Man... I wanted to support this place. Went in this morning to mail my already poster tube. Tape and labeled. He wanted to charge me $21. Just flat out that was the fee.. took my tube down the road and paid $6.75 at the Cerritos post office. WHAT IS THE LOGIC behind that big of a price difference? I would have paid $12.... but $21!? You're out. Good luck if you mail anything here.

The single best shipping store in LA. Unreal kindness from staff rarely seen in today's small businesses. Highly recommend

B E W A R E!!! I am filing a formal complaint regarding a…read moreserious incident that occurred at The UPS Store located at 13337 South Street, Cerritos, CA 90703 on May 26, 2026, at approximately 2:40 PM. I visited this location to return a package to a company using a prepaid return shipping label. Prior to arriving, I emailed my return label to the UPS Store for printing, as instructed. Upon arrival, I presented my package to the store owner, Brij Patel, who printed a label, affixed it to my package, sealed the package, scanned it, and provided me with a receipt. At no point during this transaction was I asked to verify my name, the recipient information, the tracking number, or any identifying information that would confirm the label being placed on my package actually belonged to me. After the shipment was processed, I discovered that the label placed on my package was not the label I had emailed to the store. Somehow, an entirely different shipping label was attached to my package and my item was sent elsewhere. The item contained within the package was valued at approximately $1,800, and due to the store's actions, it is now missing. Since discovering this issue, I have spent countless hours attempting to obtain answers from both UPS Customer Service and the store owner. Unfortunately, I have received conflicting information, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability. Mr. Patel's primary defense has been that he allegedly asked me whether the package was "Next Day Air" and that I verbally confirmed it. This explanation is completely inadequate and does not address the actual problem. Simply asking a customer whether a package is Next Day Air does not verify ownership of a shipping label. Any customer could potentially be shipping a package via Next Day Air. A competent verification process would have included confirming: My name The recipient information The tracking number The shipping destination That the printed label matched the label I submitted None of these steps were taken. The fact remains that the wrong label was placed on my package. Even more concerning is the owner's admission that he cannot determine where the incorrect label originated. I was verbally informed that he does not know whose label was placed on my package, cannot identify where it came from, and cannot retrieve a copy of it. This raises serious concerns regarding the store's handling of customer packages and shipping labels. If a package can be sent to an unknown recipient with no record of where the substituted label originated, then there appears to be a significant breakdown in operational procedures. Because my package was visibly open during processing, the contents were apparent. Given the circumstances and the inability of the store to explain how another label was applied to my shipment, I am left with serious concerns regarding the security and handling of customer property. I also possess video footage from the store that confirms the package was processed by the owner. To date: My $1,800 item remains missing. The store has not accepted responsibility. UPS Customer Service has not provided a meaningful resolution. No one has explained how the incorrect label ended up on my package. No one has identified where my package was actually sent. No reimbursement, recovery effort, or accountability has been offered. As a customer, I entrusted this business with my property and expected basic shipping procedures to be followed. Instead, my package was effectively sent into the hands of an unknown party, and I have been left to deal with the consequences. I am requesting a full investigation into this incident, including a review of surveillance footage, label printing records, transaction logs, and all documentation associated with packages processed during the relevant time period. Consumers should be aware of this experience before trusting this location with valuable shipments. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location for shipping valuable items. A simple verification process could have prevented the loss of my $1,800 package, yet no one has accepted responsibility or provided a solution.
