Quaint little Indian restaurant in North Brunswick which I enjoyed. The food is fast and tasty. We were promptly seated and given menus by the lovely lady in the front. We ordered red and green curries with tofu and asked for the highest level of spice. We were pretty happy with our entrees. The portions are generous but relax, you'll be able to finish it all. I cleaned my plate. My one complaint is that I wished the tofu was fried to be just a little crispier but otherwise I was satisfied with my meal. The flavor of the food (indo-Chinese) taste great. Taste really good just that the food is made super super spicy. I wish they ask for the spice level esp the vegeterian Manchurian. The spice can actually blow your mind, if you like medium spicy. On the other hand, vegetable fried rice is just too bland and tasteless or overcooked. Otherwise we loved the food and flavor. Amazing indo-Chinese food right in the heart of New Jersey. The place has its own building with plenty of parking around with a side of real bamboo trees that give you a Chinese outdoor look. Inside of the restaurant has large tables with white chairs, water cups are put into a bamboo basket, and has good designs all around. Service is quick and food comes out and is made to order, we are a large group and were able to enjoy all the great dishes. We ordered the chili chicken dry, a mixed fried rice, a chicken fried rice, veg and chicken Hakka noodles and a vegetable Manchurian. Fried rice reminds you of street side Indo Chinese food that we get back home in India. Fairly the winner is the Chili chicken, the fried rice quantity is plenty and can be shared. The food was absolutely incredible. The achari chicken was very fresh and healthy. No added flours. The food doesn't make you full like most restaurants. The ambiance is also very nice, giving off a grand vibe. The service is also wonderful. Everyone was kind and listens to what you say. Just try it, you'll love it. I have one suggestion, though. A good info-Chinese place, very flavorful soups and Hakka noodles. Whenever I go the place is predominately empty even on a Friday night when I went ‍ service is quick and nice seating area. Menu is fairly all indochinese items, so don't go expecting more Indian based items, you won't be impressed then. If you like spicy food, then this is for you. Giving 3 stars because the items are overpriced...I paid $19 for chicken pad Thai when my local true Thai place charges like $13. Another star off because the Thai food doesn't take like Thai food. It's good, but not Thai. The pad Thai was basically the same noodles they used for Hakka and just had more soy sauce. Tried this place with mixed reviews in mind, but definitely had some hope that it will satisfy my craving for a classic Indo-Chinese street style fare, and it definitely did to most part of the meal. We got ourselves, Chilli chicken (dry), Egg Hakka Noodles and Szechuan Fish gravy, they were all good, but the chili chicken was the star, perfectly spiced, tender and juicy, nicely diced peppers, just spot on. Noodles were excellent too. The fish was not very appealing and the gravy tasted a little raw/from the jar type. Can't really comment much on the service, as we went on a Monday night, and we were the only one dining in, and I think the person who served us was the person who owned the place. The only negatives from our first visit are, for a three dishes, shared between two it costed us $50 which is very expensive according to me considering this is no fancy place. And the fact that a $5 gratuity was automatically added for a two people table, very uncommon from my experience. I called the resturant to confirm if they are Halal and the person who picked up says it is said it is Halal. I asked if they have certificate - and he replies i can check the dumster and look at the meat itself. When i asked him if understands what halal means and one cannot make out after looking at the dumpster. He says I am hindu etc. I dont think they have a certificate I understand and my reccomendation is NOT to go there of by if you are looking for Halal food. read more

Their hakka veg noodles is pathetic, we had to throw away the box, tasted awful, broken, mushy noodles, no veggies whatsoever. We tried chili chicken which is standard Indo Chinese dish that any decent restaurant serves good but it was not at all regular chili chicken taste, I am not sure but they have used stale sauce in that dish, another one is Gobi manchurian which is below average. However, when we asked how spicy it was they said a very under rated 3. I like spicy so it was good for me. The food was authentic indo-chinese. This place is a solid three stars based on decor, service and food. Not special in any way but nice enough if you live close by. It is a little out of the way for us, but I tried it based on a Amazon voucher. Decor is nice enough. I will post some pix. Tables are laminated with an interesting Oriental pattern. Cloth napkins. Carafes of water at the table. Since the water is put out before service, it is room temp, not chilled. Normal silverware. I assume that chopsticks are available upon request. In many Asian restaurants, it is the other way around. Background music was something jazzy, American, not ethnic. We stopped in early for lunch on a Saturday, ordering from the full menu. Corn soup was decent. Hot and sour soup was just passable and had a lot more heat than normal. My wife had the lamb in a Malay curry sauce. Nice sauce. The lamb was good, not exactly tender but properly cooked. I had the shrimp in a Thai yellow curry sauce. The sauce was just OK but there were six nicely cooked jumbo shrimp. Both dishes served with a side of basmati rice - light and fluffy - not sticky rice. Both portions are big enough to bring some home. Price value on the menu is excellent, even without a coupon. While contemplating the sauce on her lamb, my wife commented that no bread was served. Not unusual for a Chinese or Thai place but since this place is fusion I would have expected some naan. After the meal, I asked