Exceptional service and care. I have a slight phobia of going to the dentist and I have to say the office was clean, comfortable, and I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. The secretary greeted me with a smile and got me checked in. The dental hygienist (sorry didn't catch name as I was nervous) was so nice, she took good care of me. She was gentle, took her time and handled my anxiousness without getting upset or rude. She was confident, thorough and I could tell without a doubt she knew what she was doing. Then the dentist (Andrey Vorobets) came in and he was also kind, and didn't make me feel ashamed, embarrassed, or uncomfortable regarding my lack of dental care. I do brush my teeth daily and take care of my teeth to the best of my ability, but haven't been to the dentist besides emergency services in over 8 years. He went over my X-rays and explained everything clearly. He was not rushing, pushy or trying to make me do anything I didn't feel comfortable with. In fact he let me know I was in charge of my dental care and moving at my own pace. When the dentist finished up the insurance administrator came in to go over my care plan and billing. She was also nice and explained things well. My insurance is in-network so the prices were affordable and I was able to move forward and get started on deep cleaning right away. I left feeling hopeful and optimistic about getting my dental hygiene back on track!! With all this taken into amount I would recommend anyone to Padden Dental. Dr Dahlen took me under his dental wings when I was in need of a root canal, then put in rod to begin my implant after suffering a 2nd abscess in same front tooth area. Edit to add: now he is calling me a liar. Not sure I expected less. He asked if I was doing some sort of drugs. And I said only what I've been prescribed. And then he proceeded to say, "we see this with people doing "other" drugs." It was obvious what he meant. I don't know why I would lie about something so ridiculous that wasn't true, other than he made me feel like I was being judged for the condition of my teeth, that had rapidly deteriorated in a short time. I have pictures to prove it. Other than those comments and him not wanting to do my filling vs root canal and crowns... he was fine. If I had had better conditioned teeth, he probably would've been great. I waited this long for a review, because I waited much longer to get more Treatment, that I needed, and thought all the dentists would be the same as this one. Let's just say. Others are way more compassionate. And flexible in their treatment plan. *original review* I was thankful this dentist helped me with my broken wisdom tooth, during COVID days.... and removed the others, just because.... But quoted me $10k for the rest of my teeth to get care in 2020. He wanted me to have 5 root canals. and accused me of being on drugs *street drugs*. He straight up questioned me about that. Even tho i explicitly said I started having major issues the prior 6-12 months after I had been on a bunch of medications for my spinal surgeries (I had 2 in less than a month), and also had really bad acid reflux and depression. I even asked for him to fix the other teeth that needed attention, too, first, because that's what I could afford, after just filing bankruptcy. And he said no. Let's just say, I didn't need that many root canals... I waited 3 years to go somewhere else. Because he made me feel so terrible about myself, I was afraid all dentists would be the same. And zero root canals were necessary after other appts. . I'm so glad the other dentists I saw did not treat me this way. My newest dentist, said it would be $5k if i got 2 root canals. And my other cavities, but I might not Need those, at all. Since I have no pain. But they have been the same for years. Ive seen 2 dentists since 2020. Had to switch from the first because the first didn't take care credit and the newest one does. I'm glad I thought he was too expensive. And found others who didn't make me feel terrible about myself, like he did. But this dentist is the reason I waited as long as I did. I told my newest dentist I'll get a root canal and crown if necessary. But at this point, it's only questionable. And it's for one of the worst teeth that has been an issue for 4 years, that this dentist swore would be broken by now. The front desk literally asked if I could borrow the money from family.... $10k.... It was the most ridiculous experience I ever had to deal with. PSA: Do not use Padden Dental unless you have money you want to throw away lol. Went in for a cleaning, was told I needed a crown in place of a filling I had as a teenager, once that was done I spent the next 3 weeks in tooth ache pain and after two visits for them to fix the issue, I was told I needed a root canal and that the money I paid will not go towards the now needed service that I didn't need when I went in originally for a simple cleaning. Dentist Eric Dahlen continues to make the excuse that I want free service which couldn't be farther from the truth. I simply don't want to be exploited and taken advantage of when I trust my dentist to make accurate diagnosis, and if a mistake is made then have enough integrity to own it. Very bad business practice in a community he claims to serve. Highly suggest not to even risk the same treatment and find another provider! read more

