Food was very tasty and we all cleaned our plates, even my very picky elderly step father. But the highlight of the experience was our server - Bobbi V. She was AMAZING! Super attentive, so good with my elderly parents who can be tough and overall such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with! She is also one of the bartenders so be sure to stop and see her at the bar too! It was a very nice way to spend the afternoon!

Well, if it's never happened to you then you probably haven't been to Blackwater Grill and Bar. I came in looking forward to the comedy show and dinner I and 3 others came for and a guy who was a bartender/ host ( maybe?) said you can't go upstairs because we were early ( 15 minutes to showtime). He then walked away without out welcoming us or suggesting that we have a drink at the bar, he just walked away. The waiter upstairs was preygood considering how overwhelmed he was due to the rush and understaffed bought over a glasses of swamp that looked and tasted like it had sea-monkeys from the 70's. No bottled water for sale. At the end of the show, one of the comedians announced that the show had a tip bucket that you could leave 'tips for them and he stood in the exit doorway with a bucket, partially blocking the exit ( worse than outside a Walmart or WaWa ) then the bright laser bean lights came on before anyone got a check. The service was so friendly. Our server Maddie knew the entire menu and treated us fantastically. They added a gluten free and vegan menu. For Lil old homosassa....wow. the pierogis were delicious with perfectly roasted veggies. We also had the Mahi and wahoo fish dip. Some people did not enjoy it, but its a classic fish dip and I thought it was fresh. I had the chicken BLT and I loved it. Gourmet sandwhich. I tasted the parmesano shrimp and the fish. Holy Moly it was delicious, flakey and buttery. We definitely would recommend this. Its not a fancy place, its easy and casual but so delicious. Next time hopefully we can enjoy sitting out back.

Even without a reservation, the hostess seated us within five minutes, which was a fantastic start. To help us beat the Florida heat, they thoughtfully brought us iced water right away without us even asking. We started with the cocktails: I ordered the 'Firefly' and my friend got the 'I'm Trini & I know it'--both were wonderfully light and refreshing. For appetizers, we went with the Foie Gras (GF) and the Scallops. Both were exceptionally succulent, delicious, and plated with the fine-dining presentation they deserved. Since our first round went so well, we ordered a second. My friend loved the Firefly so much they got another, while I tried the 'Meet me in Maui,' which I thoroughly enjoyed. The second Firefly wasn't quite as spot-on as the first--perhaps a shift change behind the bar--but we still enjoyed them all. With our second drinks, we ordered the main course: lamb chops with a side of vegetables, cooked medium-rare. We planned to share the meal and specifically asked for the mushrooms on the side since they weren't gluten-free. Unfortunately, when the dish arrived, the mushrooms were placed right on top of the vegetables beneath the lamb. The server was extremely apologetic when we pointed it out (likely a simple miscommunication given that we were sharing), so we just picked them off and placed them on my plate. A quick note on the lamb: we ordered medium-rare, but next time I'll probably go for medium-well, as it was a bit too tender for our preference--though still remarkably tasty. Surprisingly, the vegetables ended up being the unexpected star of the plate! Lastly we ordered desserts, They got the Creme Brulee (GF) and I got the Chocolate Hazelnut Cake of which I tried both, and they were exquisite. I wish I had a larger portion. Especially of the hazelnut cake with shavings of coconut on it. It came out looking like a piece of art when placed on the table. Despite the minor hiccup with the mushrooms, the service was wonderfully prompt, and the overall experience was fantastic. The ambiance is seductive, attractive, and features a gorgeous artistic mural--making it an ideal spot for a sophisticated adult night out. (They also have a private space across the street for larger parties and events.) We were both completely satisfied and will definitely be returning, either together or separately, to try more of their incredible menu. Highly recommended!" My friend ordered a salad and a cup of clam chowder which tasted and had the conststancy of warm potato salad. It did have a few clams it. Also the noise level with a lot of people in that room was very high. I had hoped that this place was going to my go-to place when I had guests in town, but I guess they have a way to go before I commit to that.

It's supposed to be a pub feel but there is burgers, spaghetti, fajitas and then Indian food. It is all over the place. The Chicken Tikka was not flavored at all like authentic Indian food. The naan came out cold and flavorless. Think thicker flour tortilla . Service wasn't bad. Our waitress Liz was polite and continued to check on us. Our onion rings came out late and because of that were removed from our check. All in all, we won't be back. Even if we were locals this a hard pass.

Our server was the only one there and honestly, she was fabulous. The bang bang shrink was delicious. The sauce was not spicy at all so it didn't hurt to eat my meal.
