I usually don't do reviews but my experience at the Pacsun Chino hills was unacceptable. We didn't even want to finish shopping towards the end. Customer service has always lacked at this location but Thursday was the worst experience yet. The associate wouldn't help us, was rude and disrespectful and when asked why she was acting this way, the response was "I'm just over it", "I don't care, and "I'm leaving any way". Her male counter part was just as bad, I was trying to get jeans off a high shelf and he didn't even offer assistance, but they laughed and joked at the register. It's a shame because I come from a different city to spend my money in Chino Hills and I will not be returning to this store. Going from Trader Joe's employees to someone representing this store, I would be embarrassed as a business. I'm sure nothing will be done, I noticed complaints about this same employee on this site. First time coming into this location, and overall wasn't impressed with the men's selection. They have horrible service. I sent my daughter on today to return some pants that I accidentally or again. The girl that helped her was rude and would not take her return, even though she had her receipt. She claimed that she could not take it because "it would ruin her inventory." I give negative stars to an employee named Rebecca that works at this Chino Hills store. I hardly ever write a review but this NEEDED to be done. The worst customer service I have seen ever. Many have told myself and friends that this store has horrible customer service but I dont come here often enough to see it. WELL, with one trip with my daughter, I see it all! Doing a simple return, the young employee at the register did a return incorrectly (no big deal) but she seemed afraid to ask her manager Rebecca for help. I now can understand why she might have felt that way because this Rebecca "manager" had the WORST attitude I've seen in customer service. Did not want to deal with the return & then tells me, "I dont see what the problem is." Young child, if you look at the receipt you will easily see the problem. I didnt call her "young child" but that's my thought in my head. This girl Rebecca is giving crazy looks, no positive attitude and just back talk and rudeness. She finally admits ( which was SO HARD for her) that the other employee did the return wrong. No sorry for the inconvenience or anything. She hated that I was right about the mistake. Horrible customer service every time I come into this store. I have never been greeted, but customers that come in right after me are immediately greeted. The employees never ask if I need help and disregard me completely. I called the place last week to ask a question about returns and the guy who answered was nice, but when I walked in to return a pair of jeans yesterday, the man I talked to was incredibly rude-mannered and said I couldn't return them without the invoice receipt, even though the one I talked to on the phone said it was fine. I ended up being able to return them, but I will definitely avoid this PacSun from now on. Next time I have to come in and I have yet another negative experience, I am going to speak to the manager's boss and get them all fired. Based on all of the negative reviews of this place, they need a brand new staff. read more

I went to high school with some of the people who work in this store. Basically, a lot of above average (not hot) girls work here. But they think they are hot shit for landing a job in a "hip" place like pac sun. So they walk around like their farts don't stink and are not helpful at all. They mess up transactions, don't put things on hold for you, and are lazy in general. The prices here are TERRIBLE! They are the highest of all the pac suns that I have been to. Selection is terrible too because everyone in Chino Hills will buy everything. I don't bother shopping here. read more

Ive never returned an item I used a rewards on. So i didnt know it doesnt transfer over to whatever item you're exchanging. I wish an employee warned me before I returned an item. Instead I had to just get a full refund. They acted so inconvenienced to do it too. I shouldve stuck with the Rancho location, way better customer service. read more

I am honestly really annoyed at this location. I love Pacsun especially having one so close to home. I only shop at this one to support local business. Just last week a made a large purchase for a trip. A week and a half later I go to return a few items I ended up not using, unfortunately I lost my receipt. I nicely asked the manager if they could look up my order through credit or a various method. Pacsun has no way of alternatively looking up an order through credit or anything. I would have been fine with store credit. The store manager smugly told me with out recipe i can only receive store credit for what the items are worth today. ( I would have been fine with this as well, I worked in retail for years, I get it). I say okay and ask what the credit would be. Still in a rude unfriendly manor he looks at my two pairs of shorts and a shirt and grabs a calculator (doesn't use it, doesn't look at the tags, doesn't do anything) and tells me it would be a credit of "30 some dollars". I let him know these shorts are $40 each not including the shirt, there is no way my items are all worth a $30 credit when I purchased them last week. He informed me the shorts are $20 each now, and buy one get one half off. He had the nerve to lie straight to my face. These shorts are my favorite bullhead black shorts, I have every color and stalk the sales, know for a fact they do not go to sale for $20 in the middle of summer like some of the other shorts. They were buy one get one half off (which is what I purchased them at). I understand not having a receipt and receiving store credit. But to try and lie about what store credit I would get back made my blood boil. My friend went later that day to check the price of the same shorts and they were not $20, only buy one get one 50% off. I don't know if he was trying to deflect returns or just being a jerk. Either way they have permanently lost my business. I don't have high expectations. I don't expect a full credit refund. What I expected was for a manager of a store (that has no way to look up your purchase) to understand that receipts get lost and to kindly and honestly tell me my options. Not smugly try to deflect a return from step 1. I went to another Pacsun told them I had lost the receipt. And they gave me the option of receiving a refund for the buy one get one 50% off price and the price of the shirt (the total was more than double the $30). Or exchanging the shorts for the correct sizes. Like I said I wont be back at the Chino Hills Pacsun. read more

