Pretty good Veggie Pad Thai for the take-out. Fresh vegetables & tasty sauce came in a plentiful recyclable container. Also optes to try half order of vegetable egg rolls which came 2 to an order with sweet & sour sauce. Service was prompt & pleasant. Located in a South County strip mall parking isn't an issue. Very yummy. Right when I think I've found a new favorite Thai place this gem came along and blew all other restaurants out of the running. I had to ask them what voodoo they did back there in the kitchen because the curry was out of this world. One of the few places that actually grinds their own spices for their curry bases and you can definitely tell. Small shout out to the Thai iced tea too. Careful with the spice level; I can handle spice but two was really spicy. Not sure what five would feel like. read more

We just tried this place since it's near Vetta, where we are every weekend. My normal favorite Thai places are far from my house, and I crave Thai more often than I can get it. It was easy to order online ahead of time, and the food was ready and hot when we arrived. I got a curry, which was good with veggies. My favorite is Masaman, which they didn't have. The veggie egg rolls were also very good. My husband liked the crab rangoon, but he thought the Pad see ew could have been better. He would try something else next time. First time back after their remodel in April 2021, and larger space is very nice! Last time we can was during indoor dining closures so we ate outside on their patio (in warmer weather). I don't remember the ajaad (cucumber & bell pepper salad in vinegar) that comes with chicken satay being such a tiny portion. We also didn't get peanut sauce, but didn't say anything because it's not a big deal. Other restaurants definitely give more ajaad. My "Noodle Delight" special was nicely sauced, but the chicken was dry, as it was in all our other orders. Not pictured were Sauteed Mixed Vegetables with Chicken and Pad Woon Sen -- the latter was mostly noodle, not enough pork or veggies for the price. read more

We ordered a bunch of appetizers and all of the food was great all around (lettuce wrap was probably the best). My main entree was even better. The service was great as well. Wow wow wow. Easily the best Thai food we've ever had was served to us here. Granted, we're not the /most/ experienced Thai connoisseurs, but we've eaten our fair share, and this is the best we've tried by far. Don't let the strip mall location deter you; enter the restaurant and be greeted by friendly, prompt service and wonderful smells from the kitchen window. It's a nicely decorated place, although the tables are a touch close together. We started with the potstickers. They came with a ginger soy dipping sauce, which was positively delicious. Sweet and savory with a tiny tiny kick at the end. The potstickers themselves were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. For our entrees, we had the Red Curry and the Pad See Ew. The red curry's level of spiciness was appropriate for what we asked. The portion of rice was perfect. The dish itself was very rich, with a slightly sweet coconut milk base, fresh veggies, and perfectly cooked chicken. My pad see ew was far and away the best version of the dish I've ever had. The flavor balance between savory and sweet was perfect, the noodles were neither too soft nor too hard, and they gave me plenty of broccoli and egg mixed in. The chicken was obviously high quality and not over cooked at all, which I've had problems with at a few other Thai restaurants. My Thai tea was beautifully presented in a glass size that I would say is large compared to other portions of the beverage I've been given before. If you're anywhere in the neighborhood, I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. It's the closest thing to a perfect meal we've had in a very long time. read more

Had lunch here a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time eating at Pad Thai but but based on the crowd a lot of folks love this place. We were having a late lunch so no wait for a table. They do have lunch specials too. I enjoyed my pineapple fried rice. My nephew loved his pineapple curry. They also had another of my favorites: flower teA. Which in reality is just hot honey and water. Ha. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. read more

My husband and I stopped here on our way through Missouri! I randomly stumbled across their page while looking through Yelp. It was one of those days I was craving Asian and Thai sounded amazing. The staff was so friendly once we arrived. Since we were on a road trip and didn't want to eat in the car, they had small patio that they let us sit with our dog and even turned the heater on for us! We started with the Spring Rolls. I forgot to take a picture but honestly they were not what I was thinking. I was wanting a an egg roll with vegetables but these were more of an lettuce wrap. They didn't have much flavor as there wasn't much to it! My husband ordered the Orange Chicken with Fried Rice and really enjoyed his meal. The portion was huge and I tasted the fried rice and it was amazing!!! I ordered the vegetarian Drunken Noodles with Fried Tofu. It was good.. I finished the whole thing. If I went back I would order the fried rice again as my meal. That was the best thing I tried! It make me happy to see the place so busy with to-go orders on a Tuesday night at 5pm!! read more

