My experience here was ok. My friend and I wanted to sit at the two-seater table by the window, but we were told "That's not convenient." So we sat at the table next to it (and watched other guests take a seat there about five minutes later). When I moved half of our two-seater table away because I hate feeling like I'm waiting for people who never show, the same person said, "Are you OK?" The food was decent. We wanted a lunch special, but evidently those aren't offered on Sundays. The hostess/waitress didn't seem to think she had been rude, but it affected my experience, their tip, and future business. Visited this place for Lunch Special and found that the meals were decently priced. $7.75 for each dish that usually cost $8.99, and it includes soup of the day! Steal. Pictures from Yelp Reviews of this place certainly did not disappoint!! Compared to other pictures of Thai dishes in the surrounding area, Pad Thai had them BEAT. I took a few pics of my own to aid other Yelp reviewers. The meals aren't drenched in curry. Everything was presented quite nicely. Since they ran out of soup of the day, they offered us either crab rangoon / eggroll. The crab rangoon was pretty good. Eggroll was just OK. Meal also came with a spice rack that had peanuts, crushed red pepper, jalapenos, and chilli. Here is what we got: + Pineapple Fried Rice: delicious! It was a smaller portion than I was used to in Texas, but much bigger than other Thai restaurants around the area. Beef was really tender. + Chicken Pad Thai: chicken was really dry, rubbery, and hard. Not very edible. I would spend the extra dollar on the beef. But other than the chicken, it was really good pad thai. + Pho Beef: Very HUGE portion. It doesn't have the distinct Vietnamese taste of a pho broth, but hey, the broth was still decent! + Orange Chicken: Good, but sauce reminiscent of really thick oyster sauce. Not enough orange taste. Love the outer layer of the chicken, though. Chicken from this dish not as dry / rubbery as the one used in Pad Thai. Great place thats off the beaten path, but well worth the drive if you are living in the metro area. Dependable and friendly service every time that I eat here. It's super big inside, but if there is a small wait, I'd recommend you stay around and wait it out. If it's nice outside you could also sit outside. After an MRI today I stopped at Pad Thai for lunch. I started with the Shumai (pork dumplings) which were excellent with the dipping sauce. My entree was the Shrimp Pad Pug, a mixture of veg and shrimp in a clear sauce. The rice that came with it was cold, the baby corn and mushrooms tasted a little like tin. The worst part was the seating. There are 4 tables that would seat 4 people but the rest of the seating is a long bench on the wall with single and double tables next to each other with chairs on the opposite side. The tables are so close together that when a guy came to get onto the bench seat next to me, his butt bumped my hand as I was putting it in my mouth. I dont mind a table slightly close but I could hear these people chewing. Take out one table and give the others a few extra inches. I would not go back unless I was with 2 or 3 others so we could snag a normal table. read more

Both of them are awesome. The skin of the spring roll is great. two main orders: combination of fried rice and beef noodle. Sometimes Thai food is in sour and sweet taste which I don't like. My very first Thai food experience. This was an amazing culinary experience. The food was very flavorful. I didn't know what I wanted, so I tried three different things. A half order of Tom Yum Soup (vegetable), Sauteed Mixed Vegetables with no meat, and Drunken Noodles. Total was $27.95 with tax. This place is evidently very popular for to-go orders as well as eat in. It is very small, but very clean and cozy. Took my bf and nephews to this restaurant one evening about an hour and a half before closing. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared them all, family style. We got the appetizer combo, plus chicken wings appetizer. The entrees were Pineapple fried rice with chicken, green curry with chicken, pad thai with beef and either a special or something I am having a hard time recalling, but it was a beef stir-fry dish with a fried egg over the rice? It was everyone's favorite! The breakdown.... Apps: Crab rangoon were enjoyable and so were the wings. Everyone seemed to enjoy the appetizers but nothing stood out too much on the combo platter. However people jokingly fought over the last wing! They were pretty great. Crunchy and the sauce wasn't too pungent or too tangy or anything. I thought the spring rolls were a little so-so and had kind of tough interior veggies. Entrees: Our favorites were the pineapple fried rice and the stir-fry dish with the egg over the rice. We also really enjoyed the pad thai but those who were less familiar with thai food enjoyed that dish more than I did. People didn't eat the curry very well, but I expected that when I ordered it. Curries take time getting used to, in my experience. I thought the green curry spice mix could have been a bit richer in complexity of flavor. I wouldn't order it again but would try one of the other curries instead. Also had teas, thai iced teas and sodas. The thai iced tea was especially good if you're expecting it. I ordered one for my nephew and even he liked his and had never had one before. Service: The staff as helpful, attentive and answered all of our questions pleasantly and was very understanding of any and all our special requests. Hubs and I had been talking about trying this place for months. It was late on a Saturday night and we thought we'd try it. So, so, so glad we did!!! First experience was fantastic!! The place is clean and the decor is nice, calming even. They weren't busy, we were seated right away and our waitress came over immediately. We told her we'd never been and she welcomed us. Hubs had never tried curry and was unsure about it. The waitress offered a small sample with the "heat/spice" that he desired. It was so good and he loved it! The choices are outstanding and provide a variety for anyone into Asian food. The prices are tilted toward the high side, but well worth it. Pad Thai is in a small strip mall off of Tesson Ferry in Soco. It's not a big place and is frequently crowded during dinner hours. I'm not what I would consider a Thai connoisseur, but I do know good food. I have been to 3 different Thai places here in St. Louis. I think this is tied for the best that I've had. The portions are big and very delicious!! I love the pad see ewe here. I've tried some of the more vegetable heavy dishes and discovered I really like those as well. The sauce is awesome!!!
