I have been going here for about six years. And the customer service I have recently experienced it was not nice at all. I have this story where my cousin ordered a beef pad Thai while I was putting gas in my car and she use my phone number. The guy answered said that she would get her order in, but i did not hear until a bit after. I called hours after my classes got out, after that incident, the guy who answered had the nerve to argue with me about if I ordered or not earlier. I asked for a beef pad thai with one star but he got all defensive and said oh aren't you the same person who ordered this earlier I said no he said are you sure because he said it was the same phone number I said no it was my cousin that does not have a phone so she use mine. I ordered the beef pad Thai and had a specific time, agreed with the man who answered the phone at 3:20 PM. I went in there with my father because I felt disrespected as a loyal customer to this restaurant. This man had the nerves to laugh at my father, a full-grown man, and me, a teenager. he was not accepting our feedback back, constantly brushing off what we said and he laughed. He kept arguing like the customer is in the wrong, but in this case the customer is right, and it was very wrong of him to laugh off whatever me and my father said. He was being disrespectful and rude, kept making me feel violated by asking me questions of why I (apparently me, but it was my cousin) did not pick up the order, but it wasn't even me it was my cousin and he knew it and still have the nerves to argue over and over. My father asked him if he was the business worker just as a question he started laughing and chuckling and said yeah, no, yeah. He was stuttering from his lie and disrespect. Ive been going here for years and only have seen his face around recently. I know he is not the manager because I have been a customer at this restaurant since I was a little girl and it is not right to lie to your customers or interrogate them. When I asked him after all that, I wondered if my food was ready. I asked him if it was finished and he said no I did not think you would come. That was really horrible and rude what he did, he did not even take my order until I got into the store for my to-go meal. Overall these really upsets me as a customer going here since my childhood, but that man lost my whole family as customers. read more

Mikey S. is spot on, and I couldn't have said it better on the quality of the food. I refer you to his excellent review on that score, and I wish I had asked for my money back as he had. I will make a few passing remarks. I had the Mongolian beef, and it was totally generic. I ordered level 4 spicy, and it wasn't even a 2 in my book. My date had Pad Thai chicken and it was just a bunch of noodles with no flavor and very little chicken or peanut sauce. The spring rolls were filled with iceberg lettuce, a little mint leaf, and maybe a stray julienne carrot or two; again, completely generic. The peanut sauce was very tasty, but the quantity was skimpy. Worst of all, we went on Valentine's Day, and it was freaking freezing in the restaurant! They were too cheap to put the heat on; absolutely bone-shivering cold, but guess what? Customers were coming in fairly frequently the whole time my partner and I sat there, rather stunned. Is it because the food is so non-daring and relatively quick that people patronize this rather dumpy hole-in-the-strip-mall? I'll let you figure THAT out, but you can get much better Thai food at Angel's downtown which is just about a mile or so away. It might take a little longer, but it is no contest on flavor, spiciness, and comfort, and it's only a couple of dollars more. It's worth paying that just so your food doesn't get cold in two minutes due to no heat in this joint. read more

I tried this place twice, both times were just short of basic taste requirements. The major shortcoming was the ingredients and lack there of. I expect more than iceberg and rice noodles for a spring roll. They seem like nice people, sorry to have to leave only two stars. read more

Excellent food - always fresh! The ginger broccoli is my favorite. There's usually only 2 people working, but they're quick and friendly.

My favorite little Thai place. The people that work there are not super friendly or hospitable. They almost seem a little annoyed you are there. Once you get past all that, order the peanut noodles...(I wake up at night thinking of these) omg so tasty! Also the Tom Kha soup is amazing. They have decent prices and pretty good portions. I have never had a bad experience. I truly enjoy all of thier food. Thier boba teas and Thai teas are tasty too. The only draw back is that they make all of thier food in the same wok so this place is not friendly for those with nut allergies and since my boyfriend is severely allergic I avoid this place unless I know I won't be seeing him that day read more

