Been coming here for about eight months or so. It was not easy to find a barber shop that cuts hair right, but was relieved to finally come across Paco's! Though my usual barber is Luce, I've had two others to cut my hair & never walked away disappointed. The shop is spacious, has three flat screens to watch a movie or sporting event, a pool table, vending machines, & an arcade! I don't know what's up with the barbers today. Seems like they're hell bent on giving out fade haircuts. I have nothing against the fade. I wore one for awhile. But now I wish to grow my hair out. But no matter how I try I'm given some sort of fade. I have explained what I want. I've shown pictures of me with longer hair. But no I'm given a fade. It's been different barbers. I've been coming to Paco's shop for years now, and as a single mom bringing my two boys for haircuts at a barbershop felt a bit intimidating at first but Paco has always made my boys and me feel very welcome. He works magic on my boys hair and I've never had one complaint about their haircuts. Yadira is great, too. They both know their craft very well. If you're looking for a great haircut - i recommend them both, you can't go wrong. You can show them both a picture and they get the cut even better. Now the shop: The shop is always very clean. They have tvs playing music and/or music videos which is nice since i get tired of scrolling through my phone pretty quickly. The environment is aways friendly and everyone keeps their distance. The entire time we were waiting, it was profanity after profanity. The heavier set man and younger guy at the end just could not stop cursing. Every other word was an expletive. Paco knows his craft well. We came in today as a walk in and surprisingly the wait was not that long. When my son was called to a chair Paco asked what style we wanted, my son showed him a picture. What I loved was the fact he confirmed with us on the shortness of the fade and exactly how we wanted it even though we provided a picture, that way there would be no misunderstanding. Once he started cutting he took his time. There was no rush into this. Most places we've been to the person cutting my son's hair tell me yes I know what you want and they end up butchering his hair and then my son is miserable. Not here! Paco took his time and made sure it was exactly how we wanted it. The smile on my son's face afterwards said it all!!! Not to mention the hair products they have available there. They actually use the products they sell. Which means something. We will definitely be back here. If you're looking for a local spot that makes you feel comfortable as if you were at home. Went to get my two kids haircut but one of the woman barbers decided to shave my son's head after I asked her for a trim on top. He has been growing his hair out for over a year. She gave him a bad line up that I didn't ask for and a horrible fade. They still charged me even when they made a mistake. I would not recommend coming to this place. When I walk in all the barbers say they aren't taking people because it was an hour to close so there was a young guy or a lady only the owner said he personally couldn't take anymore people cause he had to go home so out of the 6 or so barber's only 2 people wanted to cut hair. However, I would understand if they informed me that Ricky was only for appointments only or he could've said NO to fixing my son's hair. Both Ricky and Paco wasn't very helpful at all.
