One of which, only tiling half of the shower, bit us recently when we had the windows replaced on the house. (Yes additionally there is a window right in the shower). After the window replacement (which included fixing a bunch of dryrot as a result of the improper tiling in the shower) we needed to get someone to perform the difficult task of tiling the rest of the shower, including wrapping the freshly installed window and while matching the existing tile. Fern not only matched the color but also the pattern, carrying forward all the oddities from the original install to make the addition seemless. The work was fast, the results are better than we had hoped and the price was great. The only downside I could note was that, due to the complexity of the job, we had to approve a Time and Materials quote but with a bit of extra communication with the estimator we were able to arrive at a reasonable expectation of what end cost would likely be. After all of that however the final cost came in under our calculated expectation which was a great surprise! I would happily use these folks again and would like to thank them for their fast, inexpensive and quality work.

The front door was especially tricky because it was installed too low by someone else. He did some grinding on the high spots and used leveling compound on other areas and even managed to make things work around the door. The hardwood floors he installed are gorgeous and you would never know what a disaster we had started with. He is on the job himself much of the time supervising his employee and they both have positive attitudes and really care about craftsmanship. He charges a fair price and at the end he found that the square footage was a little less than either of us had measured so the bill was a little less. This level of honesty is really appreciated.