First time here and we were very impressed! The service was fast, full menu of options and everything was delicious, and fresh! Our kids loved the chicken fried rice. We had the lettuce wraps and pot stickers for appetizers which were fantastic. Our kids loved those and ate them as well! My daughter had the drunken noodles and my husband had the duck curry. This place has undeniably my favorite crab Rangoon in the County. Their prices are a little steep so I went in today for lunch planning to get the lunch special (a variety of mains with eggroll and Rangoon) I spent several minutes debating which main to order on my lunch special. When I was decided and got the attention of the server, I was told "no lunch special on weekends". I double checked the menu and pointed out to him that it didn't say weekdays only he just shrugged and repeated himself. Sonia ended up with just soup and pot stickers which they deep fried. I had wanted the traditional where they are crispy on one side and soft on the other...then they brought me steamed...no crispy at all. Disappointing and pricey. I will keep looking. read more

Regular customer, and the food is delicious. However, when you order online you specify pickup time. I have done this twice and both times they were 15 minutes late. Today, (10:45 pickup) there was only one customer so they were not busy. I suspect they start cooking the order when you arrive; which does not respect your time. read more

What a delightful surprise! We're not from this area...visiting my cousin who is currently a patient at Mercy South Hospital and knew we needed to find somewhere to eat. Pad Thai is located less than a mile away! The weather was beautiful so we chose to sit outside, it was a nice experience though there was some road noise. The wait staff promptly greeted us and then brought us water and menus. We started with spring rolls that were so fresh and yummy, impressed already, though I do wish I'd remembered to order them with shrimp added. I did notice someone left a review that they were disappointed because they had really wanted crispy egg rolls and felt they ended up with lettuce wraps. Traditionally fresh spring rolls are uncooked fresh, shedded veggies wrapped in rice paper wrappers and that is exactly what we were served. My main meal (pictured) was the Thai Ginger with shrimp, snowpeas, green onion as well as regular onion, fresh mushrooms, red pepper, fresh shredded ginger and white steamed rice, prepared to a heat level of 3. It was perfection, with a wonderfully spice and taste profile. All the ingredients were extremely fresh and cooked to a lovely crispness. My husband had the Udon noodles with pork, onions, carrots, broccoli and bean sprouts. He was very happy with his also... his sauce was a bit sweeter than mine but I believe that is also traditional. The prices were very reasonable and that impressed us too! We loved our dinner and the courteous, attentive wait staff. Hope to enjoy another meal there in the future. read more

We have been here many times. Always have been wonderful! I usually give 5 stars. This time we tried the Papaya Salad along with other items. We asked for a small amount of spice, 1.5 on the scale for the dish. It came and it basically had no flavor. It was pure fish sauce. No spice or sweetness, no tomatoes, just pretty boring. Upon saying this to the waiter he took it back and said this is how it is made and later told us that he could have added some thing to make it better, but thought we wanted zero spice. Later he informed us that it would be half price and would still need to pay. So we said, we want it back then. He told us it was thrown away and so took the whole thing off our bill. So obviously there was a communication issue. The waiter is a regular and knows his stuff, and very good. So we don't know how it all went down wrong. Anyhow, the Pad Thai is always the best in STL. Beware of the papaya salad, that's all I'm saying. My wife had the GF Pad Thai and it was very different from mine. It was quite oily on the bottom, while my regular Pad Thai was not at all and incredibly good. My wife thought it was way too oily and bad. This is hands down one of my new obsessions in St. Louis. The lunch specials during the week are under $10 and most entrees are served with soup on top of the already giant serving. The veggies are always fresh, the curry is wonderful and has a 1-5 heat scale rating but honestly, the name stands true to what menu item you should order: Pad Thai.
