This is the first time that I've ever hired a professional moving company to do our moving, so I did a lot of research, messaged many different movers. My first choice was unable to change my moving date due to being booked up so I decided to choose Pack It Up movers based on their reviews and reasonable pricing. Prior to their arrival we pretty much had everything packed up & dismantled (ie bed frames & other furniture). We moved our own open boxes & fragile items to play it safe! Pack it up movers gave me a 2 hour window from 9 AM to 11 AM for arrival time. They arrived at 9:45am, we did a quick walk-through of the house and the guys got to work quickly. Pacos and Todd's team were very helpful, very nice, and very efficient! They took very good care of all of our furniture and listened to our concerns/worries and made sure that everything was very well padded, wrapped, and protected! They packed up the truck with our 3 bedroom house (& then some) in about 3 hours!! Side Note: I wish I had pictures to share but Paco is a Tetris Master; I was super impressed how well he packed the truck!! They took a quick half an hour lunch & when they arrived at our new home, again we took a quick tour and the guys quickly got to work unloading the truck! We helped guide them where we wanted things put. Paco gently placed our washer & dryer in the laundry room & hooked it all up for us! They even offered to help us assemble our bed frames or anything else but I said I got it! The total move took about 6 hours and even after we completed the transaction they asked if we needed any other assistance! My husband had bought some furniture from out neighbors around the corners from us. But it was oak and quite heavy for us to move ourself. So I called around and no one was reasonable price as this company. We were on the schedule and it was only a couple weeks. Friendly, gentlemen, good moods, funny, caring, and all-around great movers. Showed up on time to move our apartment, took a quick break, moved our stuff out of storage, took a lunchbreak, and moved us into our new home. Before we knew it, all our belongings we on the truck, then off the truck. We were unable to find a sitter for our 5-year-old, so she was there during the move. I called Pack It Up Movers a month before our move. They gave us a quote that was very reasonable. The day before our move I got a text reminder about their start window, which was 9-11. Paco, Miguel, Jose, and Alex showed called at 9, and were at our house at 9:20. They worked crazy fast and carefully. They moved our 3bed/2bath in 4 hours total! They did a final walk-through to ask us if we wanted anything else moved before they left. They were really careful with our things and very nice! Terrible customer service. Could not even make an appointment. Convenient text message service except they never reply to text messages SMH. Booked them for a job and they didn't show up. Called the phone number, no answer. Finally got through to them and no remorse. 10 days later the manager (Jasber) is responding on Yelp. I will there fore respond also. If Jasber is going to press the issue. I will also. Your staff DID NOT ask for a deposit. They only asked for a deposit the day they were supposed to arrive. I have no problem paying, it's expected. I texted multiple times. I have time stamps on the text messages. Jasber is a broken record and keep saying the same thing but does not know what he is talking about. Obvious poor business owner who doesn't not understand that his employees are losing him business. Oh well, there were much better movers in the area that i was happy to use. read more

Pack it Up Movers did an exemplary job. They wrapped everything up nicely so nothing was broken. They were careful with all of our boxes furniture etc. It took two large trucks to move everything of ours. We have too much stuff. They were friendly, courteous, well mannered and asked where we wanted everything placed. They went above and beyond by helping take apart and put together one of our very large bird cages. They even went back to our old place to get parts that were left there accidentally. Then came back to finish the bird cage. The day began about 8:30 and they were here until evening time. Communication was horrible. On 5/28 I scheduled a move for 6/10 and paid a deposit. On 6/9 I did not get a call confirming the move, so first thing on 6/10 I called and was told they had no moves scheduled for that day. Fortunately they were able to give the job to another company. We had packed and prepared and even had our dog at the kennel. This was horrible customer service. If the other moving service had not stepped in and done our move we would have been in big trouble. I'm at an age where I no longer feel good about asking friends and family to help me move. This whole process was easy, thanks to Pack It Up Movers. While I did nearly all of my boxing, the morning of the move, they called to see if I needed any additional packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap, etc.) and I was able to tell them I didn't finish packing the books on a bookcase. They handled it with a smile. They offered to open up boxes that had new mattresses in them, asked if I liked how things were placed and willing to move them if I decided on a different spot in the room. They broke my 65" Tv. They didn't crate it; they just threw a blanket over it. My item was mishandled and they did not inform me that they were not crating the TV. They offered me $250, but that means I would still have to come out of pocket to replace my tv. I will not accept the $250 on principle. I would rather tell everyone I know to BEWARE! How long have you been in the moving business?! You wrapped up a large tv in a blanket, threw it on the back of a truck, and now you are denying that you damaged it (although when we spoke on the phone they acknowledged that they broke my TV).
