I love local coffee shops. This one was cute. I ordered an avocado toast and my daughter ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. The service was great, we sat while we waited and they brought us our food. The avocado toast was great and my daughter enjoyed her smoothie. Come with me to Paddles Coffee, located in Springfield, GA. This is a coffee and sandwich shop that bakes in-house. My friend recommended it, and I am glad I tried it. Their drink menu has a good variety. I went with an Iced Tiramisu Latte with oat milk. They had some great sandwich options, but I was unsure what to do. I had the "Homebody" made with Double bacon, egg, onions, tomatoes, and cream cheese on a toasted asiago bagel. Everything was delicious. Overall, Paddles Coffee was excellent. This coffee shop was such a great find! From the moment I walked in with my two young kids, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were patient as I admitted it was my first visit and had no clue what to order. The barista recommended a seasonal drink, and I ended up really enjoying it. My daughter loved her muffin, my son was happy with his cookie, and I got a breakfast croissant that I'm already craving again. Not only was the food delicious, but the prices were also very affordable, making it a fantastic spot for families. This is my go to coffee shop, I love the speciality flavors they come up with for their coffee (my personal favorite is the peach bourbon iced latte). Quaint place for a breakfast/lunch and coffee. My daughter frequents this location, so we stopped after an early appointment. I ordered the Tiramisu coffee and she ordered the mocha. I enjoyed the flavor of both. While I didn't partake in the food, the sandwiches and quiches looked yummy. My daughter usually orders the "homebody" which is a large bagel with onion, tomato, egg, and bacon. I have been impatiently waiting to check this place out since finding that they are one of the only places in my area that serve my favorite Lotus Energy drinks. A 25 minute drive with my travel buddy, Bennett, led us to being greeted by a manager that was more than happy to turn our business away as they are firm in not allowing dogs that aren't service animals. She seemed bothered and unsure when I notified her that B is an emotional support pup. We were ready to go until other sweet staff members encouraged the manager to allow us to order drinks to go (which was the plan anyways). She didn't seem happy but apparently agreed as she walked away. The seasonal Snow-conut Frost did not disappoint. As we came a bit of a distance, I had to try one of their seasonal coffees as well and I would absolutely make the drive back for the Frosted Sugar Cookie iced coffee BUT waiting outside under a small awning, in the rain, with B in his puppy carrier put a damper on the experience. As B is always with me I probably won't be back but the drinks are good if you're in Springfield and looking to support local. Just don't bring your dog. read more

While hanging out and exploring Springfield for a potential move, I stopped at Paddles for a coffee and a snack. Drink and food selection is pretty extensive. There's something for everyone. I got a black cold brew coffee (my go-to). It's def coffee, but not tasty. The spinach & feta pastry is great though. Upon approaching the counter, there was a problem with another guest's food which seemed to cause a stir with the staff. I waited from probs nearly a min to be greeted and served by one of the five staff behind the counter. It was awkward. Stopped in after seeing a neighbor's post. The atmosphere is great. They had a pretty good menu, I actually had a breakfast sandwich which was wonderful and will purchase again. I look forward to checking out the rest of the menu in the future. Only small downside is power plug access in the main sitting area. I really enjoy this place. They have some fun coffee flavors and great muffins. I very much appreciate that they can make me decaf coffees. The staff is very sweet and friendly as well, feels like you are talking to friends. They have more than muffins though (scones, yum!) and other breakfast foods and they also do teas. Supporting local is important, and the lack of quality of the local Starbucks makes it even easier. I've been coming here for several months now, mostly just for their London Fog. It's my absolute favorite and nobody else has come close. On this particular morning, after getting the kid off to school, the wife and I took some time for ourselves and came here for breakfast. Of the choices available, the Homebody seemed to be the obvious choice, and it was. A toasted Asiago bagel with cream cheese, bacon, fried egg, tomato, and onion. My wife got a regular breakfast sandwich, but after seeing mine and trying a bite, she was filled with regret. So as I sit here writing this review, we await a second Homebody that we are going to split. In conclusion, Paddles is worth the stop. read more

Great place for coffee and sandwiches!!!! My wife has always had to use cream and sugar in her coffee. I use to joke and ask if she wanted coffee with her cream and sugar. The coffee here is so flavorful and smooth that she only uses a bit of cream. Treats are amazing as well. wait is unnecessarily long. we got all our items at different times which was very annoying. id rather wait for all my food to be given to me instead of waiting 10 minutes for my drink after i ate my muffin. Also they put the muffin in the bag upside down which rubbed me the wrong way. read more

I especially loved the tartar (shared as starter) and the grilled rainbow trout served with baby potatoes inside. Prices are medium high, but considering the food quality, definitely worth it. I would strongly recommend this place! It was fully booked, when we arrived, but they accepted walk-ins and we found a table immediately (3 people).

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
