I just moved here. My best friend recommend me here and wanted to get a haircut, looked online, made an appointment, and went for a haircut. Everything was good, I was greeted instantly. The person cutting hair seemed nice too. But I didn't like my haircut. I have attached the image I showed for inspiration. I am not a barber, but when you do fades, having a little slope is good, with smooth transition, not making head like a square. I wouldn't make the fade too high. You need to add some weight on the sides. Second, the images in the reviews have a crisp hairline in the forehead. If you charge extra, I could have paid. Now I am trying to style my hair, it seems so bad. Asking customers at the end if you like the hair, do you wanna make changes? These things are very important to gain trust. I couldn't tell about my hair because I was never turned to the mirror and got busy with the ATM thing as I didn't know you only accepted cash, not even online. I wouldn't have written review now if I was only asked that question. I want the business to grow. Just some suggestions. read more

Went in for a haircut and beard trim, I had a very long beard and shaggy hair. I showed them exactly what I wanted and they said I got you. They beyond delivered and it was such a relaxing experience. They make you feel like family and it's such a great place with friendly barbers and customers. Yesterday when shopping in the complex, a white man appearing to be around the age 50 proceeded to harass and antagonize me (age 18) outside of this shop after he had parked illegally, not in a spot, and made it difficult for drivers to go around him. Two men who worked in the shop had initially came out to greet him however when I was getting in my car the two workers allowed him to hurl homophobic insults, get in arms reach of me, and make nasty comments calling me a "b*tch" for simply pointing at the open spot next to me signaling he should be parked in the middle of the road. Very disappointing to see adult men who consistently market a business to youth, and probably have sons themselves encouraging and egging on this type of behavior, and doing it outside their business. It being 3 grown man for a young man that's 5'4 is one thing but 2 men who should be on the clock, and trying to present a inclusive and safe space, rather than encouraging immature behaviors is ridiculous. Always been curious if the quality of service was worth trying out but after seeing how they treat people in real situations and how they escalated a problem initiated by their friend... disrespected isn't even a big enough word. read more

Do not get your hair cut by kevin that guy is to high to even cut clients hair correctly. He will ruin your month with how bad he cuts hair and honestly he should be let go he makes this location look bad and I've been going here for over a decade. For me to have to say this place has barber that sucks this bad says a lot but other clients need to be made aware of him stay away from Kevin. He lacks the skills to be a real barber and is incompetent uter garbage. read more

Got a dope fade haircut here, but waited 45 minutes past my haircut appointment time due to the barber falling behind and not communicating to me the wait-time. He apologized during the haircut and he and the manager acknowledged communication is something he needs to work on. Although this took away most of my Saturday afternoon, the haircut was great and I appreciated their attitude about their lack of communication. read more

The barber quickly passed over the top leaving quite a few hairs protruding that I didn't notice until I got home. Also was left alone in the chair for almost as long as the haircut lasted. I went in a few weeks ago because I needed a cut. There were some barbers in front of the shop and told me that I should go to Kevin meaning that he's really good. So I go to Kevin and I told him what I wanted. I asked for a 5 on top with a lineup and then a 0 mid fade. As he's cutting my hair I noticed that he started going really high on my head when he was fading and I was never able to really see the mirror. I started to realize that there were customers coming after me and still finished before me which was worrying me because I didn't know if he was trying to fix what he messed up. At the end he finally gave me the mirror to look at cut and asked if I liked it. I noticed that my mid fade was in fact not a mid fade. He pretty much made my whole side of the head a 0 and it didn't even look close to a mid fade. I'm not even the type of person to complain about a cut like that at all but it was so bad and I was very upset because it did not look good at all. I thought it might have been just me that probably thought it looked bad so I called my friends and family in which they thought it looked so bad and asked where the fade was because it looked like a 0 everywhere. It had to be bad because my own fiancée laughed at me and she never makes fun of me for my appearance. I forgive Kevin and I understand that people make mistakes but I don't think I'll ever be able to come back here from my experience. read more

I wanted to take my son to get a haircut from a neighborhood barber, and after reading the reviews, I wanted to give this place a try. We were a walk-in (no appointment) at 3PM and were greeted warmly. We were told (by the barber closest to the door) that we would be his next client and to sit tight. After waiting 15 mins, we were again assured we would be next. Reasonable so far. After waiting approx 30 mins, when he finished the previous client, the barber looked straight at my son and me BUT took another client that walked in 20 mins after us. It's obvious that they are friends and the barber hooked his friend up at our expense. Sucks for us. The barber knew what he did and tried to apologize for it when we walked out at approx 3:30PM. While I don't doubt we would've received a decent haircut if we were friends of the barber, I just couldn't support a business that treats a new client's time so poorly. Each of barbers seem like decent guys/gal, but for my time (especially with a little one), I have reservations recommending this place to friends or families that are not already friends with the barber. read more

Here's my story... It was an early Saturday morning around 8:45am, and I had a huge 50th anniversary event for my parents in which I had to look sharp! Yes I know it's better to set a barber appointment, but with planning this whole event, I simply ran out of time. I was in dire need of a haircut, and figured the 'super' and 'sport' clipping places would be available on short notice. But after reading their Yelp reviews, I preferred to stand clear of them. Now regardless of the negative reviews here, I rushed to give this place a try instead. Found it, walked in, and DAAAYUM esé, talk about FIESTA bro! The place was jumpin'! I'm talkin' old school funk and hip hop tunes bumpin', every chair taken, and all the barbers cuttin' away! There was at least 35 to 40 people in here, customers and staff. Busy as hell, but everyone just having a good time this early rainy morning! All I could hope for was that they would take me in. No one helped me at first, but I wrote my name down on the "walk-in" sheet, waited and observed. They've got about 10 chairs, an aquarium, a pool table, and a bunch of Green Bay Packers garbage along the walls lol. All of the barbers seemed male, and the customers they were cuttin' already looked sharp. I was approached by a female that pulled me to her chair and started prepping me. I had a full head of hair that I let go for about three months, so I didn't really know how to restyle my fro. We went through several yelp pics, found a style, and she started choppin'. After a while, we broke the ice, and I found out her name was Genesis. She came to a point where the tapering felt super close to skin. Little did I know, she was using a straight edge. Nearly done, I asked if she also trimmed eyebrows. Yep, she straight edge them too! Oh man, Genesis was precise and did an excellent job on me overall. The cut was only $20-25, but since she included the brow trim I gave her $40 (tip included). I know it seems high to some, but rarely do I let someone else cut my hair.
