It's probably one of the original Thai restaurants of this area. It's associated with Four Seasons at Piscataway. It's not a fancy restaurant but the food was always delicious. Be aware that their spicy level is usually spicier than others. Medium is usually too much for most people. We had Tom yum soup which was great for a slightly chilling night. I visited here for dinner a few days ago with a large group. There was plenty of seating available, so we were immediately seated and taken care of. Service was wonderful. I appreciate that their menu had a whole section with vegetarian options. I ordered the pad see ew with tofu- medium spice. The waitress warned us that their spice levels are on the spicier end. I love spicy foods so I was excited to eat. She was right, the food definitely had a kick, but that's what made it delicious. Spicey food craving well satiated. Based on recommendation from Christian C, i brought my teenage nephew here for a special spicey birthday dinner. It is now my go to Thai restaurant in that area. The dining room is filled with appealing pictures of their specialty dishes and traditional thai decor. The tables are slightly congested. The staff is wonderful. Mostly consisting of mature women with what appeared to be thai accents. They were very helpful with explaining the dishes and offering their recommendations. They had jokes too! The food was well prepared. We had the traditional pad thai, seafood pad thai and drunken noodles. Noodles were fully shaped (not broken in pieces), springy and chewy. Every bite is full of flavor. The veggies were crisp. The seafood tasted unbelievably fresh out of the water. For dessert we ordered the fried ice cream. It was yummy. Avoid at all costs. We started with steamed pork dumplings that had dough so thick....a gluten bomb if you will, no flavor to boot. I chocked down a dumpling and started on a entree of fried beef and broccoli. The beef was more chewy than beef jerky and the broccoli was just julianned stems with no crown. Also little flavor. I honestly avoided this place for years because of the low review and I gotta say it's completely unwarranted. The food was banging, the portions were large, and the staff was friendly. I got the Thai Sa-Te which was pork in a sweet peanut sauce and the duck rolls which were both amazing. I tried some of my friends pad thai which was also delicious. Came here with my husband and friend. We were greeted pretty quickly and I ordered the rad na and my husband preferred the pad Thai. I asked for pik nam som (vinegar when peppers) to season my rad na but they didn't have any... Very disappointing. The rad na wasn't bad but could have used the sauce. The menu is extensive so if you are going for the first time, you will need some time to look over the menu. The staff is nice and very attentive. My favorite is the Thai Sa-te which is choice of barbecued meat sauteed in a thick and savory Thai peanut sauce, served with choice of white or brown rice. I alos enjoy their Tom Yum Goong Thai Soup which is Spicy and sour lemon grass soup with shrimp and mushrooms. I can honestly say that i was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. This gem is about 5 minutes outside of New Brunswick on route 27. Usually, the location of this spot would be a deal breaker for me, but luckily there is a parking lot across the street. As soon as you walk in there is a small bar and plenty of tables to fit my group when we came for dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For dinner I had the chicken Gra Pow with medium Spiceyness. Now for one, I love spicy food. The one advice I can give is that if you have low tolerance for spice, I suggest you mild-to no spice. Came here for an early dinner and it is very clean inside and the menu has a lot of pictures of what the food looks like which is an extra effort for me as a customer. There are pictures for all the meals so if you can't read the Indonesian language then you are okay. The meal portions are huge! I always have to take my food home. Went to eat there saturday night based off a recommendation by a good friend of mine. I loved the amount of pictures that came with the menu and the huge vegetarian selection on there. So long story short i enjoyed the food here very much. Highly recommend giving this place a shot. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and what stood out to me was the peking duck roll, the fried fish with the sweet and spicy sauce(forgot the name), the green curry was also very good. Only problem i had with them is the filet mignon with the green peppers and onions. The cut of steak they used was definitely NOT filet mignon and was extremely low quality beef. Ive had better steak in my philly cheesesteak sandwiches..... you guys are not fooling anyone.... I will give you guys the benefit of the doubt and give you guys another chance. Simply the best Thai food anywhere! I have been going to this place for, well, decades and although I don't live near it anymore, I had the opportunity to dine there again this evening and it is every bit as terrific as it ever was. This is not genteel Thai food. These are bold, in-your-face flavors with a generous dollop of heat. Ordering a dish "medium"' spicy will knock your socks off, but they can accommodate non-spicy palates and still be wonderful. The Pad Thai is their signature dish (literally, I suppose) and it is a generous portion of delicious noodles, pork, shrimp, egg, and vegetables that is just so full of flavor. Every bite is a party in your mouth. I have also had absolutely wonderful calamari dishes there, and the five-spice duck is terrific. You can't go wrong. This place is worth traveling for! read more

I love how spicy it is (super spicy, if you can't handle spice get mild)(medium is really spicy) My go to is their vegetarian massaman curry with peanuts and lots of veggies. Usually, it's pretty good and spicy. Sometimes the veggies can be undercooked which can be disappointing. The pad Thai is usually really solid too. Their portions are HUGE. Best pad Thai in New Jersey. Try it with added turnip cakes-- really good with the pad Thai. Red curry seafood soup and green curry over rice are personal faves as well. Not so much a soup as a saucy seafood and noodle dish. But great flavors. I love spicy food and I get the medium spicy level. Don't be a noob and order the wrong spice level. Trust me when I say medium is very spicy. Most of my friends get the mild for spicy. I have had the spiciest one and let me tell you, it is a roller coaster ride! And this is coming from someone who lives by sriracha and other hot sauces. All I need to say is that this pad Thai is addicting. The consistency of the noodles was good but the dish overall was too sweet. They do give you a heaping portion, although I'm not sure if that was necessarily a good thing in this case. My boyfriend ordered the Kao Pad Pad Thai. This is basically Pad Thai but instead of noodles, it's fried rice. The rice was a bit mushy. But it's a cool idea! I've never seen a fried rice version of Pad Thai anywhere. I think this dish has potential. The flavor tasted better than my Pad Thai. Then again, he also ordered a medium spice level vs my mild. Be careful with this - even medium had me chugging water. Mild is great if you like spicy but not too spicy. We also ordered the Neau Yang, which is Thai-style BBQ beef. This, like their other dishes also came as a huge portion. But I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't overcooked, since I really liked the flavor of it. They have a full bar and their cocktails are about $7. They're really sweet but they're also really strong, so tread carefully! I love this little restaurant. At one time I ordered take out so much they knew my name, knew exactly what I was going to order & knew how to spice it before I even said anything. A lot of good food here but I love the Rad Na Talay and Yum Moo Yang. The Thai Tea is good too. Seating is small and tables are close together. I personally don't care for sitting so close to other tables that I can hear the conversations of others. I've been in HP for over 10 yrs and have only eaten in a handful (under 10) of times.
