Been coming to this shop for a couple of years now. Have always had a good haircut from any of the barbers that have cut my hair. I went tonight and unfortunately showed up right when they were cleaning up for the night. I apologized and was going to walk out but one of the barbers (I think Gavino is his name) offered to have me sit and take care of me. He unpacked all his gear again and cut my hair. He was very nice about it and did an excellent job. I know I held him up when he was getting ready to go home and I appreciate him going out of his way to accommodate me. Just recently moved to the Norwalk area and needed to find a barber. Sounds pretty easy, right? Well it's harder than it sounds. Had a great one in San Pedro but needed something closer. Scoped out yelp and tried a few different barbers but wasn't feeling them. So I dropped in at Norwalk Barbers and found what I was looking for. Upon arrival I noticed how clean, almost immaculate they kept the shop. I was greeted by a friendly lady, Luz who did a remarkable job. She asked me questions to ensure I got the cut I came in for. I visited this location last minute NYE 2022 for the first time and was happy with a quick trim just to get me thru the night as my barber in another town was on vacation, I happened to call and the owner for their business hours and asked her if she had a male barber that did fades and she recommended Louis to me and provided his hours of operation, today I went in and to my surprise I was beyond amazed by his barbering skills and also his etiquette for such a young gentleman, no typical gossiping and playground behavior @ this shop. Barbershop was clean and also has parking in the back. Luis was the only barber present, and spoke Spanish, though could comprehend English. His skills were on par with local barbers, and did as instructed. Wish the cleanup and the taper would have been better. One issue I had was that there weren't any signs stating the price (first red flag, another one was an atm in a barbershop). Remember that this is a cash only location. Had a great hair cut by Kyle. I was not sure how I wanted my hair cut so he took a minute and looked at it then gave me one of the best cuts I have ever had. My hair is thin on top so he cut the sides shorter and left the top longer so when it is combed back it has the appearance of being fuller. My wife lived it. Wait time on a Sunday morning was less than an hour. The haircut for adults is starting at $18 and $14 for kids. I got my son a haircut for $14 and provided a $2 tip. The gentleman cutting my son's hair was nice and provided more or less what I wanted. The sides we're not as tight and clean as I was expecting. This was a no frills or thrills haircut as no gel was provided, I assume this is because $14 for a kid haircut is Rock bottom pricing so don't expect much at this rate. The three stars was given because I felt the gentleman who cut my son's hair was nice and fully capable, however, I believe my son requiring to wear a facemask really makes an issue when wanting to line up the sideburns and back of the hair. I'm on the fence on coming back to this place but as others have pointed out, there is value in their pricing. read more

I was referred by a friend. I finally was in the area and decided to check out this place. Especially because they open early at 8:00a.m. Therefore, I was able to enjoy some free time after dropping off my kids at school. Although the place look very kid friendly. (I will keep that in mind when my kids need a cut) I was greeted quickly and sat down to enjoy a cut and coffee. I like the modern decoration and the black and white pictures of celebrities. I will definitely drive about 10 miles to enjoy a fresh cut. read more

Ive been coming here for months. So far ive liked it..til today. The elderly woman who did my cut always has the spot right by the door. So i sat in her chair and i told her 2 on the sides, nothing on top. She said ok. After putting the apron on me she asked ''so how do u want it?'' Whatever, i told her again. She did the sides and then asked if i wanted my beard cut, i said ''no, its ok''. Guess what she did? Yup. F*cked up my right cheek, then went to my neck. It was too late, i let her continue. Thought she was done. Nope. Turns around grabs some scissors and goes wild with the top. First my bangs, then goes all over. And as one big F*CK YOU to me, she does the beard one more time. I came to get a haircut after having a bad day at work. The pretty Mexican lady in the middle chair was so amazing! She cut my hair so wonderfully better than my last shop. She brought up my mood so quick and had me laughing the whole time. She even styled my hair after! We really have to appreciate our hairstylists they are everyday risking their lives to keep us stylish and our hair maintained. Never go here. I took my son so he could get his hair cut 20 minutes before they closed. They completely ignored us the male barber started closing up the doors and we just sat there for about 10 minutes while they started closing there hole in the wall shop.
