This was an excellent on-a-whim choice on a winter evening! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Intimate and hearty with great service (shoutout to Evanna)![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For my protein lovers - you must try the beef jerky. It is tender and flavorful and pairs really well with the tamarind base of the dipping sauce. The Khao Soi was new to me and a lovely surprise of layers - from the simmered coconut milk to the mustard green and pickles (get it spicy and don't forget the quick squeeze of lime!) I would dine here again!

Came in and service was top notch- everyone was truly so kind right off the bat. Once we got seated and ordered, the food came out very quickly and was really fresh. The spring rolls and crab rangoons were delicious, as well as the pad Thai. The price to portions ration was extremely good and everything had great flavor. There is so much on the menu I want to go back to try. They also had lots of vegetarian options which is great!

Picked up carry out. Requested 7pm. Was ready at 710. Staff was friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small space indoors. Patio is cute with lights for ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Apps- potstickers steamed, spring rolls Had pad thai hot. Tasty. Not too peanuty or tomatoey. Panang curry hot. This was best dish in my opinion. Coconut milk based curry. Pineapple Fried rice mild. Not alot of flavor. Prik pao cashew mild. Hot was spicy enough for me. They offer thai hot for those wanting super spicy!

Flavor lives here at Meyou Thai in Webster Groves. We kicked things off with the shrimp rolls, hot, and crispy. Then I got the larb salad and subbed in shrimp, because I'm living that #StLouisPescatarianApproved life. Whatever spice mix they're using? It's citrusy, spicy, herby, and downright addictive. Ace got the drunken noodles with shrimp, which were also fantastic, but I didn't really notice because I was too into my salad that I did NOT share. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is an unassuming small eatery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is fantastic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was wonderful. Welcoming and willing to answer questions.

A friend suggested this place for dinner and it was a good choice! She's only ever had takeaway and we dined in this time and sat at the patio. Service was quick, the food came out fast! Portions are decent for the price (we even had enough to bring home). I ordered the kra pao and she had the green curry. Kra pao - This was not bad although I wish it had more of the basil flavour. I got the medium since I wasn't sure how spicy it would be (I can handly my spice so I'll probably get the spicy next time). 4/5 Green curry - I enjoyed this one more! The aubergine alone tasted great and it had nice flavour. 5/5 Great spot! Would come back here again next time.

Came here with a few friends and it was fine overall. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is super small inside, maybe fits around 15 people max.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is pretty simple but has all the basics you'd expect. We ordered wings as an appetizer and I know is kind of random for a Thai place, but they were actually pretty good. I got the chicken pad Thai and it was too sweet for my taste and kind of grainy? Hard to explain. I was starving so I still ate it but it wasn't my favorite pad Thai. The waitress was really nice and a bit shy. Overall, it was okay. Nothing bad, just neutral. I'd recommend it if you're nearby, but it's not in my top five Thai spots.

My favorite place for thai food and you have to dine in when you try it! I got it to-go once and I felt like the quality wasn't great (keep in mind that I'm about a 25 minute drive away, so your choice). I love dining in, the food comes out hot and fresh. It takes a bit (maybe 15-20 minutes) for the food to come out. But, I always enjoy the company when dining in. Their quality of food is great, and my favorite thing to order is the pad see ew with beef. The pad thai is a second best with chicken. I've also gotten the crab fried rice, green curry with tofu, yellow curry with chicken, and pineapple fried rice. I keep the dishes at a 3 or a medium. And I have loved every dish!

I visited for the first time on a Friday night and ordered online for takeout. My confirmation email shared that my order would be ready in about approximately 20 minutes, and it was ready to go in 20 minutes on the dot! Their system for keeping track of orders seemed very organized and efficient. Employees were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself was packed. Nearly every table was full! Takeout came in durable plastic containers. I ordered the Pad See Eew with no egg, and my partner had the Crispy Chicken with medium spice level. We both loved our meals, and I thought the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality! We also really enjoyed their Crab Rangoon. I also noticed that none of our food was super greasy, which I particularly loved. I'll be back soon!

first time trying thai in stl and i was not disappointed! the service was great and they have both an inside and outside eating area. the spices added to the food made it feel like authentic thai. would reorder the pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles!