I have to say the Pad Thai chicken here is the best I have had and The Tum Yum Gai and Tom Yum Kha are delicious. Everyone I have brought here for lunch has liked it. The only thing now why I'm giving it a three is it seems like there may be an over dosage of MSG in the food and the wait is long sometimes and because this restaurant has a lot of potential figuring its right next to Starbucks and in a great location yet its not using it to the fullest extent that it could. It would be nice if this restaurant did like a lunch buffet with like 8-10 of the most popular dishes to choose from. Especially figuring the name says Pad Thai Express which would also make it very popular as it would be the only Thai restaurant in town with a lunch style buffet. Also putting in smaller tables for more customers to sit inside the restaurant would be great idea as the booths in there are way too oversizeed for the space. Adding some small bistro two seater tables would probably do the job better as most of the time I see no more than 2-4 people sitting on the same table at any given time so having 6-8 people boothing seats really does not do any good except take up too much space. Doing a Lunch buffet with prepped food for lunch would bring in lots of customers in this place and I have seen other Thai restaurants on the East Coast do such lunch buffets which are a huge success during lunch hours so no one has to wait for any long period of time. read more

YUM!!!! Went here today to order takeout. I got the Peanut noodles & my bf got the Pad Thai. We also got an order of their delicious egg rolls. I love peanut sauce & my noodles were so good! I tried the Pad Thai & it was also delicious. The egg rolls were so good! I wish we would've ordered 2 orders instead of 1! We only had to wait around 10 minutes on a busy Friday. We frequently order take-out from here and it has generally been excellent. We have had a couple of orders in the past year where the sauces was very thick (almost like paste) by the time we get home. The Kee Mao Noodles are excellent -- we order chicken or pork with 3-star spice and it remains our go-to order. Pricing is reasonable for the large portions ($8.99 for Kee Mao Noodles). We occasionally eat at the restaurant but the seating and decor is very basic -- it could be improved to seat more people in more comfort. Service for us has always been completely acceptable. read more

I love the Thai Fried Rice, Massaman Curry, and Taro bubble tea. The fried rice is the best Asian fried rice I've ever had, anywhere. I've eaten here a couple times. Had the Cashew Nut Chicken, and Panang Curry. The Cashew Nut was awesome, the Panang good. Portion sizes here are great... they give you a lot, so you likely will have leftovers. My only issue is with getting a curry dish for lunch carry-out. It comes in what is essentially a soup container (skinny and tall)... with rice in a separate small container. If you need to eat in a car, or are not going somewhere that you have plates... its an issue. I definitely recommend. Oh and I may develop a crush on the young lady working there if I keep going... so adorable. read more

I came here about a year ago when my family just saw the place looking for somewhere to have dinner. The food was okay, it was as expected for Thai food I suppose. Service was average as well. Not only did they sell me thai food that we picked up and had to come back without any seasoning and told me I could season it myself at home but lied again in their response. They were dishonest in selling something they told is after the second time that they were out of season but got loud and obnoxious in front of customers. I frequent this place as it is close to work, but the food is simply "okay". It's the best Thai Food in 98502 (imo), but would not go out of my way to come here. I usually get the Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice, which is a favorite of mine when eating Thai. 8/10 times, it has a very strong "smoke/burnt" taste from the wok. Not sure if it is intentional, but this is the first place I've ever had it where some of the rice bits were actually burnt. Other than that, no complaints. read more

Wow! Still outstanding. The family and I haven't ordered food from this restaurant in a number of months. We have always loved this place but have decided to make this our special place to go too. This weekend was our weekend. What a meal! the Pad Thai and fried rice/pork were excellent. I didn't taste my wife's dish but she seemed not to be complaining but seemed happy. I am not an expert on Thai food, but I enjoyed the Pad See Ew they served (mild spice). The wide rice noodles were fun to eat and the sauce was delicious. Next time I will try the medium spice. The mild was not even the slightest bit spicy. You can get curries, noodle dishes, and rice dishes with your choice of vegetarian ($7.95); chicken, pork, beef, or tofu ($8.95); or prawns ($9.95). They also have an all day combo special for $6.95 that comes with a pot sticker, fried rice, noodle, and your choice of six main items. I will definitely be back to try their combo deal. read more
