They call it Thai Asian "Cuisine," but not sure there's anything cuisine about it. It is a cute, Thai place you'd find in many strip malls now and is quaint and clean, and their menu was promising, but it does not deliver that Thai Food experience. I wanted to grab a few items for lunch, and I love having some Thai street food, which equates to appetizers at most Thai restaurants, so I ordered a few apps. They were not good. 1. Fried Calamari - it was soaked in oil and not pleasant to eat. 2. Chicken Satay - bland and dry AF, and the peanut dipping sauce, meant to compliment it, was soupy and bland. 3. Grilled Pork (Moo Ping) - was ok. Probably, the only item that saved it from a 1-star. 4. Spring Rolls (Egg Roll) - I didn't know fried food could be so bland. I needed to soak it in the sweet chili dipping sauce to even eat it. 5. Sticky Rice - it was fine. I mean, this item is hard to mess up. All above for 90+ US dollars. That's about 2700+ Thai Baht! When street food items in Thailand costs between 30-100 Thai Baht, because it's meant to be accessible to everyone. Anyhow, I digress, everything fried was drenched in cooking oil, and mind you I did not get any main entrees, so maybe I'm wrong about their food? But if the appetizers are a bit sub par, who's to say how their main dishes would taste. We live 2 hours out of St Louis and go to Siteman center near this place twice a year. For a long time I wanted to try this place and we finally did. It is one of the best Thai foods we have had. Every food we got tasted delicious. And it was very clean, particularly the facilities. And the service was good. I highly recommend this place to any "high calorie" individual like me who loves a good Asian food. We'll try to go to this place from now on every time we get to St louis. read more

This place was pretty good. It's a small family owned restaurant with excellent service. There's not a lot of seating, can fit maybe 30 people maximum. However, the service is impeccable, very nice and quick. We got a few different dishes - papaya salad, pad Thai, Tom kha soup, and a spicy fried rice. My favorite dish was the papaya salad - the flavor was fresh, lemony, and used real chili rather than chili flakes. We got very spicy but it was manageable.. resembled a bite into a Thai chili. Went on Thursday around 12:30 pm. There was 1 man waiting (sitting near register) for take out, and another lady ready to order take out. There was no one dining in. Male staff, who I remember took my order the last time I came in June, came from the kitchen (back) to take her order, then went back to cook -- there was no one else working. After the waiting man's order came & was paid, staff took my order and went back to kitchen. My Tod Mun Pla (Thai Fish Cakes/ ) came out within 10 min, with a GrubHub pickup in between. While this Tod Mun is not home made or fresh, likely frozen & reheated, It satisfies my craving. I have not been able to find/ buy good frozen Thai Tod Mun from Pan Asia in the past year. They are selling a brand that does not taste good. Global Foods does not sell any either. This restaurant is near my house, so I'll shell out $7.51 every few months. I do wonder if this restaurant will be able to stay open with so few customers. read more

Had Thai Asian Cuisine doordashed twice recently. A little tame on flavors but overall not too bad. My biggest issue is they show the 'shrimp rolls' to be fresh spring roll style when in reality it's these little wonton wrapped deep fried shrimps. First time thought they just made a mistake, but second time it came wrong as well (or at least not matching the image on the doordash menu.) Please correct that for future reference! read more

I have been here before and it was ok. Not sure how long ago new owners took over but there are still signs about not taking Groupons the old owners were responsible for. Order at the counter and wait then pay for your food when it's done. Cute inside, small, cozy space. FYI. Although the menu does not indicate it that I could find, the lunch special that adds a crab Rangoon and egg roll to your order isn't available on weekends. Due to the above, I opted to just order an appetizer as I was just giving this spot another shot after being disappointed last time ordering. I wasn't looking to spend that much on lunch. I ordered pot stickers. The ended up being the fried variety and not the version that is more of a dumpling. I figured they were different when my order was ready in a few minutes and normally for pot stickers it's minimum ten minutes. They were fine. I did not care for the sauce at all. I ordered the duck fried rice, with the spice level 5 ,expecting some powerful spice but instead I got bland rice with no spice and duck with bones inside the rice . We were staying at a nearby hotel as we passed through town and we needed some dinner. We consulted Yelp and saw this highly rated Thai place across the street so we walked on over. It was early so the place was empty but in a short time at least four more tables were occupied. Not much atmosphere but not a surprise nor an issue. We were quickly given menus and we put in our order. I could have used a beer but not alcohol is served here - no big deal. We ordered the fresh spring rolls - they were huge and tasty! I placed an order for delivery and the order was never confirmed. They completely ignored it and I never got my money back. The man had such poor English that I couldn't get a single word out of him. Pretty good. We arrived and ordered to go. Yelp pics showed the sold sushi, but online ordering did not. We arrived to double check and I confirm their menu does not have sushi. I got the pho bowl which was just ok, lots of meat, but flavor was average. I also got the fried dumplings and those were really good!! Another couple got the general tso chicken and said it was one of the best they've had. My boyfriend got a spicy noodle bowl and said it was good. The wait wasn't too long, maybe 12 minutes? A thoroughly adequate culinary experience. I had the spicy eggplant stir fry with chicken (gluten free). It came with a lot of eggplant, but the chunks were inordinately large making it a little awkward to eat. They were cooked entirely through but they were just so big and the temperature was hot. I wish they'd given me a knife, but nobody ever came back to the kitchen whole. The peppers should have been cooked a little longer. Flavor was okay. I would not call what it spicy though. It was medium at absolute most. My husband enjoyed the bbq pork fried rice but he was also lacking in spice. Service was not exceptional but not bad. Nobody ever refilled our waters so don't drink yours all at once. Also nobody ever came or offered a knife or anything. It was just a little awkward trying to figure out whether it was a counter restaurant or service restaurant. Staff was very polite and accommodating however. Ambiance was a little awkward to me since there was no music or anything. You could just hear everyone's conversations. Like I said, a thoroughly adequate experience. My wife is gluten free and they had a great understanding of what that meant. We shared the Pad Thai and the Penang Curry. We also had the papaya salad. Everything was good. We felt that the salad was really good. Very tasty! The other dishes were ok. Better than some and not as good as others. This place started off with good veggie egg rolls, and quick to deliver food right behind it. I had the veggie Thai and everyone else went Thai fried rice this round and no complaints at all. Very tasty but if I could give one good order of advice, it's this, up your spice level one level here because anything less you won't have any spice.
