I really can't believe we hadn't tried Pad Thai StL previously...what a miss on our part. BUT NOW WE KNOW! We gave Pad Thai a go the other night and loved it. While many Thai places have gone to carry out only Pad Thai is a delightful restaurant, plenty of seating and great service. It was busy though so I can see how it would fill up. The staff works fast and they get everyone taken care of so all good. And the food...man, was it good! First, Pad Thai does serve alcohol so beer, wine and maybe (? Not certain) some mixed drinks are available. And our favorite Thai beer, Singha, was on the menu! Two please along with spring rolls...great way to start. My better half had pad Thai with tofu, no heat. I had drunken noodles with tofu lvl 3. Both were so good! My dish did not stand a chance, it was awesome and the heat level was perfect. My wife was able to take some of her pad Thai home for a nice lunch the following day. We are hooked and will become regulars. It's so nice to get great Thai food in a comfortable, clean setting with great service. Can't wait to go again.

I can't even explain in words how great our lunch was here. My in-laws brought us here while we were visiting this weekend. They love this place and I knew it was good when we walked in and the Friday lunch was almost full. So I tried the green macha tai tea and it was tasty! Then we ordered be crispy shrimp rolls. Really really good and could be addicting. My wife chose the pineapple fried rice and I ordered the L5 Drunken noodles with pork. Both of the dishes were extremely tasty. What really noticed was it took about 15-20 minutes to get our order but it was pricing hot, and I knew it was made fresh. Boy, did I notice that in every savory bite! We will be back everytime we visit now!

I consider my rating more around 3.5 rather than 4. Pad thai , as one would guess, is a Thai restaurant, nestled in South county. There is standard Americanized Thai fare, including, ofcourse, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles, which we got. The drunken noodles were chewy and freshly cooked. The chicken was unfortunately chewy and dry. The flavor leaned too sweet for the drunken noodles. I would consider the prices a little on the steeper side for the portion served with each entree at almost 16 dollars. There is vegan friendly section on the menu and also some dishes in a pan Asian theme like Gen Tso chicken, Udon noodles, which is helpful. The service was attentive despite how busy it was. Overall, given lack of good Thai food options in South county and St Louis county, Pad Thai is a reasonable restaurant to frequent. I'll have to try one of the Thai curries next time.

Pad Thai is my favorite place to go for Thai food in STL. Their service is always so friendly and fast. You can pick your spice level for a lot of things on their menu, which I love. My bf loves to get the thai teas they serve. We usually get thai fried rice, lo mein/pad thai. For meat, we usual get either General Tso or (my favorite) Garlic and Peppers with spice level 2. The portions are really good here, you can usually share any entree with another person and it will be very fulfilling. It's always clean when we go inside and they're usually always playing some cute music. I love how in warmer weather you have the option of sitting outside. Definitely give this place a try if you're craving Thai food!

Our friend lives in the area and we were craving some Thai food. She has not lived here for long so it was our first time ordering from here and it won't be our last. The food: we ordered chicken lettuce wraps, green curry with tofu, volcano fried rice with chicken, shrimp spring rolls, and pad see ew with beef. Most of our items were 2-3 level spicy. For drinks: I got a Thai tea. The portions were great and the food was great! We will be visiting this gem again and hopefully eating in very soon. Great local option!

Pad Thai St. Louis has the very best pad thai! Our pup accompanied us for lunch on their welcoming dog friendly patio. The duck curry, spring rolls & wings were all very tasty, this is one of our favorite places!

When we get there, we ordered chicken satay, fried rice and pork Pad Thai, we waited for 30 minutes for the chicken satay and asked my waitress twice, finally we got it and it's room temperature, we waited for another 35 minutes for fried rice and the noodles, fried rice stick together, I thought that's the sticky rice but it's regular white rice, the meat is room temperature and the noodles taste terrible, they put too much sugar in it, I asked for extra tofu, they didn't put it in, when I mentioned It, they took it back and just put it on top, the tofu still cold, I will never go back and can I give them one star I saw a couple came to the restaurant after us, they order appetizer, sushi and a curry dish, from order it to done with the dining only 35 minutes, and we stay there over one hour 45 minutes! Why?

YUMMM!! A hidden gem in South County! They have a great lunch special with a select menu, includes 2 crab rangoons or a spring roll. I've tried so many different options here, all for take out but the restaurant itself is very clean and has a good vibe. Takeout is super easy, you can order online for either curbside pickup or walk into the restaurant to pickup. My order is always ready when I arrive (within 30 mins). The Udon Noodle Special and Pad See Ew have been my favorite items! The General Tso's chicken is also delicious. There are different spice levels, I've tried all of them and they are honestly not tooooo hot, so don't be afraid of 3 or higher!

Bold statement but I think Pad Thai is the best Thai restaurant in STL! The service is fast and very friendly. The food is consistently amazing. The atmosphere is laidback and welcoming. I love their pad Thai, tom yum, and all of their curries! For my GF friends, you can eat most of the menu items!

