Such a cute shop tucked away in Little Brazil, Toronto. Very welcoming environment upon entry. The lady behind the counter helped us choose the two tarts in the photo included. One is a passion fruit tart, the other is a chocolate one. Quite rich and delicious. Would recommend & will be back soon!

Cute little cafe and my first experience of a Brazilian cafe and food. Tried a Coxinha ( Cheese fritter) and a decaf latte. All good and tasty. Friendly service as well.

One of my favourite cafes in Toronto. I usually make my coffee at home but I always find myself at padaria for their Pingado (coffee with milk). It's made just how I like it - smooth and easy drinking, perfect over ice or hot. They also have a wide variety of baked goods both sweet and savoury and everything I've had so far has been delicious. The seating can be somewhat packed on weekends, they also have a small patio out front. I've tried a few of the coffee shops in the area and I always find myself coming back to Padaria.

****Posting to same review for both locations*** I have never been here but I was gifted the most delectable chocolate Easter egg. It was amazing. The chocolate was melt in your mouth. Smooth and decadent. And it was too pretty to eat. It's impressive the work involved to make this work of art. Will definitely come to check out their other goodies!! Glad they have 2 locations!

A new Brazilian bakery. With fresh, frozen and some Brazilian groceries to take home as well. I went around the lunch hour so it definitely had customers around enjoying the food. I tried quite a few goodies. The classics like the Brazilian cheese bread, the quiche, the French bread, the flan, their cream cheese and the coffee! As well as trying some of the groceries that were available. Definitely, for me the star was the coxinha. Made with chicken ...delicious. my favourite thing and it was warm too. They were friendly and service was pretty fast.

We ordered the passionfruit and guava smoothie to go. We tried our best to mix the drink with the paper straw, but it ripped since there was a lot of ice cubes in the drinks. Drink was unique and yummy, I'm not sure if the ice was supposed to be blended but it would have tasted better if it was and it would have made the drink colder on this hot summer day. Also ordered 2 buns, one sausage (tasty, well filled) and the other one cheese (basic option) both buns had a tough exterior. The staff are amazing, very friendly!

I had never tried Brazilian snacks before Padaria so I had no idea what to expect. So far everything I've tried has been amazingly tasty. Potato bun - the one with cream cheese and sausage (tasted like pepperoni) was so rich and delicious yet the bun was fluffy Mini eclairs - the lime one is TO DIE FOR, perfect balance of the creamy custard and rich lime zest Pastel - rich and cheesy fried snack Hot chocolate - deep chocolate flavour, not too sweet They have a couple seats inside and outside and the inside is fairly small. The seating tends to be full on weekends, this place is popular! 100% worth trying, I can't wait to try more of their treats.

I've heard about this bakery from a few friends and coworkers, and decided to check it out after work with my sister. This authentic brazilian bakery sells both sweet and savoury snacks, from popsicles to tarts to loaves of bread. I decided to try the bomba- which was like an eclair pastry with dulce de leche (caramel-like) filling, while my sister got the chocolate brigadeiro dulce de leche and banana meringue tart. For a drink, we shared the passionfruit guava beverage. All the pastries that we bought were very sweet, and it's always best to have water or any other drink on hand. The tart was one of my favourites- I usually don't like banana, but it tasted so good with the dulce de leche. Will definitely be coming back for the savoury sandwiches!

An intriguing little Brazilian bakery that decided to check out while we were waiting for our take-out order to be ready across the street. We were feeling a little hungry and though Padaria bakery would be a good choice for some snacks to tie us over for 20 minutes. Pre-lockdown, they had a fairly simple system to ensure it was safe for all patrons such as no indoor tables available for dining, 4 customers inside the store at all times, a small table with hand sanitizer, and a few tables for outdoor sitting. It seems like a very popular spot in the neighbourhood which includes a few cyclists making a stop too. It's always great to see independent and novel spots like this being embraced by the community. We wanted to get one of everything but resisted to only getting the two of the more popular Brazilian staples that they offer. We got a pao de queijo, a really delightful cheese bread/biscuit, and a coxinha, a super dense and delicious croquette. We just stood off to the side of the sidewalk to enjoy these goodies and didn't need much more then that.

This particular location is located at the intersection of Yonge and St. Clair where it's been open for a couple of years now. I've been to this location a few times and it's the perfect place to grab some caffeine if you're in the neighbourhood. Beverage wise, Pilot Coffee has your usual espresso based coffee options (Americano, latte, cortado, flat white, etc.) as well as matcha drinks as well. There are some pastries available for purchase as well that are on display. This location is smaller compared to their other locations but has several tables indoors for you to enjoy your beverage. They also have coffee gear and equipment if you'd like to grab something to brew your coffee at home. Service is always great and staff make your drinks at a reasonable time. The space is accessible where there is a washroom available as well. You are able to either grab your coffee to go or have it there. Overall, you can trust Pilot Coffee to give you that caffeine hit you are looking for any time of the day. I arrived around 10am on a Saturday morning, got an almond latte and an almond croissant. I drank my latte first and slowly nibbled on the croissant because I wasn't too hungry. The latte was very rich in the almond flavour, and the croissant was nice and flaky. The chairs at the front of the cafe are very comfortable with high arm and back rest. The biggest turn off though was around lunchtime a lady came to collect my empty cup and plate and told me I cannot stay so long, max. one hour sitting time. I had all intentions to order again with them for lunch because as I was studying I saw tables next to me really enjoyed their salads and sandwiches. But after being told I've been sitting too long - when there were no signs of a seating time limit - I decided to just leave. They could've approached me by first asking if I want anything else, and most likely I'll get the hint and order again as I had intended. Instead, they directly told me there's an one hour seating limit that was not posted anywhere. I'd rather go to a Starbucks then, at least I won't be told to leave.
