Came in today around 4 o'clock on a Tuesday. The store was moderately busy and were able to get help right away. The employee that helped us was names Danielle, and she was the sweetest person in the world. My boyfriend needed a suit for an interview for THE NEXT DAY. She helped my boyfriend get measured & fitted in under an hour. AMAZING, And she was able to help us find his exact size so he didn't have to get alterations or some back the next day. She was absolutely amazing, and had so much patience. Thank you so much Danielle. The only reason we rated it 4 stars because the price was crazy! We kinda knew suits were expensive but now we KNOW they are expensive. My boyfriend purchased : Coat 2 Undershirts Pants Belt Shoe Cleaner 3 Piece Undershirts Total came out to $700. We know it is something he will use repeatedly, so at the same time we aren't complaining. But it was definitely expensive. Other than that customer service was a HIGH 5 stars! After patronizing the Men's Warhorse for decades and ordering many custom suits, I had the worst customer service experience on May 11 around 12:45 p.m. The purpose of my visit was to purchase some casual clothing, a suit, and have some new pants hemmed. I believed I had a great relationship with the Men's Wearhouse because of my years-long dedication to them. I entered the business and noticed two employees (both female; one younger than the other) helping two customers. I stood around for several minutes, and finally an employee directed me to scan a QR code to get in line. I was really in no hurry; very patient. While waiting, I made several selections and then continued to wait. The same customers were wrapping up their purchases. I waited several more minutes. I had been waiting about 25 minutes to this point. Moments later, two additional customers entered and were immediately helped by a young female employee. After patiently waiting for the new customers who arrived twenty-five minutes after me to be helped, I inquired with the younger female employee. She immediately lied and said she "goes by the iPad." I literally observed this employee's interaction with the newly arriving customers and neither of them were on the list. They just walked up to rear counter and never scanned the QR code. So I am standing there with my selections and said I'd like to take care of the hem issue before getting measured for my selections. The employee directed me to the changing room. I put on the pants that were brand new in the package. When I exited the changing room, the employee asked if I bought the pants at the store. I said no. She said they had to be purchased from the store for them to be hemmed, and they had to be dry cleaned. She literally saw me holding the pants that were in a clear wrapping. Obviously the pants weren't from the store. If the policy is they won't hem outside clothing, I am cool with that, but why send me to a changing room without asking about the origins of the pants? Very embarrassing for me. It got worse once I spoke to the person in charge. I explained my long-standing history with the store. She responded by "we treat everyone the same" regardless of how much they buy. I told her that was not true because I was treated horribly and lied to. In addition, the only reason I shared my history with the store was to explain my dedication to the brand. This employee then went on to tell me they were having a hard time finding good employees and offered to hem my pants and get my other selections situated. I politely declined several times. Regarding the younger employee lying about the "iPad" check in issue, the manager indicated those two customers were just picking items up; thus, it was true I was lied to. Those customers never checked in and were never on the list. This was a horrible experience, and Men's Warehouse lost a customer for life. read more

I came in to pick up my husbands suit and the experience was very disappointing. When we walked in, none of the workers greeted us or even acknowledged we were there. We stood around for 10 minutes with no update. I finally had to ask if someone could help us, and the response I got was, "Oh, we'll be there once we help other customers." On top of that, another couple came in after us and they were greeted right away, while we were still ignored. That's ridiculous and completely unprofessional. A simple greeting or letting us know the wait time would have made a huge difference, but instead it felt like our time didn't matter. We have been to this store multiple times but the experience we had today with the store manager Erica was horrible and I don't think we will be returning. Erica approached us as we entered to inquire if we needed help but it was evident even in her greeting that she did not want to be there. My husband wasn't even going to try on the shirts he had a picture of the size he needed from a previous purchase at this same location. Erica was in the way and didn't really let my husband look at the shirts. Even though he had given her the size she still grabbed a different size and not because it was a mistake but because she thought she knew better and kept insisting that he wouldn't be able to button it all the way. It was at checkout that my husband noticed it was the wrong size and she again insisted that he wouldn't be able to button up the shirt all the way even though he's able to do so with the shirt he has at home. At her instance he tried on the shirt she selected at the register and it was too big. What also bothered me was her rude reaction to his name. When giving his number for his rewards account, she did a very obvious eye roll attempted to say his name and end with "whatever ". read more

