Well, today I had the most enjoyable cab ride I've ever had and believe me. I've been in cabs over the years, I grew up outside of Portland, Oregon and I used to come down to Tillamook and stay in Manzanita Lincoln Oceanside. My cab driver just gonna be a short cab ride and I want to explain to him that as a came down here and talked about the things I remember the most and boy that's when it kicked off and I ended up taking a tour and hour that imagined Daniel was a cornucopia of knowledge wonderful guy down the road. If you are anywhere near Tillamook, Nehalem, Manzanita or any other coastal beach area in this part of Oregon, you MUST call Pacific Taxi. Daniel, the owner and driver is awesome. This was better than any Uber or cab ride I've experienced. I was renting a house about 20 miles from Pacific Taxi's home base in Tillamook, yet when I called and told Daniel I needed to be taken only about 2 miles from where I was, he did not hesitate. He was at my door within 25 minutes. He was friendly, and knowledgable of the area. We discussed where to eat, where to go sightseeing, etc. When I called later to be taken back to my place, he arrived with the same efficiency he'd dropped me off with. Knowing I was without a car and the weather was turning too bad to ride a bike, he even offered to deliver food of any kind to me, and gave me the names of the best pizza places, etc. This company is a blueprint for great service, great product and outstanding customer service. Hands-down one of the best taxi rides I have ever had. The owner of the company went above and beyond in accommodating our party of 8. Honestly, I'm kind of glad that we had to split up into two rides each way (since he uses a pickup truck as his taxi, we could only fit 4 at a time). It let us each have more time to ask our questions to him, and we got to hear stories from the other group and what they had talked about. And, straight up, this guy is awesome. From restaurants in Boise to feminist philosophy, there is not a subject that we didn't enjoy chatting with him about. Rarely do I consider a cab ride to be a highlight of my night, but damn, I think this one ranks. Next time I'm in Tillamook, I'll be looking for reasons to take a cab ride. read more

Daniel was awesome! I called him with one day's notice for a 2 hour trip to the airport. He responded quickly, quoted me a fair price and we arranged a pickup time. The next morning I had to move up the pickup time and again it was no problem and he arrived earlier and on time. Couldn't have asked for better service. The owner is one of the nicest guys I have met and he went above and beyond getting us to our De Garde event and picking us up. He has a lot of knowledge about the town and seems to be a stand up guy. We will definitely be using him for our services any time that we are in Tillamook. This was the longest, yet most enjoyable taxi ride. Thanks to the dancing deer that disabled our vehicle, we found ourselves in need of a ride from Tillamook to Portland late on a Sunday afternoon. The car was towed, the Deer laid to rest, all that was left the lay leg of our journey home. That is where Daniel comes to the rescue. He shuttles us 2 hours across the country side whilst entertaining us with his enthusiasm for life and a plan for his next business.
