DANGER‼ Not only did these people pull a bait and switch, but they left a TOOL IN THE TIRE! It caused the tire to explode and traumatized everyone. They don't return messages and will not work with you. I've gone here for years and never had an issue until now. In fact I always loved their service and prices and recommended many people to use them. I normally would never put up a one star review and would just leave it alone, but I just want people to be aware of the way this place is being run now. So my tire went flat after hitting a curb. I put on the spare and took it straight to Pacific like I've always done. Normally they check the tire and show me where it's messed up, not this time. They took the rim out of the trunk and rolled the tire right back into their shop as soon as I said I needed a tire. They said there was no used tires available (which never happens) and it would be $150 for a new one. They offered a deal for a better tire (even though they offer the same price everywhere else so there was no real "deal") but I decided to go the cheaper route. Turns out they didn't have the tire available that they offered me, so I had to wait for the tire to be delivered. They brought out my tire, threw it in the trunk, and I left. After thinking about it I decided to get the better tire and pay the difference. I drove back to tell them to not worry about having a tire sent over and that I wanted the better tire. So they raised the price of the better tire on me by $25 and the guy who quoted me earlier denied he ever offered me a lower price. I decided to take my tire elsewhere and drove to a spot in LA. While they were looking at the tire it came up in discussion what brand my tire was (which was Goodyear on all four of my tires) and the guy pointed out that the tire I brought in wasn't Goodyear, it was some random brand I never even heard of. So they took off my name brand tire and replaced it with some off brand other tire! The guy at the shop said the tire was probably fine and just needed to be fit back onto the rim, so they may have took it off to resale it and replaced it with the tire that was on there. And as of now, I couldn't think of any other reason they would swap my tire for a different one. I will never go back here. The whole crew is different than all the other times I came so maybe they did a change in management or who knows what, but they'll get their karma for sure. read more

Repaired a puncture where the nail was in the shoulder of my back left tire in less than 10 minutes where most places would tell you they can't do it and would charge you for an entirely new tire without even trying to see if anything can be done. If you have a flat tire, do not come to this establishment close to closing. They will not help you and tell you to come back in the morning. I admit...I came to the shop 6 minutes before closing because my car had a flat tire. I walked up to the employee and asked if they could change my tire. The employee responded by saying that the shop was closed. I asked him what time they closed and he said they close at 6PM. I told him it wasn't 6PM yet and my tire is completely flat. He responded by saying that they do not have any air to fill my tire. I asked him again what time they closed and he repeated 6PM. I reiterated that it was not 6PM yet. I called Valvoline, and they recommended Pacific Tire on Santa Fe. I called to make sure they could patch a tire, and they quoted me for $10. Chuy fixed it and was prompt and professional. Went here for the first time and absolutely not returning back here. First, they inflated my tires WAY above the recommended psi, forcing my car to carry nearly 35psi total MORE than necessary. That's about the weight of another whole ass tire! Next, they did the tire rotations wrong for my type of car. Both of these things are basic in a cars maintenance so if not done correctly, they can mess with the quality and life of the tires, and worse cases, mess with the parts that hold the tires. They should be checking the specs of their customers tires and inflating them to the correct levels. This is the most basic requirement that should be expected of any tire place. As for the tire rotation, all they did was bring the back tires to the front and move the front ones to the back. THERE ARE VERY FEW CARS FOR WHICH THIS IS AN ACCEPTABLE TIRE ROTATION. So disappointed in the service here. I shouldn't even have handed them the $15 they charged for all this faulty service. I could have done a tire rotation and added the right air level myself, but I specifically went to a tire shop because I didn't want the labor of doing all this. After all, that's what a tire shop is for. I left the shop this day having to go home and correct all these mistakes myself to give my car the proper maintenance it needs and prevent any long run damage from the carelessness and inexperience of this shop. I do a lot of driving all over SoCal from the high desert, Palmdale, Ventura, the valley, the IE and down to the oc so of course with all that driving you'll come across flats and leaks or even just regular ol tread wear and tear. Jesus is usually the one I go to had an issue with my rim being bent and leaking no problem the team referred me to a welder (AAH WELDING AND REPAIR., Compton, CA) who were also quick and easy to deal with. Nope, nope, nope... Drove in on a spare tire and asked for a used tire. The guy quoted me $35 for a used tire. I agreed to purchase. Then owner came out, discreetly said something to the guy who just quoted me before he proceeded to install said tire. After installation was complete, the owner, who was tending the register charged me $90. When I told him I was quoted $35, he said they installed a new tire and they didn't have a used one (all of a sudden). I would've asked him to remove it and put the spare back on, but it's kind of like the catch 22 of sending your erred food back--giving someone sleezy another opportunity for more funny business and this is the car I take my kids to school in every day. I feel this establishment exploits the vulnerable customer in need of tires and would never patronize any business who possesses zero integrity in handling the thing that is supposed to take us everywhere safely. Furthermore, the interior tread was completely sheared 3-months later. I'm pretty sure that was a used tire anyway. read more

If you live near this spot consider it the ER for fixing flat tires with nails or stuck debris or replacing tires that are rippled to shreds due to potholes and the like on the mean and rugged streets of LB. if you're super tight on a budget they can save you from your replacement donut for a cheap and used tire for under 60 bucks. Repairs for nails and what not can go below 15 bucks. They're super quick in their service. Been going here for the past 20 or so years so has my family. When I went out to my car this morning, I had a flat tire!!! $h!t!!!! I called AAA to see if maybe it just needed some air but when he put air in, there was a huge hole so I needed new tires. =( I didn't have a spare (dumb me!) so the AAA guy said he could tow me to a tire place he knew of place that has cheap and great tires. So I said , "Alrite. tow me there." The ride there I'm thinking, damn this is going to be expensive... When I got there, the guys working at Pacific Tire was really nice. He asked me what I needed and I told him about my flat tire and that I needed to get a spare tire and rim (so i don't have be towed again!!). He asked me if i wanted it new or used. I asked if the used were a good quality and he said it's perfect so I ended up getting everything used. The total price --$60!!!! It was finished in about 15 min. They looked like a pit crew. =) They made sure the used tires were still in great condition (the used tires actually look brand new) by putting it in water and some other stuff that they did (that i'm not quite sure what they were doing). Overall, it was good quality, fast service, affordable, I would DEFINITELY go back when I need more tires!! ETA: I went about 2 months after I got the rim and 2 tires tires because i wanted 2 more tires since someone told me the treading was low . So I went and asked them to check it and see if I needed new tires. They checked it and said I need new tires for all 4 wheels! I told them I got tires from the 2 months ago and they well what do you want to do?' I said it's ok. I'll wait. It was a different guy from last time. I got a nail in my tire and my co-worker suggested this place to me since it was close. Its a small lot but they were pretty busy. People were pulling in and out rather quickly. When I got there, I just mentioned to the guy I had a nail in my front right tire. They were jacking up my car after I barely turned off my engine. The nail ended up not causing any damage because it was a short one but the worker still tested it in the water, made sure there was no chance of it causing issues and also checked the air pressure on all my other tires. They were really quick and worked like a pit crew. I'd come here again cause I can make it in and out during my lunch breaks. read more