As much as I hate to say this, I feel it is needed. I wrote THE very first review for Meyou when they first opened. I included pictures of the menu. I would have given a 10 star rating then. Having not been back for 8 months as we moved out of town, we were excited to eat here as one of our favorites in STL. We learned that new owners have taken it over after ordering. I'm not sure why they chose to change excellent recipes, but alas, they had. We ordered the Pad Thai with veggies and the Penang with tofu. The Pad Thai was not as rich tasting, but still good. Unfortunately, we had to send back the Penang as it was like soup. There was some flavor, but nothing as good as it was earlier in 2024. Previously, the Penang would come out with exquisite flavors, but the recipe was changed. This dish was no longer over the top, but now just a run of the mill average Thai dish. The server was awesome and understood the issue we had explained. So no issues in having it deleted from our check. We had very high expectations and maybe that was our mistake, and not the restaurants fault as this is now how the new owners do it. If we ever go back, we will ask the question about if the dish is soupy or thick. Oh well, this is a really hard business to maintain. I truly wish the new owners the best of luck!!

I randomly wanted to eat Thai this Sunday. The place that I wanted to go to was close so I found this place while searching Thai places to eat. Parking here is kind of harder to find since it is mostly street parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place has both inside and patio seatings. We opted for inside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My boyfriend got the Drunken noodle, while I got the kao soi entree. I also got the Cha Ma-now drink. This is Thai tea with lime instead of milk. It does taste unique but I would definitely just order the regular thai tea at my next visit since I am more familiar with that taste. The spice levels have several options. I picked mild for the Kao soi and my boyfriend picked medium for his entree. If you don't want spicy, the mild was prefect for me on this particular day. The portion size is great. The waitress lady does check on us pretty often.

Service was nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outside seating is nice for good weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sad I didn't find a papaya salad option on the menu. Pineapple fried rice was seasoned with some curry powder. Duck red curry was good but sweet from the coconut milk. Drunken noodles was my favorite dish of the three. When they say spicy, they mean it, so be careful. Overall, good experience. Would come back

    Are most dishes spicy?

I always get the Drunken Noodles and they can be made without spiciness! I ask for mild and I wouldn't call them spicy (and I don't love spicy food). I suspect many dishes could be made without spice at all since they make each dish to order.

Came in on a Wednesday night and we were able to grab a seat pretty quickly. Service was fast and our waitress was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. They have a wide variety of drinks and cocktails on their menu. As well as some good options for a non-meat eaters that are seafood based. I also saw a few veggie options. I tried the pad Thai with shrimp and overall the dish was very good. They use jumbo shrimp for their pot Thai, which was extra tasty and the food came out nice and hot and fast! The portion size was great. I had plenty to eat at the restaurant and enough to take home as well. I look forward to visiting again.

Upon entering, there is a sandwich board advertising drinks and seasonal specials, such as mango sticky rice. It seemed to be a two-person operation on the weeknight we went. You check in with the host, who appeared to be taking turns serving guests with one other woman. I believe they have happy hour from 4 pm-6 pm on weekdays. We had waters, and I ordered a piña colada while my beau ordered a strawberry lemonade margarita. My friend ordered some appetizers for our table: spring rolls and Thai wings. The spring rolls arrived neatly plated atop green lettuce with a very loose dipping sauce, while the wings arrived perfectly crispy and hot with a thicker sauce that was slightly spicy. On the table, they had plenty of red chili flakes as well as a spicy sauce that we added to our wing sauce for more spice. I would say the chicken wings needed a pinch of sea salt. I ordered the Thai Fried Rice with chicken, my friend ordered Thai Fried Rice with shrimp (a pro--they remove the shells from the tails), and my beau ordered Spicy Kee Mao Noodles with beef. Every dish was hot, fragrant, colorful, and delicious. The meat was tender in every dish, with pops of color from bell peppers. However, service was very slow. At first, there was hardly anyone there, and then tables filled up quickly. Even before then, we had to flag a server down for various things: napkins, etc. My friend ordered some food to go for her son, and it did not come with utensils or napkins, so she had to ask for some. We also had to flag a server down just to get our bill. Once paid, on the way out, I saw the biggest roach I have ever seen. It was lying on its back, dead but still. I'm so glad I saw it after and not before dinner because otherwise, I would not have dined there. Based on parts of my experience, I am doubtful about returning.