We heard of this place for a while through friends. We decided to stop by during our weekend trip to Saint Louis, and it did not disappoint. It is located in a plaza with lot of parking spaces. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. Probably one of the cleanest Asian restaurant I have been in. t The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Joey. He was very attentive and made great recommendations of what we need to try. Also very funny to chitchat with. He made the dining experience enjoyable. We got a few dishes to try. Paid Thai was so good that we ordered another to go for "just incase we get hungry" later. The papaya salad with salted crab was packed with flavor and spices. I love the freshness of the papaya and assorted vegetables. Thai tea had the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend.

Karee (curry) puffs are a must!!! My favorite thing we tried for sure. We got the veggie option and the pastry was perfection. The savory filling dipped in a little bit of the sweet and sour sauce is divine. Also had the veggie fried rice (I would go spicier next time. We got a 3 and it wasn't spicy at all), but good flavor nonetheless. Got the Siam curry (level 2 and felt the spice on this one). Good flavor! Great amount of veggies. read more

Went to the restaurant and ordered Egg fried rice . I received my food. There were NO veggies just rice, egg and shrimp. Also in one particular spot it was very tacky and gummy as if someone spit in my food. I went inside to speak with someone. They stated that the egg fired rice doesn't come with veggies. I showed them the picture on their website that showed veggies. He continue to argue and say that it doesn't come with it. I requested my money back and I will not be returning their. I will stick with Sen! False advertisement and my food felt tampered with as well. Not cool read more

This is my and my fiance's favorite Thai restaurant in the St. Louis area. Everything I've ever had there has been great, they really do a good job. The food is excellent, and they will make is as spicy or mild as you like, and, like their food, they really get that right too. So often I ask for my food at other restaurants to be "a little spicy" but I can't taste the spice at all; if Im not lucky I will get food too hot. Pad Thai delivers the exact level of spice you ask for (they ask you how spicy you want it on a scale from 1-5). In addition to the food being good, its also very reasonably priced; many entrees are under $10. Their signature dish, the Pad Thai, is very good and my fiance's favorite. I also like the cashew nut noodles and the basil stir fry. They also have several curry dishes, veggie dishes, noodle dishes and fried rice. Some dishes have seafood, while most of the rest give you a choice of chicken, beef, pork or shrimp. Their appetizers are good too - they serve egg rolls and spring rolls, which are different. I forget which is which, but one is thin, fried and crispy, and the other is soft noodles with carrots and cilantro wrapped in rice paper, like you'd find at a Vietnamese restaurant. Both are good. I also always get the Thai iced tea when I go. I never order iced tea at other restaurants, but I make a point of getting it here. If you've never had it, try it. We used to drive from the suburbs into the city to The King and I for Thai food, but we are just as happy eating here. Their food is just as good, if not better, and for a lower price too. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

Great food but slow service. Their success has over whelmed them. Placed a pick up order at 5:00 PM. Told it would not be ready until 5:50. Walked in at 6:05, and there were over 25 people there, all waiting for pick up orders. The girl waiting on us did not even have the common sense to take our names and then go back into the kitchen to see if it was ready. Until we suggested she do so, she was simply waiting on the customer closest to the counter. It is now 6:40 PM and I am still waiting. There are still 13 others also waiting. Until they learn to handle the crowds, prepare yourself for epic waits. read more

Best thai food in Saint Louis! Love the pad thai, you can even get it with duck. Fresh spring rolls and edamame are great sides and there also a nice sampler appetizer platter. Overall, a little more like Northern Thailand flavor. I wish I lived closer to there, I'd go every week, delicious! read more

Two words; hidden gem. I absolutely love this place. The food never fails to wow me every time. And ever since they got remodeled I've been wanting to come here every day and hopefully my schedule will allow me to become a regular whether I am digging into a full course meal or just to sit down and drink some tea while reading a book or to study. Went here w a friend and colleague. The pad thai was decent but nothing that great for flavor. Got the appetizer sampler and it was ok but again not great. However their sauces were spot on. The plum wine was almost sickeningly sweet. Thai iced tea was good. The service was kind but our waitress struggled a bit w her english. Decent asian but not the beat I have had. read more

The Caliente roll was really good and full of flavor. The service made the experience even better. The server was attentive, friendly, and quick without feeling rushed. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable, making it a great spot to actually enjoy your meal. For the price and quality, this place really stands out. Definitely a go-to for sushi in STL.

I only ended up ordering 3 rolls and a few 1-piece sushis because I was so stuffed! You do have to wait awhile after ordering sushi for them to prepare the rolls, so order earlier if you know you want to try other rolls. There's a 2-hour limit after you're seated. And don't forget the deep-fried Oreos--my friend ate 8 of them because they were so good!! I tried the sugar biscuit too and it reminded me of a dense beignet.

As a South County native, I was a little apprehensive about Thai food off of Tesson Ferry. However, Pad Thai has proved to me that you do not need to go to Grand Ave to find some great Thai dishes. The tom ka gai soup was flavorful, but could have used a few more vegetables. The green curry, however, was a standout. Rich, complex, and spicy it is what a curry should be.
