Nice collection of gifts but I experienced horrible customer service…read more So, I walked in and said a friendly "hello" the lady behind the counter saw me but did not acknowledge me, kept talking to her colleague/customer - after I decided on an item I wanted to buy, I came over to the counter and stood there to check out, she saw me, never acknowledged me, she proceeded to answer the phone instead before helping me - then, muttered a question, "is this a gift", I politely said "yes it is" - she never said another word, proceeded to wrap it up, put the receipt in the bag and pushed it towards me while she muttered, "thanks" in a very brash @ unfriendly manner. In a world where you can be anything, please be kind and polite. Nice collection for gifts though.

And, because it was a convenience store, there is a bank of coolers with six packs of local beer, Locopops and ready-to-go-meals- craziness! The store is organized by vignette and theme, making browsing fun. I found the prices to be really good, especially on the jewelry, which is displayed on tables and probably 25% of the inventory. She showed me around the store and told me the story behind the business and the venders she supports. She also shared the range of price points on items in her store. The clothing range from $30-70. There were only a few pieces over $100. They also carry jewelry ranging from $16-$80 dollars. I know what you might be thinking kind of pricey, but the brands of jewelry they carry are empowering others. The brands restore power and offer outreach to women who have experienced challenges. IE: Addiction, homelessness or have been victims of human trafficking. There's a limited selection of jewelry, a nice change of pace from other like stores; and the body lotions and scrubs are in not-so-common scents. I love the women who work here and all their positive energy. This store is home to so much of our culture and history. The art work is beautiful, the vendors pour their hearts and souls into the merchandise and I love being able to spread wealth amongst my own people. I hope they are here to stay. My friend bought trendy sunglasses, vaginal steam herbs, Greek paraphernalia. I even scored a free pecan brownie today with my purchase. They sell herbs, seasonings, snacks, juices, clothing, jewelry. If you make it and it's black owned they sell it ! I love that this is home to so many talented black vendors. I can't wait to return for some cool t-shirts and other finds.
