This is easily the best model shop i've been to. It has a large selection of just about anything…read moreyou would need for modeling and is very well stocked. The prices here aren't bad at all either. The employees are very friendly too. In fact, the only reason why i rated 4 stars vs. 5 is because of the time in which you can shop here, being open for only 4hrs a day and closed Sunday-Monday. Other than that though, I absolutely loved this shop. I will most definitely come back in the near and far future for models and related products alike!

The set up is in the Sleep Train indoor plaza. Lots of merchants selling all sorts of train stuff (And some things not involving trains). Lots of old school model trains, electric trains, and of course a large area where they sold Thomas trains. The prices were even better than on Amazon, which was amazing. I saw a item that would have cost 35$, but is going on amazon for 59.99$ The little dude was just happy getting his 'Sir Handel' train so it was fun. Also at the Expo was several train workshops, many areas where train groups had full active train sets going around. For the kids there were 2 lego train areas, a Playmobil train area and a area with wooden trains that were extremely popular with the kids. They had several food vendors open, including a Fisher Scones spot as well as a barista making coffee. Kids under the age of 12 were free, price for a adult was a little steep at 9$ but it was worth it for us for several hours of enjoyment. Will go back when they come back in the Spring.

I know zero about trains but I was just jaw-dropped walking in here. There's a little kids table for your child to play at by the door while you browse the "boring" more expensive things haha The store owner is nice and super knowledgeable, he said hi to us and basically left us alone to browse without making it feel suffocating. After encountering the rude and clueless "staff" at the Tukwilla -Southcenter Hobby Town store, I was pleasantly surprised by customer service that was so thorough and knowledgeable at RCH. So then I had to come back the following then after that to talk to the manager, he didn't even want to look at the car which isn't cheap. I was willing to upgrade to a nicer, more expensive option but was still told no. DO NOT recommend this place. BAD customer service. Stuff happens and business work with customers who use their business but this place didn't even look at the brand new control truck. Which cost a pretty penny!
