The room that was giving to us for our reservation room 105.

Danny and the manager that lives there are very accusing of my mistakes instead of thinking of their mistakes because I have been coming here for four years and this is the first time that they have disrespected me and my family with a fully open room to our reservation room. so just be careful make sure everything is clean although I did deal with blood stains on there sheets prior to this on the same exact timing. I did try to be understanding, and I did help the manager, which is anemic to literally change the sheets for her because of her condition and when the situation happened with the next reservation, she tried to throw her health into my problem when I did so much for that lady not even being a worker. It's very sad that she tried to throw in my face if the room was clean, which it was, but the principal of the matter was the door was open for three hours as Danny said so. Who knows what could've been done to the room for the past three hours?

    The view from the patio

First time we've stayed there in the summer and even though they were booked up, we still couldn't hear anyone else. Clean and quiet room, friendly staff. Only negative is if you sit up on the patio you have to watch for bird droppings. Otherwise I have no complaints.

From the outside you'd never know how wonderful this little gem of a hotel really is. Do yourself a favor and book a room on the 3rd floor. The view from the room is absolutely extraordinary. You can see Morro Rock and the sunset each evening. It's just a short walk to many shops and restaurants and the staff here at the inn go above and beyond to make certain your stay is enjoyable. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, excellent shower pressure, mini fridge (that works well), small table and chairs so you can enjoy a meal while enjoying the view. Also, there is a lovely patio area on the second floor where you can sit outside and catch some rays while reading a book.

This was our first time staying here and we found this place through Airbnb. There is plenty of parking, they are two blocks from the pier and walking distance to restaurants and small mom and pop shops. The parking lot is well lit and we got a view of the water which was a plus! The room was very clean and spacious. Will definitely come back when visiting Morro Bay.

Kitchen. What they don't tell you is that you can't use it unless you bring everything including soap, utensils, and towels.

Go almost anywhere other than here. I wish I had read yelp reviews before booking this hotel. I'm not sure how other sites have better reviews. I gave 2 stars because the location of the hotel is convenient for walking and very close to attractions/restaurants. The beds were at least somewhat comfortable. It was affordable for our large family. But that's where the positives stop. -we stayed in the "2 bedroom suite". To clarify, this is a very small space for being two rooms and three beds. Also, there was only one bedroom with a door on it. The other one was open to the living room and was the only route to the bathroom. The living room consisted of a double bed, a small tv, and two small chairs...so no room for "hanging out". Outside the front door to the room there was a small table with a couple plastic chairs, which is I guess where you're supposed to eat meals etc. This facility is not well taken care of, and it shows. Multiple patched holes in walls that had not been painted over, faucet with plastic parts falling off, really old cabinets that desperately need attention. Very dusty blinds that were broken, and windows open right to the street on one side and to their dumping spot on the other side. Bathroom is tiny and has no ventilation, but if you open the bathroom window the building next door has direct view right into the room. There was a piece of food stuck to the wall in the kitchen. There were ants in the kitchen area upon arrival, and when I mentioned it upon checkout I was told that is normal, that the ants are just looking for water, and there's nothing they can do about it. What's clear is that this hotel doesn't care about good customer service, or giving a good experience.

We really love this place. The people are very friendly, the room is very spacious, it's next to everything including coffee shops, restaurants, and the water. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

I called the Beach Bungalow Inn & Suites directly and spoke with the manager, Gabriell J. She was a total professional. I was stressed and upset, but her calm and helpful demeanor completely turned things around. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of through the hotel itself. Lesson learned: always book directly! Not only is the customer service superior, but you get a better price, too. I will absolutely book directly with them for my next trip to Morrow Bay!

I was supposed to receive a text or email with check in instructions and also a door code for the room. I received a call on the day of check in regarding this. I told the person on the phone that I had not received either and she assured me that I would receive one before the 3 pm check in. I did not receive the text. When we arrived to the property at the 3 pm check in, we tried to check in at the office but there was no one there. We found the manager cleaning a room. She informed us that she was the one that had called me. So apparently she runs the office and also serves as housekeeping. We went back and forth trying to reset the door code, and during this time, she was also was stressing about cleaning the vacated rooms on time. At the end of everything, she ended up offering us physical keys after all. Physical keys would have prevented the whole 30 min delay! Also, my ID was never checked, and I never had to sign anything regarding incidentals or policies which is usually the norm when you check in to a hotel. My word was just taken for my identity. Now to the room itself. It was perfectly clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo and small sink. No storage space so be aware of that. There was a fridge, coffee machine and coffee, creamer and sugar provided. There was a TV and fireplace. It was a really cute space. This Inn is also super close to the Embarcadero, restaurants, beaches, etc.

While we love supporting local places by going out to eat, it is also a perfect place to make your own dinner, put the umbrella up on the patio table, and enjoy dinner on your deck. It is also great for morning coffee and watching the boats go out for the day. They stock coffee and tea in the kitchen, but there is also a little coffee shop next door. I love going over, grabbing a Mexican Mocha and a bagel, and sitting outside in the morning. A couple of things worth noting are that Units A and B share a deck with only a partial separation, which opens up the view of the bay for both units. There is one regular parking spot and one handicapped spot, but three rooms, so someone has to park on the street. However, parking is free and unlimited, so that wasn't an issue for us. Things are quiet a good amount of the time, but it is on the Embarcadero, so it can also be noisy from the restaurants nearby at times. It is further down from the busiest part of the Embarcadero, so things aren't crazy down here. Still, it is only a one-mile walk--or a three-minute drive--to the Rock, and the cute little movie theater is just half a mile away alongside countless shops off the Embarcadero. Everything is within easy walking distance. If you want to stay in, the couch is a futon, and my son says it isn't too uncomfortable to sleep on. We all fight over who sits in the armchair--it is a perfect reading chair. We highly recommend staying here. We stayed here for a week last summer and this summer.

From what I could tell, she and her husband are the primary people running the inn, and they were both wonderful hosts. Throughout my stay, they checked in to make sure everything was going well, which I really appreciated. When I walked into the room, the reviews were absolutely right. Everything was spotless--from the bedding and carpet to the bathroom. I was also pleasantly surprised by the shower's water pressure. At many hotels it's either too weak or inconsistent, but here it was just right. The bed was also very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it does exactly what it promises, especially for the price. It's clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near downtown and the pier. If you're looking for an affordable and well-maintained place to stay in the area, I would highly recommend this inn.