Dentists are ok. Accounting/Business is worse than terrible. So bad i'm finding a new dentist after having gone here for several years. Very tired of being double billed, getting bills 3 years after service, blaming accounting issues on insurance companies and so on. Just got a bill for multiple dates covering several services over 3 years that they didn't catch, then had the nerve to charge me a finance fee. Spent more time arguing about accounting than i did in the chair. Best one was they were going to charge me for cancelling within the 24 hour cancellation period because i had covid (test positive). Wow!! Just not worth the ongoing headache with these people!! I wish there was a zero star rating! read more

Wonderful place! Soo par for the course of my life nothing is simple. Tooth pain in molar - exacerbated by my Invisalign. I knew something was infected ( hence the pain). Currently out of state from my home and needed dental care. I called this office yesterday and they were able to see me today. Which was a blessing. They handled paperwork digitally which was easy breezy and my insurance was already on board by the time I arrived today. From the first moment I contacted this office to the moment I left, it has been a positive experience. All the staff is super friendly and made me feel at ease ( WHO really goes into a dental office relaxed?). The dentist was thorough in exam and explanation and a plan set in place. The billing is explained up front in detail and it's made as painless as possible. Thank you so very much to Katie and everyone at Padden Dental, you were fantastic! I went to Cascade Dental on the 1st of December for my very first time. I came in with a cracked tooth on the side of my mouth. I was hoping to get not only answers on how to fix my tooth problem, but I wanted an overall examination of my teeth as a whole. The Dental Assistance in the back are all very young and lack experience. That was a red flag. After an x-ray was taken of my cracked tooth, Dr. Dahlen came in and said "You have a cavity, it's the cause for your tooth cracking, the best solution is a root canal and a porcelain crown". LITERALLY, that's all he said to me. The office manager was sent into my room to go over financial costs of having my tooth repaired. She told me it was going to cost close to $3000.00 for that tooth to have a root canal and crown. The cost to repair ONE tooth is absolutely absurd. I informed her that I could not justify spending that on a root canal and crown and she told me it was competitive pricing and that I was not going to find it anywhere else cheaper. I don't mind paying for quality but I don't think that would have been the case. I booked an appointment at Alfordable Dental to have the very same thing done and it's costing me almost HALF the price. read more

No I would not recommend this place. Eric Dahlen the dentist when giving me novocain damaged a nerve. After 8 months of still being numb I felt I should have some kind of compensation so I called and they wanted me to come in for a re-evaluation. It's now been a year and the numbness still remains. I understand that this may happen but after my last revaluation he was arrogant defensive and condescending and unwilling to do anything about it. Just brushed me off and told me to get a second opinion or to see a neurologist. The way he made me feel was as if it was my fault. When dealing with The office staff they were not always pleasant. Though Stevie, The hygienist was exceptional. Because of the dentist attitude and the way I was treated and how he Made me feel left me no choice to find another dentist. Finally he had agreed to a complementary teeth whitening treatment, if that would make me happy. This would not make me happy and really all I would have wanted was some real concern for this year issue which is still ongoing. I told the office manager he could keep his complimentary teeth whitening treatment and I never returned. He should have put himself in my place and maybe he would have felt differently. We have expectations for people to do the right thing and this is one place that chose not to. read more

The billing department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They said everything was fine and then sent a bill seven months later. I called and they just said "sorry". They really do not know how to bill properly and cannot keep billing correct. I will not go back there and would suggest others avoid this dental group also. read more

