I've been coming here since I was in elementary school. I'm in my 30's now and Roller Valley has changed in good ways. There was a point when Roller Valley was run down. There was incomplete construction, wasted space, and the whole venue smelled like a stinky sock for what seemed like a decade. Now there's a new ownership which has really turned the place around. They cleaned, remodeled, painted, added big screen TVs and arcade gizmos, enlarged the rink, and continues to make improvements. There are still a lot of imperfections and I have complaints, but I will come back here again and again because I always have a good time skating with friends. Recently I've been there on adult night, Thursday. Thank goodness for this 18+ day, because I've skated here many times when there are a bunch of careless kids on the rink that appear to me only as hazards that I have to dodge constantly. The 90's nostalgia that Roller Valley had in the 2010's is mostly gone. The place feels newer and the soundtrack is almost always what the younger generation is into. Song requests are accepted and the result is a smorgasbord of music that I can't relate to. I think this is the reason why I see several skaters wearing noise cancelling earbuds, so they can jam to their preferred music while they roll. Staff is a mixed bag but I expect nothing more as the service industry in today's job market is kind of bonkers. Some staff appear longing to be anywhere else as they impatiently operate the credit card machine, while others rolling around on quad skates sport a cheery smile and happily greet patrons. I liked the food I tried. Gone are the sticky licorice ropes available during my childhood, present are some tasty breaded fries which came recommended. Just another sign that Roller Valley is moving forward and exists in the here and now. My biggest complaints with Roller Valley in 2022 are related to cleanliness and restroom privacy. I repeatedly smelled a moldy odor near the rink's entrance. Another frustration is the lack of urinal partitions in the men's restroom, as well as the extremely short toilet partition which I think I could see over if I were brave enough to sit down. TL;DR: Give Roller Valley a chance. The atmosphere here is relaxed and fun. Things are imperfect, just like us. Don't let that stop you from having good times and making memories. read more

All new staff not as outgoing or friendly as the old crew... they dont do bday shout outs to a little kid without a birthday package lol not a big deal but I wasnt buying a bday package for a party of 2 kids . . . We rented a scooter since one kid never skated before amd they failed to tell us that they were little tiny short ones, so that didn't work and we had to then do rollar blades with a white thing that cost 12 bucks not to mention the only tall one was broke so the kid had to use a little short one of those too which was painful to watch lol . . the rollar skate session of 5 hours turned into 4 hours with them closing an hour early since there was only a handful of people there ... which was probley why they were charging as much as possible for everything they could... even with buying arcade cards, food, drinks, toys from the concession booth just not worth going anymore, rollar valley used to be so much fun now it's all about money, not my kind of hangout anymore we used to feel welcomed, helped and happy here... just not the same happy vibe anymore as it used to be. read more

Roller Valley is a fun place to go skate with friends! The DJ is engaging and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the facility and its amenities are all pretty outdated. Cleanliness of the facility I feel could be a lot better as well. My biggest complaint however is that the roller blades are pretty bad. They are cheap quality, old, and they left me with several painful blisters. The blades hurt the second I put them on and it was not a comfortable or very enjoyable skating experience. I could only skate for less than an hour because they hurt so bad. They smelled too. As I didn't use the roller skates, I can't speak on their quality. I would recommend bringing your own blades. Overall it's a fun place to skate with a big group of people but not sure I'll come back very often. Pain was not worth it lol. Updated review as owner responded. Too kind, thank you Ps. This place brought back so many memories. Back in the day, I used to practically live at Skate West (long since gone away) in Kennewick. This place has a HUGE skate floor, and the staff does a pretty good job of keeping things safe and fun. Fast skate, couples, race, limbo, all that fun roller rink stuff. Their concessions are a bit steep but to just come skate is pretty reasonable. Some sessions mom and dad are free, which makes dad smile. My only real gripe is they don't have half size rental skates, but as old as the skates are you could probably go down half a size and be ok because there is some stretch in the leather. My daughter and I attended a skate session my college sponsored for students and we had a great time. My daughter is not a strong skater and was using one of those trainers you push ahead of you like a walker. She fell during sharks and minnows was pretty upset and crying, and I was very impressed with the staff's response. Three employees came right over to help. Two of them helped my daughter get her skates off so she could walk off the skating floor, and a third brought ice for her to put on the bruised area. They were all so kind and helpful. read more

