I like a place with a small menu when they do that menu exceptionally well. I love the burgers here, very flavorful. The onion rings are good too. I haven't tried much else, but I see many people ordering the root beer and floats. They look great, but I never have room for more. The staff are friendly. Service is fast, especially considering the massive amount of business they do. I've only been to the Lecanto location, there is another one in Inverness. I always eat in. Every time there is at least one visitor from out of town from word of mouth, their supply/delivery drivers stop there to eat. Even the customers are always friendly. read more

The service is relatively quick and everyone is very friendly. Much better than McDonalds and Burger King. Kind of like Steak n Shake in that the hamburger is fresh and mashed down thin on the grill. Homemade root beer is a welcome change from regular soft drinks. The place is always busy but the self service ordering is fast and the food arrives fresh and hot. 1st of all: REAL Root Beer is NEVER served on ice. Well, it is at this place. When I asked the waitress if it was real draught root beer, she said she only served it. This is the best burger place in the area. Small restaurant, but the orders come up very fast. The burgers are similar to Shake and Steak. You can get a single, double or triple. French fry orders are large and can be split between 2 people. I love the homemade chocolate shakes! Its worth cheating on your diet to come here. Very clean and friendly staff. I love a good burger and fries and this place did not disappoint. The restaurant is small (8 tables) very clean and the lady behind the counter was very friendly. It only took about 4-5 minutes to get my food The burgers are a lot like those at Steak and Shake, only better. The french fries remind me of the kind you used to get at McDonald's -- only these are 10 times better and served piping hot. The chocolate milkshake was good. Not great. The whipped topping needs to be changed to real whipped cream.. I will definitely go back here often and I am telling my friends about it. read more

I called in advance to see if there would be any way they could bring my order out to me. The lady said yes, it wasn't a problem. However when I got there a guy answered the phone. I told him my name and said what the lady had told me. Long story short I ended up having to get my 3 small kids (1infant) out of the car and go inside. I would have just went to McDonald's instead if I would have known that. It is difficult getting 3 kids out that can't unbuckle/ buckle themselves. I was willing to tip them extra for coming out. The food is good here, but I'm not coming back. To make it worse, when I got home the fries were really cold. We have had good experiences here before, but the bad one is the one that will stick out in my mind. read more

winner of the bite of Inverness for their little big burger Paiges is a great little burger joint. they aren't very big but the food is very flavorful. the shakes are outstanding, they make each one by hand but it's well worth the wait, and the root beer comes in a frosty mug and is very good as well. my wife and I stopped in the second night they were open about two weeks ago. they have the original stand over in Lecanto, I think it's still open but I'm very gland they opened this one it's only a mile or so from my house. it is a cash business, but they have an ATM right there. I always order the double cheese burger and add bacon, lettuce, tom, most toppings are extra. not to worry though, we got two burgers, fries, and two shakes for around $16. read more
