This is the very best dental office I've ever been to! Every person who works there is so kind and helpful. The front desk is easy to check you in and get you scheduled quickly and efficiently. Lacey is my hygienist and you could not ask for a more gentle and thorough cleaning. On top of that she is funny and so lovely to chat with during the cleaning. Dr. Aaron is the best around. I've always felt heard, respected, and valued. I love his preventative focused care and conservative approach to procedures. The work culture in the office is always goofy and fun which really helps ease any anxiety. I've never experienced pain with him or any of the hygienist here, which is huge for me. I recently moved and had a bad dental experience trying to find a new doctor, which lead me to writing this review as I was thinking about how genuinely amazing this place was and how sadly, not everyone is as incredible as the team at Garden City Dental. Dr Aaron and his team are the shit. I recently moved and was looking for a dentist in my area. I always try and find dentists that work pediatric as well because they tend to be better providers (in my opinion). I love that they did a thorough exam. Didn't try and upsell me on crap and my billing was straightforward. I asked to get a pre-approved quote on my billing to ensure he was in network etc. my last dentist tried to quote me over $1k for a cleaning and 2 fillings. Let's just say I was very happy I was moving and was able to find a new dentist! Lol Everyone is really kind and the hygienist and Dr Aaron did great work. Jessica in the front is a total sweetheart. She also gave me some holiday recommendations-festivities with lights to check out, etc. since I'm still new to the area. I have already recommended to family that has insurance and that do not. I believe they offer affordable in house payment plans for out of pocket folks too that might not have dental insurance so they can get regular care. Highly recommend. A+ from start to finish. Amazing first experience at Garden City Dental. When booking my appointment, I was asked about prior dental experience and had the opportunity to share past bad experiences. A few days before my appointment, a receptionist reached out to ask if I had any questions or anxiety about the appointment that she could help with. I was up front about my jaw pain and was met with such care and concern. The hygienist was extremely gentle and made my comfort a priority throughout the appointment. My husband had a very traumatic experience when he was 8 with a horrible dentist and refused to go to one for 30 years. I have finally after 30 years of trying multiple dentist (insurance changes) found the best dentist on earth!! I am typically petrified to go to a dentist. I went for my first exam yesterday. The staff treated me like I was a best friend. Eased my tension!! They were running just a few minutes behind so they handed me a coffee gift card. I've sat in other doctor office waiting rooms for over an hour only to be rushed through an appointment so THEY could catch up. NOT at this office!! The staff and especially the dentist treated me like family. They got to know me, took their time and thoroughly examined my teeth, answered all my questions. They calmed my fears!! I was worried about costs as I'm low income. They assured me my insurance would be sufficient. I went back today for a very excellent, painless cleaning with Pamela. What a gem she is!! I feel a kindred spirit with her. She was so friendly, gentle, calming and thorough. The front office staff is equally as friendly, calming and everyone is very professional!! The office is spotless as well. I have a procedure coming up in a couple weeks and I am confident and anxiety free, actually looking forward to it. Who says that about going to a dentist?!? Free stickers for kids and a goodie bag for your first visit. The doctor and assistant's are super thorough with their explanations during my exam and you can genuinely feel they care. Smiles and laughs all around which signifies great care and respect for the employees as well (you don't want someone crabby touching your teeth). Sue is friendly (and fun for me to chat with) as she checks you in. Inna will make your teeth sing and your smile melt hearts. And Dr. Arron will help your bite, kindly banish cavities from your mouth, and for me, even gave me a great crown:), all while being friendly and thorough. They've taken this pandemic seriously, which I applaud. They are very current and thorough with their procedures for disinfection and sterilization. So some back story - I had a traumatic dental experiences at an early age that has always given me pause when going to the dentist. We moved to the area 6 yrs ago and went to a not so "gentle" dental place that was constantly up selling and charging so much beyond what my insurance covered (& I have great dental insurance through my work). I stopped going and after self prompting and husband pushing, I located this place because it was "in network" and local. I sent my husband first (although all the reviews I saw on Yelp were fantastic). He had a great experience and told me he "told them all about me" and that he would help me make an apt. I ended up making the apt on my own and went in...My anxiety (which I haven't been clinically diagnosed with) was high and my blood pressure was extremely high (ranging from high 130 to 167). My hygienist was Kelly and she was very sweet & took care of me but I never got past the "xrays & polishing" part so I had to make another appointment to come back in and only do a deep cleaning - only quarter of my mouth. I never take prescription drugs beyond normal but the dentist offered to call in a prescription to put me at ease. I said sure if you think that would help...He did and I took one the night before and then another one hr before my apt. That next apt had to be canceled (not my doing but I was sorely tempted lol) and was rescheduled to be with a hygienist by the name of Iona. That first apt actually turned in to 2 additional apts to get my entire mouth "deep cleaned" because I was still extremely nervous & apprehensive - even with a Valium & Novocain - and the "water" pick was faster than a normal hand instrument but scared me to holly heck. However the care, patience and diligence that Iona showed was something i never experienced with a hygienist. I now have my "6 month teeth cleaning" apt set with her in February. In the mean time, I have cavities to deal with and a possible root canal/extraction/crown for my back molar but taking baby steps...The dentist - Dr Aaron - is top notch and is extremely caring & very emphatic to his patients fears and concerns.
