Absolute horrid drivers. One of these drivers ran me out of my lane, had his brights on me constantly when there was nothing to have the brights on for, and cut me off almost causing an accident when i went to the side to let them through (thinking the brights meant they wanted to get ahead). Scott is the man! Can't say enough great things about my experience w/ Scott @ Daniel Tile. He is a vast human database for tile..countertops, etc. What makes him such a powerhouse is not just his deep knowledge about tile, but also his designer skills to marry the various materials beautifully! When I first stepped into his showroom, I only had a vague idea of what I wanted. Honestly, I was dreading tile shopping. All the choices seemed overwhelming. Wrote down everything the salesperson promised: Time, the price is for the complete installation, etc. I sent this to them to confirm, and they never did. When I ask they agree to what the salesperson had promised before starting any work, instead of going throught he plan, I was just ghosted. Note that all they sent me on email was an Estimate. No agreed price. I would be flexible, but not even an attempt at discussing this. The next day, I had to hire someone else to do the job correctly. I was cleaning effervescence in my shower marble floor, which Daniel Tile said had eaten into the marble and was not repairable. I renovated my bathroom and Daniel Tile did all the tile installation which included the shower, complete floor and one wall. The quality of the work was very high and they were responsive to my questions and requests. I wanted the floor tiles to be laid out in one way but the installer explained why it would look better a different way and he was right and the end result looked really good. I felt that they paid attention to detail which is important to me. Daniel Tile stands behind their work. We didn't use that bathroom for a few months after this and when I did there was a leak. I first tested the drain and that didn't leak so I thought it may be the tiles. So I called Daniel Tile and the project manager Alex showed up within an hour to inspect the bathroom. It wasn't an easy job because there had been water damage in that room and part of the subfloor and also part of the beams under the subfloor (floor joists) needed to be replaced. I was looking around for someone to install my kitchen backsplash. I was on a time crunch and many many places were either ridiculously priced or had a waiting period of 2+ months! When I called Daniel, not only was he able to accommodate my timeline, he went out of his way to meet me outside of my work hours (I don't get out of the office until 6 or 6:30)! He came out to the house the next evening and gave me a very fair quote for the install and starting work 2 days later. His crew was professional and worked diligently. It took one day to lay the tile and couple hours the next day to grout it. Daniel came out to personally check the work at the end of the second day (again he accommodated my work schedule)! Because I had glass tile in the mosaic that I had installed, some pieces had cracked. Also, a portion of the backsplash was very wavy (not flush). Daniel took notice right away and immediately schedule his crew to repair it. I have been working with many different people while renovating my house and mistakes will happen. However, it is important to me how the company handles their mistakes and Daniel couldn't have been better about it. A very professional , and down to earth team. The team is skilled and the owner stays involved from beginning to end. We were under a time crunch and they exceeded the deadline. We had them replace the back splash in the kitchen, a small bathroom floor, and a larger bathroom floor and jacuzzi bath/shower combo. We met 5 or 6 employees and everyone was very courteous and considerate. They have a demo team that was meticulous in protecting or removing our cabinets and toilets in the bathrooms and protected the existing granite and cabinets in the kitchen. The install team are true perfectionist. We did not have 1 tile that was chipped and every grout line was straight and even. We just rehired them to take out our kitchen hardwood floor and replace it with travertine. This is probably the 10 or 11th tile team I have hired, and they are clearly the best. After 3 years+ doing a kitchen remodel on our own, we found Daniel Tile Inc here on Yelp and had the job done in less than a week later. I emailed and got a response within 24hrs. I saw their trucks in our neighborhood and that locked in our decision to hire. They came by on a Monday to provide an estimate for kitchen and laundry backsplash and repair job for shower floor. They provided the quote next day and were available to start Thursday the same week. We had them start that Friday, and to our surprise the crew pushed through working Saturday with materials/leftover pickup on a Sunday! Correspondence was efficient via text and we coordinated a run to home depot where we picked up more needed grout. They had the subway tile we needed on hand - so perhaps this is why it went so fast! He didn't show up! I was scheduled to have 'Daniel the Tile' guy come by, we confirmed the day, time (11:00am) and location beforehand, yet he didn't show. I texted him at 11:06am asking if he was on his way, he replied 'yes', I was hopeful. When I texted again that it was 11:30am (still waiting) and if he would be at my house by 11:45am (45 minutes past our scheduled time) he again replied 'yes'. But