I came in a weekday evening and looking for a black suit. As I walked in, the gentleman greeted me and walked over to ask what I'm specifically looking for. Informed him I'm looking for a black suit & in a short length. Asked for my size and also measured me to conformed. Tried on 3 Kenneth Cole Awareness (Modern Fit) different sizes. Found one that fits then gave me the matching pants to try on. After trying it on, came back to him at the register. He asked how it fitted which I responded it was good. He informed me of their alterations and basically ready to ring me up. I asked for the price which was @ regular retail price. I asked him if they have any suits on sale, he pointed at the sales rack towards the front corner and commented not sure if there's a black suit in my size. I decided to leave the store because it seemed like he wasn't going to assist me anymore. I'm assuming ( I hate this word) out of all the other brands in the store, the one I tried on was the only suit brand and size for me. Are you pushing the Kenneth Cole with special incentives for the sales team? The reason I came is because of all the "pop ups " I have received in my social media apps. There's 1 in particular that popped up. A Kenneth Cole Awareness (Modern Fit) in Blue Plaid at a deep discount from $349 to $99 (71% OFF). So I guess it only applies to this particular color. I rented 2 tuxedos for my nephew's wedding that we need to attend in the first weekend of May. I rented them last month. My older son's tuxedo rental came in with no problems. He's gonna look sharp! But, unfortunately, my 8 year old son's rental turned out to be a total disaster. When I received a text to come and pick up the tuxedo rental, the fit was WAY OFF. Pants were so long that they were not tailored correctly, vest size was adult size, white shirt was long in the sleeves and tuxedo shoes were tight. ( please know that we did a fitting a month before to get close to the correct size) before the order was placed. I asked to for them to fix it since I was NOT going to have my son looking sloppy in a tuxedo. Two days later, come back again and the fit is the opposite now...TOO TIGHT.Pants looked like high water pants ( according to the manager they were perfect), shirt was too tight and vest was really small, along with the tie that looked for a smaller child. The manager's responded to me by saying, " what did I expect, it's a rental" when I told her the creases on the pant was off too. I paid $200 for a rental. Service was awful, tailoring was horrible, and now I have to look elsewhere with one day to go to the wedding. Don't shop here. If you want good fit, go somewhere else. I will never go back to ANY Men's Warehouse EVER again. The manager was terrible and customers should not settle for mediocre service, even if it's a rental. read more

I just wanted to thank everyone at this location as they made a what is usually a stressful experience into a great experience for me. Ive been working out since I was a teen and my body proportions aren't normal. I have a 54 coat size and 38 w. Very square.. and my arms about 19. I was greeted and taken care of with a great selection of fashionable and reasonable sports coats and shirts that fit! I did have to special order my coats but the shirts were a slam dunk. The coats, which I usually only buy dark blue or black were available in my size by order and delivery within 5 days. I left payinf a little over $400 with 2 coats and 4 shirts. Good experience getting a suit for my friends wedding. They made the process easy and quick.

Earlier this afternoon around 1:30PM I decided to walk into this shop to purchase some sports coats. The night before I had seen a wide selection of coats on sale and available at this chino location. Upon entering the business I didn't see anyone in the shop til I got a bit closer to the front of the store. That's when I noticed a Hispanic older female on her cell phone. She appeared very upset and bothered, I waived her at her and said hello, she completely ignored me. I decided to take it upon myself to see if I could find what I saw online. About 5 minutes go by when I walk up to the women while she is still on her cellphone. She said " can I help you!?" With a horrible attitude! I then replied I was looking for a men's sports coats and asked if she has any of the particular brand I found online. She then said "everything we have in scattered around our store, I then asked if she knew the brand and she replied very aggressively and rude " you can go online and see what you want and we can possibly order it" she then walked away back on her cell phone. Minutes later a young man named Jeremiah from what he told me, greeted me and my daughter after walk around lost looking for the sports coats I found online. Long story short this young man was great! He assured me it's not like this all the time and apologize, and actually took his time to help me. I was very upset and frustrated but was able to keep my composure as this sales person gave me his Devine attention and was super helpful, this store would have lost a $500 plus sale if it wasn't for his ability to try and correct the issue. As a business owner I teach my employees to provide every single customer with a great experience. This was very disappointing! The only reason I'm not giving this review a 5 star is because of this so called Manager who was horrific! read more

My daughter called to see if my husband's jacket was ready because it was supposed to be ready today however we did not get a call or an email so she spoke to this woman who was very abrupt with her on the phone and being incredibly rude then just hung up, I heard the whole conversation That did not sit well with me so I decided to call to ask for a manager, I knew I was speaking to the same person because she said what did you need I asked for her name again she said why I asked if she was a manager she said no I'm the one here and I go well can I have your name and she kind of laughed as well I'm I'm and you can tell she was thinking about what to say and then she admitted that her name was ?. I'm not even quite sure that that is her name incredibly rude. I mean beyond rude you don't say why I mean OMG basic customer service is hi my name is so so how can I help you? That's it simply put this is the worst place. We spent a lot of money here for two suits. I wish we could return them and go somewhere else. The young man who helped us with our first visit was incredibly nice and professional. This person here should not be in customer service. I understand it's a busy time of year with weddings, proms, and other events, but she lacks people skills. read more

