paid extra for baked salmon & did not received it. Nor did I receive one of my toppings (crispy rice noodles) & also received brown rice instead of sushi rice. I called and spoke to a girl working and she told me they were all out of those ingredients. As someone who used to work in the restaurant industry I understand this happens but why would you not contact the customer to see if they still want the order? Literally 3 items were missing one of which I paid extra for and i find brown rice disgusting so i coudnt even eat it and was a waste of $20. The girl I spoke with was polite but it was basically a sorry about that there's nothing we can do. Just some advice I would recommend contacting the customer when you are out of literally half of what they ordered. read more

This has been my favorite Poki place but unfortunately today we felt really cheated on the portion size. The worker was not warm or friendly just serious and straightforward. You get six toppings and I wanted to use two of those toppings for a double portion of seaweed salad. Was told that was an extra charge. Can I have masago? Extra charge. Last time I was allowed to have a double portion of the seaweed salad and they filled our bowls to the brim. This gal only filled our bowls 3/4 of the way full. Extremely disappointed. Maybe it depends on the worker you get or maybe they have changed certain policies. Either way we spent about $15 per bowl and we were still hungry afterwards. read more

They have good prices but if you order online be prepared for your food to not show up quite to the quality you might expect. I ordered a poki bowl with spam musubi and the musubi never even showed up. The poki itself is good. They usually are heavy handed with the sauce, so always select less sauce than you want. They used to add more food into the bowls but that's not a thing anymore. I ordered them for 5 days every week for a couple months and it was great. Suddenly one day the quality was just never the same. But at least their prices are lower. In my opinion it's worth getting their food just cause of the lower prices. But if you order online, prepare to be a little disappointed sometimes. Sometimes if I order extra protein they just won't put extra in, they've forgotten a few times. read more

I decided to give this spot another shot since it's been awhile and I thought maybe they would have improved. Unfortunately they got worse. They reduced their fish portions even more and upped the prices. You are now paying $15 for a bunch of rice and a couple bites of fish. Customer service skills are also lacking. There was no one in the store but they still had me wait awhile to order while they continued to make three Uber eats orders. read more

I was so excited to try this place, but I am sadly disappointed. I came at 7:00pm so my only guess is they were close to closing. The rice was absolute mush, cucumbers translucent and borderline bad, and avocado was brown and tasted awful (tasted like prepackaged guacamole spread) The fish and sauce were pretty good, but everything else not so much. For 20$ I expected overall better quality. I feel sad writing this review since it's a newly opened shop, but I wanted to give some pointers. read more
