My friend and I signed up in the afternoon for a 7pm class, and when we arrived about 15 minutes early, everything was already perfectly set up with our names. So cute and so organized! We got settled in and class started right on time. It's such a fun experience, no matter who you go with. Even if you're not artsy at all, you can absolutely do this and have a blast. The instructors make it easy and enjoyable. I also signed up for their rewards system and even got a coupon for my next visit -- love that! Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back soon!

There were about ten of us in the class, and that ensured a…read morelot of great variety, as everyone is encouraged to draft up and carve spoons in whatever style they can imagine. (I admittedly went with a fairly traditional spoon design as I have never really carved before, but some of the folks here gave their spoons handles that were zig-zagged or had wild faves in them.) The instructor was very helpful, attentive, and fun, engaging us all in conversation as we whittled/carved. All the tools provided were of great quality, and they offer a ton of other classes that also seemed really interesting, with one of the people in the class talking up having taken stain glass earlier. I went solo, as did several other folks at my table, so it was a good mix of individuals, couples, and groups all coming together for spoons! It was really fun and I'll likely be back, either to make another spoon or to check out another class.

The owner called us and asked if we were still coming and we quicky made our way over there, at 1:40. Even though we were 40 minutes late the owner was understanding and super nice! We each got some wine (you have to pay seperately for it) and she started the lesson. She was very descriptive and that helped us follow along and keep at her pace. We were lucky enough that it was just the two of us in the studio that day. She came around and offered more paint when we needed it and gave us some techique suggestions. Overall it was a wonderful experience and one that we will be doing again! Beautiful clean space with a TON of glaze options and clay bodies. Lots of wheels and hand building space and love that it is 24/7, so you can work late at night if that is when you are feeling creative. Also in my opinion the kiln turnaround time is pretty quick. It is always exciting looking through the shelves and finding your pieces. I recommend starting out with a class or two so you can experience everything before committing to membership. Lots of really great teachers too.
