Stayed in loop "A." Full hookup sites campground run by the National Park Service. Spacious sites with plenty of room between sites. Upon pulling into the park noticed a law enforcement ranger vehicle (real police but for the NPS) parked in the shade beside the road. Bathrooms were clean, showers located in main office/gift shop so it was a hike from loop A and even more of a hike from other loops. I would stay again but personally would avoid peak season months as I can see that it would be really busy due to the lake. read more

No wifi even though I was camping very close to the office. They are cash less but the laundry requires cash. Staff would not help me get change so I could do my laundry and suggested I walk a mile down the road to get change. Manager wouldn't help either. Update the washer/dryers to accept CC if you want to be cashless and don't leave your guests in a jam. read more

Such beautiful views. I don't know how fun this place would be if we didn't have a boat though. There's not much in the town besides a few national monuments to see but you can get that done in a day or two max. It costs to enter the area/park. It was $30 for our car and $30 for our boat So $60 total just to get in and that entrance fee is good for 7 days. And then it was right under $500 to camp from Monday-Saturday for a full hookup site. There's not much shade at the camp sites. Also there is a ton of ant hills so beware. But the views are beautiful. They have a laundry mat that's by the front office and it's open 24/7 and plenty of bathrooms that are clean around the campground. The young two female African Americans that were in the office are not friendly. No smile no nothing from them so don't go in there planning to talk to them because they just stare at you like you're annoying them. I recommend visiting the visitor center in town. Internet does not work at all!!! The laundry takes quarters only. The campground says they are cashless so have no quarters. The ATM only puts out 20s which their coin machine does not accept. The worst part was their attitude, they don't give a shit! They told us we could TRY walking a mile to the closest business that MIGHT have change. This campground is miles from a town so pretty much stuck. Again, their attitude was the worst part. read more

We came to Wahweap swimming area so that we could go for a swim on a hot September day. The water was beautiful and refreshing but not too cold. It was a lovely place to swim and has a great view of the dessert rock formations. It costs $30 per personal vehicle to enter the park area. There is plenty of parking, and it is a short walk down to the beach. read more

This was me and my family's first time to Lake Powell in Page, AZ and we were super impressed and loved the RV campsite! We had a spot underneath a tree for some added shade. It helped a lot with the temperatures reaching 109 degrees in July. Campsite has full hookups (electricity, water, sewer) and it made our stay more comfortable. The campsites have enough room in between each and are very close to the Lake shoreline. We took a canopy and chairs because it was so hot the day we went and I'm glad we did! Take a wagon if you are able to because the walk back up to the parking lot is pretty steep and can get tiresome carrying chairs and other stuff. The employees were very nice when we checked in. We found our new place to visit every year and explore the many other activities Page, AZ has to offer. read more

It's within driving distance to Antelope Canyon and trails we needed to get to like Spencer in (Marble Canyon) and Horseshoe Bend. There's Lake Powell within walking distance as well. There's a laundry mat available located next to the check-in office. Very convenient after many days on the road. What made it even better was that our site had full hookups. I believe there are sites that aren't equipped with a sewer, but there's a dump station available. While on a walk with one of my dogs a man screamed from a distance warning me of Bob Cats. Not that I seen one, but did not chance it by unleashing or leaving them unattended. I'm already missing this campground. I honestly could live here for a few months if I had the opportunity. They Won't let you check in until exactly noon, not a minute before. Then they charge more per adult. When I booked I put two adults and 1 child, well turns out we had 2 family members come with and they charge extra per person BUT they don't give you any more shower tokens. In fact they only give you 1 free shower per day. So you have to buy more tokens so the other 3 people can shower. Also don't forget they charge you a resort fee and you need to pay an extra 30$ fee to even drive into the park. Be aware of all the hidden fees. What we thought was a $60 fee for two nights tent camping turned into a $160.21 read more

This campground looked amazing in reviews and photos--which is why we came. The sites did not disappoint. Each site in the RV loops is paved with full hookups (except cable TV). The internet was decent. The restrooms where clean with lots of natural light and space. Perhaps most impressive was the view (in the distance) of Lake Powell and the surrounding rock features. Sunrise and sunset are just beautiful. If you like to walk or have any kind of transportation (including a bike), the Lodge is not too far and has an excellent restaurant. Now for the things I didn't like: - The park is far from any resources in Page, AZ and the park store is closing early (4pm), so be sure you have what you need. -The family/co-ed showers are not great. There is nothing to lay or hand your clothes or towel on. Nothing. -All the coin operated stuff was sketchy. The shower takes tokens. The first token worked, the second didn't--leaving me in the middle of a shower with no water and no tokens. The dryer took $150 in quarters and never got hot, wasting 40 minutes of my life. The problems I had with the shower and the laundry definitely shaded my opinion of this place. If the coin-operated things worked better, this would be a four-star review at least. However, the little things are important and being able to finish a shower would be nice. read more