he texted me at 11:53am asking for my address and contact information (information I gave the week prior to confirm my appointment). We couldn't wait any longer and had to leave for work. Daniel was there when needed! His crew came to my rescue. Alex came out and looked at my kitchen's glass backsplash that was installed incorrectly due to poor workmanship. He immediately spotted the damage. Juan Carlos and Marcus came and had to demolish the recently installed tile and did a great job in replacing the sheetrock. You won't be disappointed with Daniel and his team. I hired Daniel Tile to install porcelain tile flooring in the entire downstaris of my house. We also had him install backsplash tile in my kitchen and re-finish my fireplace with stacked-stone. Thier work quality was top-notch. Very accomodating to our requests, both with our scheduling and with small additions/changes to our project. This guy won't leave until you are completely satisfied; thier customer service is unbelievable. Daniel has a team of talented workers that have specific skills. We had a project lead that was my go-to person for day-to-day tasks during the entire project. He was kind, knowledgable and accomodating. If we had a question or wanted to do something a little different than what we originally planned, he always had answers with good advice and suggestions. Once we agreed on a change, he would have the workers get on it. As with any project, issues come up. We had a supplier deliver the wrong grout, for example. Daniel had one of his guys drive the wrong grout back to the supplier, exchange it and bring the correct grout back on the spot! No waiting. Once, I stupidly stepped on a tile that wasn't completely set and pushed several tiles out of place. It was a mess with wet "thinset" sqeezed out from under the tiles. As I embarassingly apologized profusely, the project lead simply smiled and told me to not worry about it, "these things happen" he said. They immedatley corrected it. With past projects with other contractors, I am used to them ghosting on me near the end of, or right after, the project is completed. Not Daniel. He was asking if I was satisfied and if I needed any other changes/touch-ups even as I handed him final payment. After I handed him the check, he stayed around for another 15 minutes talking shop with me (answering more questions) and repeating to me that if I see anything that I don't like to call him and he would send someone out to change/fix it. read more

Daniel and his team are complete professionals, i had a shower pan leak which the plumbing company managed to screw up big time and i had to replace the shower pan. Pretty much every tile company i spoke to suggested me to redo the complete bathroom including the shower glass doors. Daniel and his team fixed the leak, replaced the shower pan, the first layer of tiles from the bottom and also reused the same glass door and all of it looked as if it was all brand new. Scheduled for a quote. 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I found a yelp message asking to reschedule. Not sure when they messaged, but how about a call? Rescheduled for the next day. The estimator was there early. Not sure how early, but long enough that he was asleep in the truck when i arrived. I just found this funny. poor guy seemed over-worked (not stating a fact, just my interpretation of words and actions.) Very nice estimator. Efficient, fast, professional (except the sleep thing). A Verbal price was given and a promise for an emailed quote. in a few days, or right after July 4 holiday. It's now July 10. I never got the quote so I won't be working with them. Honestly, the quote was slightly higher than another I had, so wouldn't have gone with Sharon Stone anyway. I loathe to give mediocre or low reviews, but reliability is king in contracting and they failed 2.5 for 3 (0.5: I woke the guy up eventually.) read more

We selected Daniel Tile Inc. to tile our hall bathroom floor and tub enclosure. Wow are we happy with the results! Daniel's team was professional, minimized the debris generated in our home, and were just nice guys. We had designed a custom tile accent for the back of the tub. Daniel recommended using a herringbone pattern in the field on all walls and around our accent. This was a great recommendation and really makes the overall effect look fancy. I wish I had the foresight to have hired Daniel Tile a little over a year ago when I instead decided to refinish my bathtub (spoiler alert: please don't waste your money on this service - the refinishing peeled a year later and their warranty repair peeled too). Just wanting the bathtub out, I was referred to Daniel Tile by Bullnose Tile. Daniel answered his phone (seems rare these days), came out a couple days later and provided an estimate for building a walk in shower that was in the middle of others I had received. I won't get into the reasons of why I selected them - but what I will says is how very thankful that I did. David and Sergio were assigned to my project - they put so much effort into my job - you'd have thought they were building a shower for Oprah, not little ole me! Their attention to detail blew me away every single day. Even as the project dragged on and I knew they must be sick of laying and cutting another one of my tile, they never stopped making sure every single thing was perfect (says the girl who is hard to please). Their craftsmanship still takes my breath away every time I look at my shower. So happy it's mine.
