Unfortunately, the only thing that they seem to be good at is providing estimates, and following up for payment. They are also very good at scheduling 4 hour windows for when to expect them, but that is only because they do it so often. In my case they missed the first 3 scheduled appointments. 2 for running late, and one because they showed up but didn't have the equipment needed. The job itself was supposed to include Hot Tar Crack Fill ($100 for 10 major cracks) and Sealcoating ($150). When they arrived, the job took about 20 minutes as they applied hot tar to what I guess you could argue was 10 cracks, and then they slopped on some sealcoating that was not spread evenly leaving sealcoat squeegee marks/lines. I submitted the pictures attached here stating that I didn't think this seemed right for a $250 job and received a reply offering to redo it for an additional cost. I replied back, again pointing out that the cracks that were filled with tar was not done properly and the cracks were not filled, but did not receive a response. Just more requests to pay my overdue bill. What's even more frustrating is that the contract specifically states that there is a 2 Year Warranty for Any Hot Asphalt Services, I guess Hot Tar isn't considered a hot Asphalt Service. read more

I have been totally taken by Pagni's sealcoating. We had the driveway, 8000 square feet, seal coated last October. The coating is 90% gone 4 months later. The coating started to turn to 'sand' over the winter. Every time we shoveled or used the snowblower to remove snow, it picked up the sandy sealcoating. Walking on the driveway now is like walking on a sandy beach although most of the 'sand' has been washed away by recent rains. Totally useless and got taken for a lot of money. read more

Pagni's asked for a four hour window to arrive for a sealcoating appointment, so I took 1/2 day off work. When they didn't show, I called the office. Betsy told me they had a bigger job to do before mine. More important too, apparently. She promised the sealcoaters would arrive 60 to 90 minutes late. Two hours later, after no show, I took my family to dinner. At 5:07pm, I received a text message that they had arrived at my home, and were waiting FOR ME! I looked to the sky in disgust, and noticed storm clouds rolling in. Pagni's was going to charge me for a job that would have been ruined within minutes or hours after completion. These people are unreliable. Why isn't there an option for zero stars on this site? Pagni's doesn't deserve the one star which equates to a letter grade of D. No apologies (except in a text message where I'm made out to be the bad guy), just poor professionalism. Don't hire these guys unless you can tolerate a window that runs 9:00am to 5:07pm. read more

Pagni's came out to give us a free estimate. Our driveway is ready for a replacement, but it's just not in the books at this time. Mike was very professional and said that the driveway is shot but they could put on a thick coat and if needed a second coat. One coat did wonders. We know that we will have to do this every year to keep our driveway intact. We are more than happy with the professionalism and cleanliness of his crew. Very disappointed! I had a time frame on Father's Day with a 4 hour window and even though they showed they said they were not able to do the job due to not having enough product. Not only did we have to waste half the day waiting for them but when we left the house they were doing my neighbors driveway down the street. Clearly they don't stand behind there work.They advertise customer satisfaction, NOT TRUE!!!!! The driveway was not properly prepared for the seal coating. They said that they fill the cracks in the driveway, that was not the truth. Called the office and was told they only fill 7 cracks and they don't fill in surface cracks. Never told that when the job was being preformed. I was told to text pictures to them of what I was talking about and they would get back to me. Had to call again when no one returned my call. Was told the owner comes in the office in the early afternoon. Never heard word one. Texted again to get an answer and was told they are surface cracks. One of the cracks was 1/4 inch and the picture was taken with a ruler next to it to clearly show that it was not a surface crack. NEVER USE A COMPANY who will not stand by there work or even come out to take a look for themselves!!!!! Very unprofessional!!!!!! read more

My driveway hasn't been done in years. they worked with my timeline to do my front pad first while other construction was being done at my house and weather didn't help them but they kept in touch with open days. I called to get an estimate from these people. They stopped out in a timely fashion. However when I called to set up a time for them to do the work, they wouldn't honor a post card I had received from them a couple days after they were out. She said they were already giving me a discount. So they couldn't give me the 20% that was on the card. They could go a little lower, but not 20%. I think this is fraud and there are laws against this. My other estimates were the same price, so I don't believe the price was already discounted. But I wanted you all to be aware of the scam these people are. There are other seal coaters out there, I will use one of them. read more

Have used Pagni's Sealcoating in the past without any issues. This year they called with a time frame of when they would arrive, we were told to leave the payment taped to the door if we wouldn't be home. They came and sealcoated our driveway with our cars in the garage, never knocked on the door (we have 2 BIG dogs that alert us when someone is at the door), put their line and sign at the end of the driveway and left without payment. When I called, the lady that answered the phone blamed us stating we knew when they would be coming; I told her the payment wasn't on the door so we thought for sure they'd knock (they always have in the past); her answer was they request or take their payment after they complete the driveway (if the payment wasn't there one would think they would check to see if someone was home). We had to drive across the driveway less than an hour after it was applied. I just can't believe we were blamed for not knowing they were there. read more

Very frustrated customers!! We called weeks ahead and scheduled a day/time for seal coating. They never called or showed up, so WE had to call and they said they would be there the next day between 1-5. We had a large party coming up and we're counting on them to fix our driveway. They showed up (supposedly) at 11 am--2 hours earlier than expected ---on the next day and saw a car parked temporarily in our driveway. They drove by and never came back. When we called later, they said they had taken a picture of a car in our driveway as proof at 1:30pm and the man by the car said to "go away". They blatantly lied! They never stopped and the person parked said nothing to them. Our neighbor saw them drive by at 11am and just keep driving! That night the owner called my husband at 11:45pm yelling at him making it seem like it was OUR fault!! He then said he would come do it for free and never showed up for that OR returned our calls!!