our server if they had any coffee or tea. Nope. I thought that a Thai iced coffee or a chai tea should have been available or maybe a nicely presented pot of Jasmine tea. Out of the way for us; but I would be back if it was close by. As I said earlier. Good but not special. Worth the money. Location is on Rt 130 North, across from Shop-Rite. Parking in front is limited but there is a large parking lot in the back, driveway is on the right as you pull in. Unfortunately the menu is not available on line. I do not know why this place is getting so much hate on this forum but I will try to address this place from my own point of view. Pros: -Food that I get is fantastic [chili chicken dry, chili paneer dry, chicken hakka noodles medium spice, schezuan egg fried rice] all food was fantastically prepared and spiced, especially the chili chicken dry, i could eat that for every meal. Cons: -When it's crowded, the service can become subpar so come at off peak hours. -Small side of the highway place with bad parking ability -Portions of meals are a little less for the price that they demand [I suggest either giving more food or lowering the price by 5%-10% to go along with this complaint] -Some dishes seem like they've either been thawed or reused from a previous dish so this seems quite cheap to me. This place kills it with the indian chinese, so focus on that stuff. Don't go in ordering some ridiculous food expecting them to knock it out of the park because the truth is that they won't. This is a restaurant that sits between a number of auto shops and on a busy road. Don't be deterred! The food stays hot despite a twenty minute drive home. Not sure how they do it. We sent it back to get it fixed and what came back we still can't understand what to call it apart from just tasteless forcibly flavored garbage. Veg Manchurian was another distasteful strongly sour flavored garbage. We had come here after 1.15hr drive with hungry kids and us. We literally begged our kids to eat some fried rice and then finally our veg spring rolls arrived as we were getting up. Unbelievable!! When I told the 2nd waiter one expects appetizers to come first he gave another version of the waitress' excuse "sorry, today is my second day here". Spice level was just right for the dry chilli chicken, the chicken 65 was kind of midway between the traditional South Indian curry leave based preparation and a Chinese preparation with onions and peppers. the restaurant may have been good in the past, but now has lost it's touch. First, let me start with with the food. The food is average, but the portion sizes are huge. One entrée is enough to feed two people. We had veg Manchurian & Singapore noodles. The Manchurian was good; however, the noodles were heavy on turmeric. For desserts, they only had mango kulfi. the kulfi was not worth the wait or the money. Second, the service is atrocious. Two out of three water glasses on our table were dirty and we had to ask to change. The server really needs a lot of training. When you need something and grab his attention, he stands there and expects you to yell out what it is that you want. This is insane. Being that it was Halloween night, there were only 2 patrons in the restaurant. I cannot imagine how he handles a busy night. Third, the billing had issues. A 15% tip was included in the bill for a party of 3, which didn't bother me much as I tip 15% anyway. When the credit card receipt was brought back, the charge was for $5.22 higher than the bill+tip amount. He did refund me the overcharge in cash. Overall, I will not go there again. read more

Little dumpy place with some neon lights outside with a cheesy name of Chopsticks III wtf, leading you to believe the focus is definitely take out Asian. Hell no this is true fusion with a slight lean in the direction of India. Man o man were we blown away with the cornucopia of flavor explosions! We chose 3 dishes to share, a spicy lamb and I do mean spicy, mixed fried rice and sweet and sour tilapia. The intense flavors of the lamb were too much for the wife and kids but I was in heaven. The fried rice was cooked to perfection with a nice delightful combo of veggies mixed in. The sweet and sour tilapia is why people lick plates, the perfect meeting place for the tongue to dance between the 2 opposing tastes with the fish cooked perfectly. The corn soup was ok more like cream corn. The hot and spicy soup was more hot then spicy ok. No Naan boo. The portions are sizable with affordable prices. There is some nice decor with an interesting wood crafted pic to view close to the fish tank to keep the kiddies busy. I met a friend here for dinner. I had been here once before, a couple of years ago. It had gotten very cool outside, but that didn't get communicated to management, who had the air conditioner on full blast. It was eventually lowered at my request, but that didn't stop us from shivering for a while. I don't know if it's house policy or it was just to warm us up, but the waiter brought us complimentary bowls of sweet corn soup even before we ordered. Not only was it delicious, it took the chill out of us pretty quickly. My friend and I shared Haka Noodles with Chicken, and a Malaysian Curry. I can't remember which of the four curries we chose, but we ordered it with lamb. The Hakka noodles were nothing special, very dry, not much spice. The curry, though, was delicious and the lamb was tender and flavorful, but it was a very salty dish. After reading reviews here, I ordered the curry on the less spicy side of medium, and the amount was just perfect. We thing it had just opened but the guy who took our order confirmed it had been around for 17 years!! Anywho, the 50 minutes turned to 1 hour 20 minutes and we were infuriated but kept our cool and patiently waited while other customers had meltdowns regarding the wait and rightfully so. We brought the food home and pleasantly surprised by how Amazing each dish tasted, bonus points that each dish had a unique seasoning unlike other typical Chinese restaurants where they add same sauce to all dishes.