Perfect spot for a perfect weekend!! Bring a pop up canopy because there is NO SHADE. Other than that - perfect campsite. So many tips to share- read on for more! The bathrooms were in great shape for all of our needs and the store has a 24/7 set of showers! Can't beat it. Just make sure you have a few bucks cash to get shower tokens. We booked a spot in the tent only loop and loved how isolated it still felt from all of the camp vans. The days get hot fast - so prep to go the beach or on the boat early. ***Before you leave for the day- make sure your tent and other stuff is staked down and secure!! One time we showed back up and a neighbors tent had blown totally upside down into a pole. *** The walk from the parking lot to the waterfront is prettttttty long. Surprisingly long. Pack plenty of beverages (and water) to be sure the way up is a breeze. Wahweap Marina is massive and has tons of rental options but we ended up renting from Antelope Point Marina because everything was sold out at Wahweap. We were a group of 7, with four tents. Our spot had space for all of us to set up and relax. Everything was easy and felt nice and secure while we were out and about. Thanks Wahweap staff for the great weekend. read more

Stayed May of 2024. Wonderful camp site!! The views are gorgeous and location is awesome! I had a larger group that reserved two sites and luckily they were next to each other, so we had a large area. Although, each site does have a good amount of space (we had just normal SUVs,non-hookup reservation). Beware...there are those stickers everywhere - wear thick shoes. We had dogs with us and LUCKILY we brought little booties for them because they had them stuck in their paws. P.S. you can still get poked through the tarp bottom of your tent (i had an extra pair of shoes that I only wore in the tent). Now the important stuff: -Good, clean bathrooms with normal toilets (not the silver ones) -Nice, clean showers for pay ($3 = 8min). You have to purchase shower tokens with cash NOT coins -there is a picnic table per site -there is a fire pit with grill per site -there is a larger sized sink to do dishes by the bathrooms in each loop Kind of blown away at how nice these bathrooms were for a camp site. There's the one thing of men's and women's bathrooms, per loop, throughout the entire campground (no showers here). Then, there is the Campground Office/Store that has additional bathrooms as well as the showers and laundry. The store portion is somewhat of a general store too (closes pretty early so check the hours). 9/10 because one of our sites we couldn't use the grill because there were fire ants living on it. They have a store at the site where you can buy last minute items and souvenirs. The bathrooms were super clean which is sometimes a hit or miss at other camp sites. A National parks pass will work or you pay $30 per car entering. Wahweap is a very well designed RV hookup and tent camping campground within view of Lake Powell. New paved hardscape, nice landscaping, clean, level wide RV pads, fire pit, grill, picnic bench and varied trees for shade. Awesome views. So nice! Bathrooms, showers, 24 hr laundry room, and gift shop/store. Prices are high, groceries are limited. Bring all your own food, drinks, supplies. Swimming beach located right across street from RV Park. Must drive to your preferred water spot. The walk from designated parking lot to swimming beach is 3/4 mile so bring your wagon to haul your beach stuff. If you desire a boat rental go early or make reservations. Last rental goes out at 2:30pm. Since summer days are triple digits, the heat on lake lasts well after 6pm. Best option is to just jump in and cool off! Only Major gripe is that the grounds lack any lights or reflectors on roadways, parking lots, and near laundry. Makes it difficult and unsafe to use laundry facilities once dark. Also laundry room has several out of order machines. read more

The campground is not shaded and there are barely any trees. In the summertime camping is brutal for tent users. It's nice to have flush bathrooms nearby and it's definitely nice to have shower options for the entire group. The lake and beach was nearby, so it's nice! Great amenities including a well stocked store, token showers, free wifi, laundry room, dish washing sink. Shade trees were planted, but these sites are really full exposed. Campground - Great place that offers a lot from having 2 launch sites, a border line separating 2 states, camping, full hook up sites, bathrooms, showers, nd convenience store. Sites - We had a good site camp site that allowed to park a R.V. and trailer and still had room to setup tables etc. Clean kept up areas. My friends and I added this place to our road trip itinerary just as a place to stop and sleep on our way to Zion national park, so we weren't expecting much, but it was absolutely beautiful and we ended up staying longer than we anticipated. Our campsite overlooked a lake surrounded by canyons and the scenery was gorgeous. The bathrooms were clean and didn't smell bad. The only negative is that you have to pay for showers ($2 for 8 minutes), but wasn't an issue for us as we were more concerned with sight-seeing than comfort. We will definitely come back and camp here! Also, if you come here, definitely go to horseshoe bend! Its a beautiful overlook of a canyon with a winding river in the bottom. The best time to go is an hour or so before sunset because the sun brings out the orange in the rock. definitely one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in my life read more

