This is the worst trash company I have ever dealt with. Have not received a bill in months. When you call they are just nasty over the phone to make payments. They tell you to use your bill to pay online. Haven't gotten one of those is months. They claimed to have sent me information to set up online payments via email, never received. When I told them about that, the girl on the phone got a bitchy attitude. Took my trash can without warning. The worst company. The only one in town, so what are you supposed to do? I cant understand the bad reviews below. I have never had a problem with Pahrump Valley Disposals customer service. They are always on time, they are friendly and curious. Heck there have been times when I forgot it was pick up day and called them at 4pm to tell them.i forgot to bring the can to the curb and they sent a guy out to pick up my trash at no extra charge. I take large loads of stuff to the dump sometimes and I can honestly say I have never been to a dump where the employees are has happy and friendly as they are here. read more

I called with an issue. The "girls" because that is how they behave, not like woman, certainly NOT like customer service reps and there they may call NICOLE office manager, but she is not behaving like any sort of manger! Nicole, who claimed to be the office manager and claimed also to be a great customer service rep and manger. and after all, if she is the manager and she says so--that means it is so. Want to disagree--she can raise your bill! Additionally , NICOLE, the supposed office manager refuses to give her full name. It is this customers opinion that Nicole and the staff that she manages (uh oh) have no idea what customer service is, never mind how To manage Anything! Took me HOURS to get my issue resolved--WHY? Because the girls thought it was cute to just hang up- on me? Had to call back (only to be hung up on AGAIN more than 5x. Finally perhaps one of them had a lightbulb moment and realized I WILL NOT STOP calling back, I HAVE to keep calling back--I have no other option. Thankfully NICOLE finally after admitting that it was SHE who told her employees to simply hang up on me if I called back (huh Wha?) resizing (because if I could get a word in before the hang up I would say. I have no choice so I am going to keep calling back. I think NICOLE finally heard a few words each time I called and realized I would find out who to report this unprofessional and abusuive actions to, and finally agreed to have the Operations Manager come speak to me! Amazing . Mike (the operations manager)behaved professionally, AND was able to resolve the issue easily! hopefully he is true to what he said. . He gave me his business card which of course includes his name and title. What manager is unwilling to tell you this/her name unless they are afraid because he/she knows he/she is doing Wrong? What manager tells the,reps to HANG UP on customers. The attitude of this immature, lacking training and professionalism staff is 'you cannot go elsewhere, so we can do say and do whatever we want. This is unacceptable for any customer service rep, but especially unacceptable when the business is a monopoly and the citizens have no i other option or choice! I do not know if training will help.. but theses girls need to be reprimanded and given training or the company needs to get people in there that know a little about what they are doing. It might be "only trash",and it might not be a BIG DOLLAR amount, but to not only behave but come right out SAY we can do,what we want, YOU HAVE no choice is NOT ACCEPTABLE!! To not only hang up, but tell EVERYONE in office, if they hear it is this customer HANG UP-- UNACCEPTABLE! I would have given MIKE 5 STARS. customer service is a joke. they have a monopoly in the trash service here so they dont care about anything. I am buying a dump trailer to pull behind my pickup. I would rather spend 4k then give these people any more of my money. nye county residence can take trash to the dump for free and its right across the street from pahrump valley disposals office. read more

As far as we're concerned, their price is reasonable, they are always on time, they provide adequate containers, and we have never had a problem. Yes...going to the dump is free; however, we save that trip for large loads and not your everyday household garbage pickup. We pay the bill on time, they pick up the garbage. It's just that simple. We are happy they have a garbage pickup here in Pahrump. read more