I liked my hygienist and my dentist. However, their billing staff is so incompetent. I had a student insurance and I had special insurance id number. I told her that but she ignored and didn't try the insurance id number that I suggested. Obviously, she couldn't find my information on the insurance system. So I had to pay the full bill. Later, I talked the insurance representative and as he recommended, I went back to tell them to get a refund. But her answer was no. I had to pay dam $300 and wait for months to get the money back from them. And then few months after, they billed me again. They were saying that her estimation was wrong. How many times she needs to make a mistake for one bill? Come on!!!! Such incompetent staff creates overall dissatisfaction on the service and dental office. read more

I had my crown in my front tooth come off unexpectedly. My regular dentist did not offer this service so I searched for the closest dentist that provided this service . They got me in the day that I called and did X-rays and suggested that I get my crown replaced since it was over 10 years old . They temporarily put my crown back on so that it would last until I could get another appointment scheduled to get a new one . They got me a for another appointment within a couple of days and when I went in they were able to get my new crown made and put in that day . The assistants were very friendly and so was the dentist and office staff . They were very upfront about what portion I would be responsible for and what my insurance would cover . I also felt like they were not trying to offer extra procedures like putting in a screw instead of just building the tooth up so the crown would stay in place . I really appreciated that as I have had dentists do that in the past . I highly recommend this dental office and have scheduled another app for other dental work I need done . read more

If I had to go anywhere for my first root canal, I'm glad I found this place. I'm sure I'll be remembered as the pregnant girl who cried when her crown came off but hormones, man. I'm in my first trimester and was experiencing tooth pain when I woke up in the middle of the night so I searched for the highest rated dentists in Vancouver and found Cascade Dental. Originally, I had booked a 5pm appointment online but I called to check they were really open today and Rebecca looked at my notes and suggested I come earlier so we could just fix the whole problem today. When I got set up as a new patient, they asked about my anxiety levels when it came to the dentist. Personally, while it's not my favorite thing to do, I usually don't get too anxious. But I thought it was cool that they have lots of options available to help reduce anxiety. They took great care when it came to the wellbeing of my baby. I was double bibbed for X-rays and he explained that the local anesthetic was not harmful to baby. I felt very confident through the whole thing I saw Dr. Dahlen and he was so nice and explained the root canal procedure (after a short test) and also helped alleviate my fears regarding the pain as I had only heard horror stories about root canals. He also patiently let me cry after my teeth just wouldn't cooperate with the dental dam and suggested a two part procedure if I wasn't up to the whole thing today. But I went ahead with the whole thing because, why not? Plus Thanksgiving. The local anesthetic was probably the most painful part and it wasn't really. It pinches but nothing to it. There was a lot of pressure but the actual procedure was not that bad. I'm home now, the site has feeling back, and I'm not experiencing any pain at all. I did get lucky and since my crown flew off, they cleaned away the old cement and were able to reuse it so that saved me a couple hundred dollars from our out of pocket portion. I also like their schedules. They look flexible and they have a good range of time slots available which is great when you work a 9-5 (well, 8-4:30). This is a great practice with good people and Dr. Dahlen is a dentist on top of his profession. Real nice guy too! I was new to Clark County and referred to Cascade Dental at this office (they have several offices). Good referral. I was pleasantly surprised I could get treated for almost any issue on the spot, same appointment. I also appreciate he explains the treatment and tells you what he is doing as he works. I've had exams, fillings, even a root canal done the same visit. No delay. Most of his services are in-office. No wasting time or added pain to arrange several treatments. My past dentists had me schedule several appointments or referrals to other offices to get basic treatments done. Took forever. Not here. Dr. Dahlen does it all and his staff, equipment and techniques are up-to-date. The treatment is good with very little discomfort. We were also pleased he does conscious sedation (few dentists do) for a skittish family member. I've seen older patients and kids in the office at the same time. I recommend him. Best Dental Experience of my Life!!! Everyone who works at Cascade Dental is so nice and professional! Many people, including myself don't jump for joy when its time to go to the Dentist. Oftentimes it can be a very stressful and uncomfortable experience. This is NOT the case at Cascade Dental. First, their patient waiting room is trendy and relaxing. When you walk into their office, you are immediately acknowledged by the front desk staff who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rebecca helped me during my last visit, and she is great! She called me back and we discussed all the typical new patient information. She made me laugh multiple times which is not easy to accomplish at 7am in the morning. One of the things I really appreciated was how she went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable. They offer things such as blankets, stress balls, and so many other tools to help patients minimize a patient's stress level. When I went back to the patient waiting room I was only there a couple minutes before I was called back for my exam and x-rays. Dr. Dahlen completed my exam and he is the best Dentist I have ever seen. He was very thorough in discussing my exam with me. He didn't make me feel rushed, or try to get me in and out like I have experienced with other Dentists in the past. He made sure I understood everything he discussed with me, and encouraged questions for which he provided detailed answers. If it were not for the fact that I am moving out of state, I would never go to a different Dentist again. Other Dental offices should model their practice after Cascade Dental! read more

