My husband and I ordered a cake for a 50th birthday. It was absolutely amazing. Everyone could not get enough of how fresh, light, delicious and beautiful it was. We told them not to make it overly sweet and they did exactly as we asked. Despite the language barrier the staff was able to get it exactly as we ordered it. Irresponsible Business Bakery forgot to make my order of a cake for for 80 people that was for my mom's 70th big birthday celebration. Got there 2 hours prior to the party to pick up the cake, and they said there was a miscommunication between the owner Vinicios, who took my order and payment 2 weeks in advance, and the kitchen. So there was no cake. We had to rush to Bj's. Very unreliable business starting from the owner. I don't trust them or the food they make. I really enjoyed the sweet bread and the passion fruit juice. The juice comes in one size of 16oz. The prices are extremely reasonable. 75 cents for one sweet bread roll! Can't get any better! Super reasonable prices. The sweet bread is very fresh and I bought it in the late afternoon. Definitely my new go to Brazilian bakery since I moved to the area. I recommend the coxhinas, any of the sweet breads, mingau mousse, and passion fruit juice. I will definitely be trying the cakes next. I stopped in here today and was planning on getting a few things and hanging out while I waited for an appointment. I was in front of the counter checking stuff out and waiting for the girl right in front of me to acknowledge me so I could order. The whole time she didn't say hi, didn't look at me, and continued stocking the kitchen as if I wasn't there. Very rude. So I eventually turned around and left. There were only two other people in the whole place at tables so it's not like it was busy and there was confusion or anything. If you don't want business, it's all the same to me. We are new to the neighborhood and went in yesterday on a whim. The woman at the counter was so nice. We told her we had never been before. She recommended different items and explained what everything was. We asked about almost everything in the case. We were there around 11am, everything we got was warm and fresh. Pastry can be deep fried up to order and the cheese one is pretty good. The chicken balls are good and so is the kibe. The cold chicken salad pie is amazing and I also like their juices. Problem is the place is overpriced, and the Baked pastries are just not good. They also serve lunch, ice cream, they cater and make burgers. The place was completely remodeled about a year ago so it looks pretty nice. Went to this place today looking for something new. I am a small business owner and I seek out local, small businesses to support and recommend. I walked in and the aroma was heavenly. It was extremely busy and everyone looked satisfied and happy. I waited in the line with my sister and we were excited to pick out goodies for the day. Well, that didn't happen. When it was our turn in line, the 2 people behind the counter, passed right by us and waited on the next two people in line. When I tried to get their attention to place our order, it was very clear not only were they not going to take our order, but they wouldn't even look at us. We left very upset and disheartened by this experience. Although we are both white, we are from a large multicultural, multiracial family and have never experienced this before. I will never set foot back in this place. I will take my hard earned money where my business is appreciated. read more

I ordered a flan (custard-like dessert) 3 days in advance (through the manager no less!) for a dinner party at a friend's house.Went to pick it up last night on my way to the dinner party & was told the manager forgot to write the order.So NO FLAN. They convinced me to buy a cocunut covered dulce de leche roll that looked good. When we cut into it at the party IT WAS STALE! It tasted worse than a 4 day-old cake! I am Brazilian and this cafe is my bread and butter. The staff is nice, the place is warm and welcoming and they've done some wonderful decorations in the place. There is no Sundays without Coxinahs, beijinhos, and pao de queijo but be forewarned they get busy on weekends.