Everything was good! I suggest calling to confirm your party reservation. Our party started at 3pm but we had to wait for parties to end and get cleaned up before we could set up for our party. The speakers are right by the party tables so you can't hear a thing over the lou music, but the kids had fun and everything went ok. read more

So the prices have doubled on Tuesdays and Thursdays, although they have yet to update that information on their website or phone recordings. Can't speak for other days of the week. My biggest gripe is that my BOGO Sav Around coupons keep getting denied. I'm told they are only valid on Fridays & Saturdays even though it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon. I guess they'd rather lose the full $10, which they will because I'm personally going to hand out all my coupons to make sure they are used to their full potential. read more

We had my daughter's 6th birthday party here. It was very easy to reserve and plan the party. The person who contacted me to confirm my reservation was easy to get ahold on via email and responded very quickly to my questions. My daughter and her friends had a blast. It was extremely and 90 percent of the guests were without masks. The only reason I did not provide 5 stars is because the staff and business do not follow Covid mandate recommendations. If a business that serves food does not follow the health recommendations of wearing a mask, I get nervous to know what other state health mandates they disregard because they do not view the rules as necessary or important. I want to know that people handling my food take the protocols seriously. It also has me question what other shortcuts they are willing to take regarding safety and maintenance of their equipment and business if they are unwilling to follow a simple mask mandate. read more

This roller skating rink is the best roller skating rink I have ever been to. The food was very yummy and a very good price! The employees were very warm and nice to my kids. The adult nights are awesome and very nice to go to with adults and spend some time away from our kids. They had some very fun arcade games and my kids spent most of their allowance on these arcade games but they told me it was worth it! They had some FUN games on the rink and some good chances of winning some cool prizes it was pretty cool. my kids loved their pizza and nachos and their slushies! This place can be like the wild west of skating (kids going every which way). It was chaotic and unpredictable, but fun when the games weren't going on, which was about every third song. Floor was good, house music was decent, and personal music was allowed. We had a good time but were a bit frustrated and disappointed with all the time devoted to games. read more

I am a caregiver for developmentally disabled adult's. We brought a small group in last Tuesday to have some fun and we were given the best treatment and respect.The manager let us come to the front of the line out of the cold and made sure everyone was having a good time.All of the staff were great. read more

This place was awful. We attended the Easter event which was our first and only experience we will have. Very unorganized, you paid 8.00 to get in said there would be craft and games... you had to pay extta for the craft and there were 2 games which nearly never had anyone running them. Mostly full of vendors that were charging for everything. We were there for over an hour and never saw the Easter Bunny. When I approached the manager she was extremely volatile and rude, she was cussing, calling me a liar telling me I should not expect much as this was their first year And something about the rain. I was calm and continued to talk to her in a soft tone as she continued to cuss and scream telling me I couldn't read and that wasn't her fault, she then called me a liar about the bunny being out, several employees and other adults turned to watch her antics, she basically told me to leave and she would give me my money back which I told her was fine, asked her who employeed her and she kept insisting No one, until I finally asked who owned the place. Came here for my daughters 14th birthday. They were over reserved didn't have enough blades for half the people there. After stating my concerns and how the kids can't skate in regular skates. Was told well there's skates available it's not a big deal. it is a big deal to 14 year old!! Customer service was horrible. They kept my $50 deposit and changed me for a pizza and 2 pitcher of Soda I was there for 30 minutes!!!! I will never bring my family back to this facility. Way to ruin a 14 year olds birthday. read more

