June 29-30 2024 Electricity worked and that was about it. Employees were clearly used to saying "sorry that doesn't work." Is it all their fault, idk but wow that was rough.

RVing in the Southwest and stopped in Page and booked this campground after reading the reviews and based on the price which was about $350 for a seven nights with full hookups. Check in was 4:00 p.m. but they did allow us early check-in which we appreciated. They advertised great Wi-Fi, pool, hot tub and close to all the hiking sites and attractions in the area. that was one of our main reasons for choosing this location. We were able to use the laundry room which is a dollar fifty per wash and a quarter for 20 minutes of drying. It was clean and easy to use but half the machines were out of order. The Wi-Fi was the worst Wi-Fi I have ever come into contact with camping. However it did work great in the laundry room. We did have to go to the office numerous times to ask about it and did learn that one night the modem was totally knocked off and was not back in use until we went in the next morning to let them know we hadn't been able to get connected for about 14 hours. We did have an extender which we use and as long as their Wi-Fi was up and running we were able to connect through our extension. in our section which was the full hookup there was a table and some trees for shade. There is a pool and hot tub and the hours are advertised as 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A couple of nights we went over and they had locked up before 8:00 which we really didn't appreciate as we waited for the families to leave before we went over. We also had a code to enter the pool from the restrooms but the doors were bolted and we could never get into the pool that way. A employee told us that they allow paid admission to the shower rooms for people who are not staying at the campsite which we were not aware of so that they bolt the door to the pool to deny access. But when the outside door is also locked and you cannot get in it's not fair to the people who are paying to have access to the pool and hot tub. They really need to make notice of that if there's a reason it's not going to be open because people have different schedules and look at the hours and adjust their schedule to fit into those hours and when they are changed without notice it's a great disappointment. The staff overall was very nice and helpful. The campsite is in the city close to Walmart and gas stations and restaurants but about a 15 minute drive from the closest Canyon.

Came in just before 6p without a reservation (office is open 8a to 6p) and got a pull through with water and power for out 24' sprinter (limited to 43') at $51 w/senior discount). If you come in after hours, see office door for online/email check-in and availability. Included with night's stay is use of the showers (free) and indoor pool w/ hot tub. There is laundry onsite for 1.50 wash and .25 per 30 minutes dry (soap box for .75, and there is a chamge machine in the laundry room). If tenting, I recommend site 11. We stayed in site #14 pull through and could not get a wifi signal. You probably won't in dry 11, but it has the most shade. There are two shower/toilet locations, one in the main building with the pool and the other up on the north side where the workout gym is. Mens showers on north side were like a fire hose with great water temp (hot or cold). Men's shower/toilet on pool side was flooded with and inch of water , so a no go. Women's was just the opposite, north side bad, poolside good. There are covered wagons for glancing with a full twin bed and 1 single bunk bed. Neat if you have kids, but at 180/nite I'd just get a room at a local motel/hotel. Free coffee/tea in the office, limited to their office hours. All toilet/ showers, pool/hot tub, gym, and laundry have door codes. Although the pool closes at 10, they do not enforce if you need that late night muscle relaxing dip in the hot tub. Shout out to Rosena....thanks for your smiles!

After having been to 7 RV parks, we came to Lake Powell Campground. This is in no way compares to the other RV parks we stayed in. We have repeatedly had to ask for toilet paper to be supplied in the restrooms. We have also asked for soap in the women's restroom. The tp has been re-stocked (only to run out again) and we never have had the women's restroom supplied with soap. The wall edges are filthy with dust. We have respectfully asked for the toilet paper and soap and have not had our requests taken seriously. IMO- check for another site.

Area to the North of the campsite where I went running!