I also agree with DC.D I worked there for a R.O.P. Class and the three women managers there were terrible to work with. They did not follow the company's rules when it came to cellphones, food, visits from people. They made me do everything they didn't want to do like cleaning their bathrooms everyday and organizing almost the whole back room. They were very snooty and to me it seemed they just thought they owned the place. So create your own opinion by going there but to me, they need new management. read more

Purchase a pair of pants on Black Friday and I had return it previews night and got the buy one get one free jeans. Came to return it because I change my mind and when i was returning the items, they did not tell me that it would NOT go back into my card instead it has to be store credits. I just wish the worker could've explain more instead of just ringing it up. The second time I went back to return my jeans it was a young white manager who help me, he was inpatient and overwhelmed. When I had asked the girl next to him that if I just return one pair of pants, would I get partial credits and he told her no. So I had decided to return everything I got and got something else. When I had walked out the door and read the receipt in the back I had went back and confronted him. He said he couldn't do anything about it. His whole attitude sucks! When we come out to California to visit family we always go to the shoppes. This store always has a deal or two going on. We did have one experience where a staff member was very rude and snapped at us, but for the most part the staff was very friendly. They do like to sit and pile up at the cash machine. I waited 5 minutes before any of them noticed I was waiting for someone to get a pair of shoes for me in back. If I can give no stars, I would. Such a horrible customer service by no less than the manager himself. I was just there a few minutes ago. Looked at the sale items, which said BOGO. I found 2 jeans of the same brand, style and size . Both had a red tag of $14.99. I asked tge manager if ghose were part of the BOGO and he said yes. So i went to the register to pay for the items... the lady said my total was $32+. I asked her why, when it should only be $14.99 + tax for both. She then asked the manager, ans he just said "oh these are mismarked... do you still want them?". I asked him if I find another jeans of the same tag, will it still be considered mismarked?. He just said, "yes, they're all probably mismarked... do you still want them? It's still a good deal". I just said, no and asked if he was the manager, and he said yes. Sorry, but I think this is wrong. How can 2 items of the same kind be mismarked? The manager did not even try to find another denim that was correctly priced to prove that there was indeed and error. Came in for Labor Day weekend sale. 2 employees not helping anyone at the register never offered us for any help or if we needed shoe sizes. After waiting I got their attention to check for sizes the workers seem to have an attitude. The employee came back still with an attitude letting us know they did not have the sizes I needed. Not sure if they care about making sales.I will not spend any more money with pacsun. Kids who work at this location are so stuck up please teach them manners and customer service. They had a great selection of clearance items the last time i came here (like $4 sweaters, $8 dresses, etc). No employee bothered to help me, I had to constantly badger the cashier to open a fitting room for me (she called another girl, who was folding clothes, to open the fitting room for me when she wasnt doing anything) THEN when i went to pay I had to wait about 0 minutes for her to come to ring me up AND i KID YOU NOT, she was taking a personal call WHILE ringing my order. Like talking on her cell phone, ringing up my items, then stopped talking for a second to tell me my total and CONTINUED talking on her cell phone!! while doing my transaction!! WTF is wrong with this place?! Maybe there is a lack of authority figures and they put mindless idiot teenagers in charge to save money. WOW so rude!! She never maintained eye contact, was talking on her cell phone (talking about weekend plans) WHILE she was ringing up my items.