They have cleaned this place up pretty significantly from the last owner. There is a lot more pride of ownership now. I thought it seemed a little spendy, but they are probably trying to recoup the cost of the renovations. The staff was nice and they had a cool training apparatus for kids who need a little extra help staying balanced.....but it will run you 2.50. And for anyone who remembers the ratty bouncy house at the end of the rink that was surrounded by old mattresses (yes, this is actually true!), it is gone! Side note: the parking lot is configured ridiculously and I was trapped in by a Toyota corrolla.......make sure to park as close to the gate as you can and not the row behind it or you too make be stuck in your minivan in a roller rink parking lot. read more

The owners of this place have a child/children that goes to the same school that I go to, the owners agreed for us to plan a field trip here for the entire school on a Thursday when it's usually closed. I learned how to rollerblade here and honestly... it was amazing! The food did take a while to be prepared... but it tasted okay for me. The rentals were just fine so I really don't see why people are complaining about the skates/blades stinking, I saw that the workers always spray the skates with a disinfectant spray after the users of the rentals turn them in (maybe it is because I came here after they started cleaning rentals) I love most of the games there and it's amazing here! The remodel has been great for Roller Valley! It's a great place to visit and lots of fun! Not too expensive and they've really improved the music from what it was in the past. It is very family friendly and welcoming to all experience levels. read more

I rented this facility for a private event and the staff was super nice and accomodating. They even let us use our own music.

This place is disgusting. The WHOLE establishment smells like dirty feet. I only wore a pair of roller blades for 15 minutes before they wore my ankle and outside of my foot raw. My sons skates were completely missing one of the tongues and I'm almost curtain weren't from the same pair of skates. The skates and blades aren't kept up or replaced when not wearable anymore. The staff is a bunch of disrespectful teenagers, that are just standing around playing with their tongue piercings. If I had known what this place looked like inside before planning my sons birthday there, I never would have gone to begin with. This place is horrible. I highly recommend having the health department check out what risks can come from their improperly cleaned rental footwear. I was embarrassed to have invited friends and family to an establishment like this. That is all. read more

Not a lot of choice, since this is one of only two roller rinks in Spokane. The skate floor is in decent condition, but everything else is atrocious. Filthy stained carpet, warped benches to sit on, freezing temperatures and worn out boots on the blades. The saddest, hardest hot dog bun I've ever been served, and the slushee was made with stale syrup or ice, I'm not sure which. Gross. I'll stick to bottled water if we return. I'm not sure I can handle the horrible DJ again. read more

Okay, only writing this review to quickly warn that rink is NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE TO ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIRS. I recently dropped off my daughter for a church youth activity. When I came back to pick her up she told me her chair wouldn't fit through any of the entrances onto the deck so she just watched the other kids skate and play pool. I wish she'd called me--I would have brought manual chair for the other kids to push her around. There's just few group activities like this that people using wheelchairs can participate in (she's really enjoyed the ice skating in her manual at Riverfront Park). It's a shame that a few inches of space kept my daughter from enjoying what could have been a really fun evening with friends. Place seemed clean enough, didn't smell or anything, but just a smidge of remodelling would make it accessible to the handicap community. read more

This place is a dive & filthy dirty. The skate rentals had broken shoe laces & missing tongues. Once returned, we even noticed the teenage help didn't bother to clean them, just returned them to the shelf. Lazy. I was even more disappointed that I couldn't get a refund for the skates when my 3 year old decided she didn't want to have anything to do with them. We had only tried for about 15min before I requested a refund & was given the comment "We don't do refunds" My 5 year old wasn't interested either. I understand it was a risk I had to take with kids this age, however, I believe a business being around this long would be much better at what to expect & either post signs or warn us as we came in. The North side skating rink at least offers walkers the kids can use to help learn to skate, much more kid friendly. Very unfriendly staff all around & the floors, tables & shoes are disgustingly dirty!! I would NOT recommend!! read more