This campground is located 6.2 miles from Antelope Canyon. You'll need to drive toughly 3-5 minutes to get to restaurants and stores in Page. Rates range from 18$ for tents to 30$ for full hook-ups. We paid roughly $25 for overnight camping! It was a GREAT deal, because they had bathroom facilities, running water, and SHOWERS! We explored around the campsite and I highly recommend doing so! We followed the foot trail past the play ground and went up into the rocks. It may look scary, but it is very easy for anyone in moderate shape. This is a great location for camping, especially if you are kayaking or touring Antelope Canyon in the AM! Pet friendly We drove just a few short minutes to Kayak Lake Powell and rented kayaks! Ps- The screenshot of the maps shows where we went running in the morning and where we went exploring at night in comparison to our tent. The black circle is the area we went running at and the pink is where we went exploring in the rocks!

Overhanging trees

Inexperienced staff on reception and grumpy manager on phone at home when we had check in issues. First site had 4 ft incline to access and trees 2 ft from rig. Could not access and be safe. Took a long time to remedy when park was not full but manager screaming at girl on reception over phone. 2nd site better but 3 feet drop front to back of rig!! Sites all gravel/dirt. NOT level. Trees need pruned as prevents awnings going out and tricky to get rig in to avoid branches. Sites close together and mixed longer rv sites with primitive camping. Very exposed to wind. Pool needs slots of maintenance, mold, missing tiles, player peeling, dirty fans propping doors open etc etc. Way to many dogs wondering around park, barking and chasing things. Wi-Fi useless despite being fixed day after arrival. 1-2mb speed. Verizon was also poor at 2-5mb. Plus side- close to antelope, horse shoe. 2 hour drive to Zion and Bryce. Nicer sites down near Marina but more $. would not stay again.

There are several different ways you can check out Lake Powell. One option is to see it from afar from atop cliffs and overlooks in Glen Canyon Park. This provides scenic views of the beautiful lake. Another option is to actually see the Lake up close and personal. There are several spots where you can do that. I decided to make the short drive into Utah to see it from Lone Rock. You have to drive through some rocky/sandy terrain so me careful to follow the path (unless you're in a car with four-wheel drive). Once you get closer to the beach, you will reach a sandy area. Do not drive through it. You'll see cars and RVs parked right where the terrain changes for good reason. Unless you have the proper vehicle, you'll get stuck in the sand. I saw it happen. That will ruin your day. There are even warning signs about this. Once we parked our rental, we walked to the shoreline. I dipped my toes in the water, a bit cold but pleasant. It's a great place to just relax and take in the beauty of your surroundings. The Lake is also a popular spot to rent boats. While I didn't do this, it is a popular activity. A must-visit while in Page!

Horseshoe Bend was our first stop after checking into our hotel. The nice thing is it's not that tough to pull off. When you arrive, you have to pay $10 to park, and then a short hike on a most paved road (10-15 minutes) will take you to Horseshoe Bend. You'll be able to see this incredible beauty of nature from a cliff that overlooks it. The main area has a railing but there are also open areas off the cliff where you can see it, too. Be careful as your pursuit to get an amazing pic may get you in trouble if you're too close to the cliff's edge. A picture isn't worth risking your life. Take a couple of pictures, enjoy the beauty, and make your way back. You can easily visit Horseshoe bend in 30 minutes to an hour. Given it's popularity, it has gotten quite popular and was busy when I went. That took away from enjoying being out in nature a bit, but still well worth it. When you leave, they have restrooms available near the exit. A must visit when in Page!

Horseshoe Bend is…read moredefinitely worth visiting if you're already going to Antelope Canyon since it's only about a 14-minute drive away. The attraction itself is free, but parking costs $10 per vehicle. After parking, there's a short walk to the overlook. The walk is pretty easy, but it can get hot and windy depending on the weather, so bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Once you reach the viewpoint, the scenery is absolutely unreal. Seeing the Colorado River curve around the canyon in person is so much more impressive than photos online. The overlook is very high, which makes the views even more dramatic. If you're planning to take photos or videos, try walking around a bit because some areas get crowded. We found one of the higher spots for better views and it was totally worth it for pictures. Also, don't forget to stop by the "Page, Arizona" sign nearby before leaving! Overall, such a beautiful and easy stop to add to any Arizona or Southwest road trip itinerary.