One of each was out of order. It was a busy place. Restrooms were not the cleanest. The employees were the unfriendliest we have ever encountered at an RV park. The view is amazing! The view is wonderful.... Hope you like goat heads in your feet and tracked into your trailer though. The laundry was $2.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry... hopefully $1.50 actually dries your clothes. Possibly the worst washing facility for the price of the campground. There are only 5 washers and 6 dryers, one is broken though. You also have to pay for your showers. Seems a bit crazy since the spots were $80 a night. Don't bank on WiFi either! It's basically useless. read more

My husband and I brought our 18' trailer and spent 3 nights in this campground. The pull through site was in Loop D, space 44 and was easy to maneuver, had concrete, level pads, fire ring and grille and picnic table. We had some views of the lake. There are several bathrooms which were clean. There is a large parking lot and boat launch right next to the campground. There is also a nice large beach with a pathway from a parking lot. The reservation check in was easy ( they ask for your trailer/RV license plate so make sure you have it when you go in). The small store has minimum items that you might need when camping, but I would grocery shop before you come. I used the laundry and they worked fine. They take quarters. The views of the lake and cliffs were amazing. We took a cruise tour with Dreamkatchers to Antelope Canyon. It was very nice. We went in the 4:15 pm cruise for great lighting for photos. read more

Nice and Convenient Location with great sites with fabulous views, bathroom facilities were nice and had plenty of room and were clean and well lit for evening visits. Loved this spot and it is central to a lot of activities...What was not cool (or too cool) was that for the amount you spend for full hookups you have to pay for (NON refundable I was told) shower tokens, and we did expecting a nice hot shower, but got cold showers that were limited to 8 minutes, would have done my laundry as well except the soap was in the camp store that was only open 8-4, they could have at least had coin operated soap dispensers. I asked about stuff to do in the area and was only told expensive activities, which is not what I was looking for since we already had booked a kayaking excursion for one day. This would have been a 5 for sure if it hadn't been for the store hours and nonrefundable COLD SHOWER that I had to PAY for! Couldn't ask for my money back anyway cos store was never open when we were there except for checkin. Too many things to do in the area! read more

We had 3 rigs that stayed at this campground on June 10th for 2 nights. The camping spots were very nice; but we felt the staff was very rude. The bathrooms had broken toilet seats, the laundry room had washers and dryers that didn't work. We brought it to the managers attention and she questioned my daughter-in-law with regard to the dryers not drying. She never put an out of order sign on the dryer so that the next person would not be stuck there waiting forever for their laundry to dry. With regard to the convenient walk to the beach, it is 3/4 of a mile walk and a pretty strenuous one, especially for small children. I have to say that you won't get more beautiful sunsets than those at Page, Arizona. read more

Great camp stop on the way to Zion National Park. Well kept grounds. Lots of space between camp sites. Nice hiking and views of the lake.

Unfortunately, all RV sites with hookups are full. We ended up parking our camper at a tent site and we noticed that this is fairly common with a lot of other RV's. The campground is very big right next to Lake Powell so the morning view is gorgeous. The bathrooms are kept very clean and there are several of them so easy access from any loops you are assigned to. Shower facility is only located at registration desk. It's quite nice that there are several family shower rooms. read more

This review is just for the WAHWEAP RV and Campground. Aramark/Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas also manages Bullfrog RV Park & Campground and Bullfrog RV Park & Campground. Our campground had a great view of the lake. The trees were too sparse to have our tent shaded in the blazing sun but with the cool breeze, it was okay. Actually, pretty windy. Do not forget weights or stakes. This review would've gotten 4 stars if it wasn't for the ants. There is definitely a problem that needs to be addressed. I'm aware its nature, but all of the people must have frightened away the ants' prey or food/trashed isn't well contained? I had a great time. What a beautiful lake - especially at sunset. read more

The Wahweap RV Park is cute and we got to see a lot of chipmunks and jack rabbits, but some areas were lacking. We had next to no phone service the whole time and the camp WiFi didn't work on our phones (worked OK on laptop). There was also some sort of problem with the sewage system and it made our campsite unpleasant for half of our stay. read more

Spent a week and we were pleasantly surprised. GREAT huge spot (C25) that was plenty big for our 31 foot class C, as well as a full size Ram truck pulling a double ski trailer. And even then there was a whole other section that we could use for corn hole and eating/relaxing. And we launched our ski right down the hill at the Stateline ramp which was uncrowded and convenient. The only downside to the trip was we got a flat but luckily just as we were pulling in to the campsite. Front desk could not help us with a recommendation for a towing company, and AAA could not get anyone to come out so we used Little's Diesel. And they were great and also changed the tire right in the spot. (I did a different review on them ) read more
