She was immediately condescending and rude. She said, "Dear, I'm in the MIDDLE of OPENING and I'M the MANAGER and you can just go to the box office people and WORK IT OUT WITH THEM," and hung up on me. I never asked for a manager. I just needed help. They clearly don't have a real support system. No one was available to handle a simple ticketing issue. After everything I spent to attend, including hotel and airfare, being dismissed like that was unacceptable.

My son had to write his name every morning when he came in, and he would often come home with several creative worksheets, coloring pages etc. They were extremely consistent with the writing and it set a great expectation that is now paying off for him in Kindergarten. Staff were enthusiastic and naturally gifted with children. They did a great job balancing the days between physical activity and "seat work," and there was also plenty of less-structured time to dance and play. Payments were a little more haphazard than I'd like. They aren't set up with online payment options / reminders, so it was usually me just trying to remember when and if I paid each month. There was incomplete construction, wasted space, and the whole venue smelled like a stinky sock for what seemed like a decade. Now there's a new ownership which has really turned the place around. They cleaned, remodeled, painted, added big screen TVs and arcade gizmos, enlarged the rink, and continues to make improvements. There are still a lot of imperfections and I have complaints, but I will come back here again and again because I always have a good time skating with friends. Recently I've been there on adult night, Thursday. Thank goodness for this 18+ day, because I've skated here many times when there are a bunch of careless kids on the rink that appear to me only as hazards that I have to dodge constantly. The 90's nostalgia that Roller Valley had in the 2010's is mostly gone. The place feels newer and the soundtrack is almost always what the younger generation is into. Song requests are accepted and the result is a smorgasbord of music that I can't relate to. I think this is the reason why I see several skaters wearing noise cancelling earbuds, so they can jam to their preferred music while they roll. Staff is a mixed bag but I expect nothing more as the service industry in today's job market is kind of bonkers. Some staff appear longing to be anywhere else as they impatiently operate the credit card machine, while others rolling around on quad skates sport a cheery smile and happily greet patrons. I liked the food I tried. Gone are the sticky licorice ropes available during my childhood, present are some tasty breaded fries which came recommended. Just another sign that Roller Valley is moving forward and exists in the here and now. My biggest complaints with Roller Valley in 2022 are related to cleanliness and restroom privacy. I repeatedly smelled a moldy odor near the rink's entrance. Another frustration is the lack of urinal partitions in the men's restroom, as well as the extremely short toilet partition which I think I could see over if I were brave enough to sit down. TL;DR: Give Roller Valley a chance. The atmosphere here is relaxed and fun. Things are imperfect, just like us. Don't let that stop you from having good times and making memories.

I had no idea it wasn't allowed however it was apparently in the waivers but I missed that. You sign about 10 waivers. They also charged me a $25 fee because my card didn't go through. She claims she reached out to me multiple times about payment but she only said something ONE time after I questioned her about the fee. Also, the restroom situation is crazy to me. You have mamas in there with young children. Not allowed to use the bathroom. This company only cares about the money and not the students. Do yourself and more importantly your child a favor and go somewhere else.