As we walked in we were greeting nicely however as the sales associate Ericka kept coughing talking over us and not paying attention, as we let her know if she needed a moment to collect herself. She said no and kept going as my husband tried on the clothes he tried them on and stated "she needed to see him in them" as he put the clothes on to show her there were other customers around needing assistance she stated "gosh im surrounded by a bunch of princesses" I proceeded to explain that the comment wasn't needed. Then as we went to check out there was a miss communication on prices, and she tried to up-charge us. As today my husband and I went to a different location of Men's Warehouse, we paid 275.00 she was going to charge us 350.She failed to inform us that she didn't save any information and we had to start all over. She also failed to mention that we could leave a deposit, the Brea location stated that a deposit is fine however when we tried to leave one she declined. They helped me find a sportcoat on sale and were able to shorten the sleeves within my timeframe (3 days). Beware of their pricing and promotions. Deceitful pricing policies. I went into the Chino store on Tuesday after seeing several on line promotions, we found a suit separates that I liked and the fit and when asked about the promotions they knew nothing about them and even asked another employee and told me the promotion ended. The coat and pants would be $449.00. I decide to wait and keep looking for the next promotion. 4 days later on the web site I saw the same coat and pants advertised for $399.99. I went into the store and was told there was no promotion on these items. I had him look at the website and he confirmed they were the same items and he didn't know about the promotion but yes they would be at the promotion price then. After marking for tailoring and ringing them up they came to $449.00. He and another employee stated that it must be a web only deal. Since they were the same items I asked for a price match and told they cant do that. I declined the sale and will not shop there again due to deceitful pricing bait and switch tactics. I've had decent experiences here before, but I was planning to rent a tuxedo for my wedding. Men's Wearhouse was top of mind due to being a national chain. When my fiance and I visited to try on tuxedos and make a selection, we were told that you are unable to try anything on. The store associate pointed to a display on the counter and told us we could make a selection from the printed display and they would take our measurements and they'd ship it prior to the wedding. Now there are several styles of tuxedos and suits to choose from, but they do not have any samples for you to try on. So how are you supposed to know if the tuxedo or suit will look on you since there are a few styles. Not all styles work for everyone. This policy is terrible and makes for a terrible shopping experience, especially when you are supposed to look and feel your best on your wedding day. We ended up finding a local tux rental place who actually lets you try on mutliple style to see what works for you. If you just want something off the rack and barely tailored to you, this is the place to go, but having worn a tuxedo for my brother's wedding that was from Men's Wearhouse, i can guarantee you that they don't have the level of detail and service as some other places. read more

Giving this two stars, though I feel it deserves one. I have a couple of unaltered suits with unfinished trousers that I need to get tailored. I know that MW has tailoring because I've shopped here plenty. What I didn't know, and what the website doesn't tell you, is that it's ONLY available for purchases you made with them. My husband was fitted for a wedding. He is a larger guy. When he went to pick up everything, the vest looked awful on him. I asked if there were any other selections that matched the specific color. I was told that because of his size (2XL), they had none. And none in the surrounding areas. Then the associate had the audacity to say he had to ask for the brides permission! Wait, I know the bride. I know she'd like him to not be fat shamed, and he does not need permission to try a proper fitting alternative as she is paying for pictures! Top end for their store. Suit was well made, but the fit was TERRIBLE. Manager said it fit fine, but please....customer is always right. The suit is now being fixed at Roger Stuart in LA. The customer service at this place has gone down. Unless you are buying or renting a suit they will not even help you out. I came in just to purchase a pair of socks and was ready to pay. I stood at the cashier area at the front of the store for 10 minutes watching the staff and waiting patiently for someone to ring me up for the socks. There was one lady who has seen me but she was helping someone out so I waited until she finishes with them and handed them their purchase at the front of the store. When she was done she just walked away to the back of the store without even asking me if I needed help or anything. She wasn't in a hurry and wasn't helping anyone else out. That's when I decided to just leave. I've purchased and rented suits at this store before for me and my kids but not anymore. Needed a suit for a wedding and haven't bought a suit in almost 20 years. I liked the QR Code check in and browsed while waiting. I was eventually helped by the manager (forgot his name). I told him what I needed and my style and he quickly hooked me up with exactly what I needed. Of course the suit was one of the more expensive ones, but it had a good fit and the color was perfect. Jacket, pants, vest, and 2 shirts almost $900, but it was quick, easy and I was out of there. Got to go back for a tie. I felt they were very efficient even though it was fairly crowded. I picked up my husbands suit from a younger woman with red head who was very sweet. Upon returning the suit a shorter woman with dark hair was extremely rude and dismissive. Every question I asked she acted like I was inconveniencing her. The wedding he rented the suit for was out of country and he had told them prior so the late fee was supposed to be minimal. The woman didn't look up the suit reservation and wanted to charge us for more until I asked her to look it up. She seemed disappointed that our late fee wasn't as much as she originally told me. Overall it was a bad experience. I'm VERY nice to people and often afraid of rude people so I was really polite but the interaction made me write my first yelp review. It's not that hard to be kind especially to customers. read more