This place is awful! First off, when I went in to get some fillings the lady who was doing them gave me some shots to numb the area, and after I kept saying it was hurting really bad, she says "Oh, we should have given you a full block. I knew we should have. Next time you come say you need a full block." She kept working on my teeth even though it was hurting real bad. Then I heard her get snappy with a lady who had just started that day. I was quite unimpressed. NEXT They said my husband's fillings were completely covered by insurance, so we decided to get them done. (We wouldn't have got them done if they weren't completely covered.) A month later we get a bill from them for five hundred and some odd dollars saying we owe them. I called them up and asked about it, and I got a voicemail back saying they made a mistake, and everything was actually covered. I thought everything was fine Now, about five months later I have a bill going towards collections from them saying that it needs to be paid. THE SAME BILL that they said they screwed up on. I can't believe what a pain this place is. Do not go here, beware!!! They are money hungry cheaters who don't care about their patients. read more

I liked Dr. Dahlen but the BILLING IS HORRIBLE!! I can not go there again!! I told them I could not afford large out of pockets and every visit was met with unexpected HUGE bills when I was told previously I was paid up. I did not go until Feb this year to insure I was completely paid up and told them I would not make a another appointment until then. They assured me I was, and I paid $294 at the counter for work being done that day to cover my portion, already twice as high as they told me when I made the appointment, they said would be what I owed, but, recently received a bill saying I owed $426 additionally!! For weeks I called and was told the billing person would get back to me but they didn't, just sent a bill "please resolve!" NO! I wanted a statement first. Finally, they called and they want instant payment but said they would send the statement. Sure enough, the statement showed they carried a balance from the previous year of $251 that they had told me was not there or no other work would have been done!! DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU HAVE AWESOME DENTAL INSURANCE AND DEEP POCKETS!! UPDATE!!!!! They finally sent explanation of 6 month old charges (which I also question) on July 24th, 2015 I got the statement AND NOW they sent me to COLLECTION!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I took my husband in for an extensive appointment yesterday with Dr Dahlen and he was very nervous for the appointment. Afterwards, he commented on how easy the whole thing was and he was SUPER impressed overall. I also took my daughter in for a surgery with Dr Dahlen recently and she too was a little nervous but afterwards was so happy with how easy everything was. We are firm believers in this office and have found our dentists for life!!! Even the manager and front office are friendly and efficient, they really make you feel comfortable. We were unhappy with this place because we went for a free consultation and they ended up billing our insurance and then sending us a bill. We ended up chosing a different dentist for this reason. The communication from the staff members was not clear and we never received a statement at the end of the consultation saying they would bill our insurance and charge us for the rest. read more

I loved my first visit to Cascade Dental on Padden Parkway. Such a friendly staff! I loved the attention and friendly smiles from the beginning to the end of my appointment.
