The prices for what you get are not a particularly good value. The freshness was good, but the flavors were either bland or fire breathing. I was stunned and excited to find 8 fresh spring rolls for $7. And was very disappointed that they were small sections of a spring roll. The ends had been cut off, and then they were cut in half. This made them messy and difficult to eat. We did not taste any mint or cilantro, and the chicken was just flavorless boiled chicken. The crab rangoon 6pcs for $5, were about the size of quarters, with a tail of wrapper... they were burnt or the oil they were fried in seriously needs to be changed. The asian salad dressing I think was just this side of spoiled, it was very vinegary and not at all what I expected. We requested Pad Thai (heat level 2) was covered in red pepper, so that my spice loving teenager was in tears after two bites... Their heat scale only goes to 5, so 2 should have been safe for everyone in our house. The Phanaeng Curry was curdled, and had some odd white cream on it. I thought it might be coconut cream, but it didn't taste like anything. I mixed it in, but it just added to the curdled look. I got a level 1, and it was still pretty spicy, and I am usually ok between 2 & 3 anywhere else. All in all, it was not worth the money, and my kiddo is adding in her places to avoid list. This place!! Is a must try, I have been to a few other places in town. It's a tiny whole in the wall restaurant but the food is amazing. Always fresh and everything has flavor unlike other places where everything taste the same. Love the drunken noodles one of my favorite, I have to go to this place weekly. There is much space or parking on a busing evening but it's possible to find a table. The food is worth the wait. I will drive the extra mile to go to this place. Fried shrimp was wrapped in eggroll paper and had a slice of ginger in them. I didn't care for the sauce, it looked like it had mayo in it. Drunken noodles were good with a nice flavor. Sweet and sour chicken was fried chicken, pineapples, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Fried rice was delicious and because I got the lunch portion it came with fried dumplings, I didn't care for those. It was a young man that answered when I called to inform them my order was incorrect and he had terrible customer service. Telling me to "chill, just chill" on the phone. They gave me Fried egg rolls when I specifically asked for Fresh spring rolls. Of course it's not the end of the world but they way he handled the situation and picked up the phone call, no one will come back for that kind of service. The very best Thai restaurant I have ever been too! The jalapeño chicken wings are the best wings I have ever had. My wife who is not a wing person loved them too. Entrees were even better if that is even possible. I had the dynamite shrimp which had amazing flavors. Never had anything like it before. My wife had the red curry with salmon and she could not stop talking about how good it was. Portions are large so we have something to look forward to tomorrow. read more

Ok- this is when you want everyone to come here so the place becomes an institution, but you don't want to share!! I have never eaten Thai food this delicious before. I've had great Thai food but this takes it to a new level. Nashville needs to step up to keep up- and I have eaten at every Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese you name it Nashville. I will drive the 45 min to eat here! The heat level is consistent, and know how hard that can be in Nashville! Their are char marks on the chicken and beef adding another depth of flavor. The portions of one dish are enough for 2. You won't ask for any salt/vinegar/or extra heat. Level 3 is the perfect middle of the road- quite spicy but it won't hurt. Generous veggies for all vegetarian dishes. Every curry you can think of, lots of options for chicken wings, noodle dishes and rice dishes. We had the green curry no meat, Thom Ka, Drunken noodles with Beef, Fury fried rice with chicken, and yes you will find the crispy (what I call pegado) rice from the bottom of the wok- a MUST!! Late this afternoon I called in a pick up order for two Shrimp Lomein. Prior to placing my order I ask for the price of the Shrimp Lomein. The guy on the phone quoted me $8.50 each. The food would be ready in 60 minutes. When I went inside for my order another guy gave me the total which came out to $10.50 each. When I requested they honor the price I was quoted over the phone they said they couldn't do that. Many excuses were offered as to why I was given the wrong price. I requested the manager be made aware of the problem. The guy went back to speak with Tommy (owner/manager of the restaurant) and he would not honor the price I was quoted. I could not believe what I was hearing. It wasn't important enough for Tommy to speak with me directly. Several of his staff members advised the price for each meal would be $10.50 each. I spoke with the person who took my order over the phone directly at the restaurant. He said I must be mistaken on the price he quoted. I was not mistaken as I repeated the price back to him. I had the guy on soeaker phone and my friend heard him quote $8.50 each. I can't believe they are willing to lose a customer over $4.00. The lack of empathy and understanding shocked me as a customer. I refused the order because of the conflict in the pricing. Upon leaving the store I forgot my card. A nice person brought it to my car. I ask him to request Tommy come to speak with me about the situation. After waiting several minutes Tommy did not appear. No one came to me to inform me Tommy would not speak with me. As a consumer I will take my business to a restaurant that will appreciate my patronage. Pad Thai does not take the necessary steps to ensure a pleasant customer experience. Given the hard economic times we are all experiencing I want to patron a restaurant that appreciates my feedback and will proactively offer a solution to any problens.