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families and beginners looking for a scenic and well-guided kayaking experience!

Our group completed the kayak and hike which were very much worth it! We needed slight accommodations and Sid and John were reassuring and supportive for both my mom and I. This tour is really for everyone and I can't recommend this tour company and John enough. Because we traveled during off season, we had the entire lake and trail to ourselves. John left much time for us to take cool pictures and was a wealth of knowledge. He made sure to engage with each person in the group and was successful in getting the more shy individuals to step out of their comfort zones. John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera. If you feel the need to pack more, I recommend that you bring your own waterproof back pack. I opted to go barefoot in the kayak and wear shoes on the hike. You will have to walk through water to get on and off of the boat. Do not let your size and fitness level deter you from this tour. The team is incredibly accommodating and reassuring, making this the perfect tour for all. Highly recommend this tour and either Sid or John!

She said yes but the benefit of using them was they carried the boards down and up a steep hill. We were there on Saturday April 25th. So we rented two paddle boards and she warned us about the winds. It was like $155. She was nice so we went for it. We get to the site and are waiting around. They haven't even taken the boards off the truck, but we were fine waiting. Layla finally made it up the HILL and had 2 boards taken off the truck and laid on the ground. I asked if any of the MANY men who were there and carrying kayaks down, was going to carry them down. She said no, you carry them. And that hill was STEEP. I figured meh, okay. I was annoyed since we were told they'd be ready for us at the bottom. Layla carried my paddle. Once I saw the hill, I was even more annoyed but I already paid $155 plus $30 entry to the lake. When we got to the bottom, she mentioned when we got back I had to carry it back up. I said I'm not doing that. lol. She held my leash so I could climb on my board. Not an easy task where we were. The paddle boarding was rough but we knew that, the girls at the office warned us. 5 miles later we returned. I STRUGGLED getting off the board and trying to haul it up by myself, my body was shaking and I was visibly exhausted. A young man who worked for this place, WATCHED me struggle. Asked how it was, I said it sucked. He mentioned me carrying the board up that steep hill, while I was shaking from exhaustion and out of breath, and I said "I'm not doing that" and he replied with "why is it heavy?" I did carry my life jacket and paddle...but after that comment I REALLY didn't want to. Layla gave me a water at the top and said to take a breath, I was breathing very heavy. I'd say don't rent paddle boards. You will have to carry them up and down the hill and will get no assistance getting off the board either. But they did carry the kayaks and help those people who also paid like we did, in and out of the kayaks. So maybe rent those and not the paddle boards.

Check-in felt a bit like standing in a slow car rental line. We waited about 15 minutes while a line formed behind us, and there was a form with disclaimers to sign before getting the room key. Our room was in Building 7. The rooms feel dated, and housekeeping seemed inconsistent. We had 2 bath towels, 2 makeup towels, and 1 hand towel, but no washcloths and no pool towels. The front desk said pool towels should be in the room, but there are none available at the pool itself. Our bathtub drain was clogged, so water pooled during showers, and one of the bed frames had something unpleasant on the fabric that clearly should have been cleaned. Amenities were also disappointing for a property charging a nightly resort fee. The hot tub jets were broken, the water wasn't warm, and it looked pretty dirty. The pools are not heated, so they were ice cold in April. Ironically, the hot tub appeared to finally start working the morning we checked out. Food options on site include the Driftwood Lounge, a breakfast deli, and the Rainbow Room for buffet and dinner (reservations required for dinner). The buffet was just okay -- next time I'd skip it and order an entrée instead. The hot & spicy wings at the lounge were decent. Overall, I gave it 3 stars because the staff were very kind and the views are fantastic. If we stayed again, we'd come with the expectation of enjoying the scenery rather than the amenities.
