Because when I gave him my package and answered all his questions. He told me he couldn't send it through unless I called a number to have it verified or something. But the person I talked to on the phone couldn't help me because they needed a tracking number. So I told him to go ahead and send everything through because that's what they told me. Once everything went through, they were going to charge me $800-$1000 just to ship out a small package!!!! Which is absolutely absurd!!! Now, I've used FedEx to ship packages to Argentina before, but I was at most charged no more than $80-$100, so where in the Heavens did that big of a charge come from!? I'm trying not to be too mad at him because chances are, he was probably new, and may have typed in some wrong information somewhere that boosted the rate that high. But I feel like I drove 30 minutes for nothing and waste gas on this. But I will never be returning to this building ever again.

I used to think that FedEx was one of the best run businesses in the United States. I regret to…read morereport that they are insistent on putting their sales out of business because of stupid policies, horrible hiring practices and customer service agents that can't speak English. I'm sure that Mr Smith is rolling over in his grave seeing all the changes better being made after he passed away. At one point in time, FedEx was way ahead of the rest of the delivery companies by having an app that would actually track the delivery truck a package was on. But, I guess that didn't work out too good because it got discontinued. I've had nothing but problems from FedEx over the past year. Missed deliveries, late deliveries (some as much as three or four days late), with very flimsy excuses. It seems to me that they're nice tight delivery system that put them so far ahead of everyone else, has cracked and nobody knows how to put it back together again. I would not recommend FedEx for any package delivery if there's another company available. Even the USPS seems to be doing a better job these days than FedEx.

(The online pickup portal and confirmation email said pickup would be local and never mentioned it being sent somewhere else.) I talked to multiple employees over several days to correct this issue as I needed the flyers before going out of town for an expo. They were all very communicative and so kind and helpful! Corporate could not get the flyers sent to the local store in time so they shipped it to the location of the expo which was in a different state all together. Perfect example of stuff happens and how we handle it makes the difference. There is usually only one person working, so be patient when you are in there- the guy who is usually in there is quick and efficient, so you aren't going to wait long.
