I cannot believe painting out old cabinate in black it made the whole kitchen like fresh brand new modern stylish it's unbelieve how our kitchen turned out . We had a small gathering for my daghter birthday and everyone was shocked and amazed at how nice our kitchen looks. Even one of our gust commented that we built brand new cabinate o told them it's all new fresh paint they were so anazid . I'm so grateful to knowing and worked with such amazing crew . It's like hiring a shady used car salesman to paint your home. Awful quality, customer service, and punctuality. No preparation before painting which has resulted in the house needing new paint within a year. Constantly babysitting the company just to get the bare minimum of a completed job. Multiple times I missed appointments and work meetings as we had scheduled time to meet only to have a no call no show. Always has a big story how they will fix this and that or it will look good at the end but it's all just a big charade. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the permanent eyesore on your home. Hire a real professional with actual standards. These guys are incompetent hacks. Never again. I live in Sacramento, CA and found Painters of the Valley LLC on my local Craigslist pages.I contacted Daniel and he had someone available to come to my house very quickly to provide a free estimate. They provided a very reasonable estimate for my house, some dry rot work on the house and my deck/ gazebo. I live in an HOA community and thus needed to get my paint colors approved by the board. Daniel offered to help with that portion of the approval process as well. Once the HOA approved the color palette, Daniels team began working on my house. They did a first class job on the wood work as well as the stucco patching on the house. I had several stucco penetrations from cables and wires. Once everything was patched and painted It was hard to identify where the initial holes were at. With all that said, they completed the job in a timely manner and after a walkthrough only minor touch up/ cleaning was needed (a few drips of paint on the concrete) . Overall, I would recommend their services due to the reasonable price and attention to detail. At the end of the day, I now have a great looking exterior and I'm happy I didn't have to do the work myself. read more

Painters of the Valley did a horrible job painting the exterior of our house. The painter Daniel sent out did not know what he was doing. Left streaks, over sprayed, and misunderstood what we wanted. These are just a few of problems with the botched paint job. Tried to contact Daniel on the issues, he would not return our calls. The job was to big for one person. Daniel only showed up when it was time to be payed. They left unused paint open and did not clean up their mess. I'm warning anyone not to use Painters of the Valley. They might be one of the cheapest costs out there, but that speaks to the quality of their work. They will not come back to resolve issues, they didn't complete the job (always would want me to come look in the evening when it was hard to see), paint peeling after a few months, nail pops immediately. Based on a referral from the previous homeowner, I called Daniel to paint the interior of my house and bathroom cabinets prior to me moving in. (They did a nice job on the kitchen cabinets in the house.) Daniel was friendly and responsive and was quick to give me an estimate, although he was never on time. The crew was friendly and did a decent paint job (minus overspray in some areas, paint on some faucets and fans, and some missed spots). The were supposed to remove lighting fixtures in one bathroom and paint the wall behind them.... they didn't. And although they removed wall plates prior to painting, they left them in a pile on the floor and took ALL the wall plate screws with them when they left. They didn't return with the screws or replace the wall plates. Then I found out that he used the wrong paint. I gave them the exact brand (Behr), color, and sheen of the paint because I knew exactly what I wanted. They used Dunn Edwards, without telling me, which led to several unnecessary trips to the paint store and more money out of my pocket. Finally, when it came time to paint the cabinets, Daniel and his partner were six hours late. They had to paint in the dark (using a cell phone light) because there were no light fixtures in the bathroom. The cabinets looked fine (in the dark) so I paid him in full even though he said he would return the following Monday to take care of the wall plates. The next morning I noticed that they missed several spots on the cabinets, which I pointed out to him via text, and that they didn't paint baseboards in the bathroom, which was requested. He said he would fix it but he didn't show up/text/call on the day he was supposed to come. He responded two days later saying he would come back, but after almost two weeks of unanswered texts and calls, I had to purchase new wall plate screws, replace wall plates, and fix the paint. I'm a business owner. I understand that personal circumstances come up. However, if personal circumstances are preventing the owner from responding to customers for days/weeks, they should hire someone who can. read more

Wow! I am amazed at how well my cabinets turned out. Daniel and Rick were professional and easy to work with. However the real hero's were Ramon and Alex who did the work. Terrible experience from day one with this company. They took for ever on prepping the job said it she take a few days to complete, were here for almost 2 weeks. Daniel is not very responsive to calls or texts unless he is coming to get paid. Recently noticed paint chipping in the eves and other spots completely missed, texted him the pictures, no response. I asked for a status update, he said we have you on the schedule for next week. Well that week came and went and still no reponse from him. I finally texted him and said to cancel the job, Ill find someone else who can do it right the first time. Very unprofessional, lack of communication, and no customer service skills, especially after he gets paid! Will never use this company again. read more

They came in with a large crew and completed in just a few days!! Everything was taped off carefully. The quality of work is exceptional and the professionalism that Daniel delivered was incredible. I had a final walk through at the very end with all the work that they had done and the small issues were resolved right then and there. My cabinets look absolutely beautiful!!! We had Painters of the Valley paint the cabinets in our kitchen, hall, & bathrooms. While they did fix what we asked them to while they were here, we've had an impossible time communicating with them since they got paid. We were told they were almost finished putting on rubber door stoppers just before they left, & none were done. They borrowed a door hinge to match the paint to our existing doors & have not returned it after 2 weeks. We had to take off and put on 8 drawer fronts because they were put on upside down, have noticed several areas where the paint (lacquer, which Daniel told us was worth the extra money since it "is like car paint and won't ever come off") has chipped just from hitting it with a fingernail, & have had chipping problems with the hinges. My husband has to call Daniel from his multiple phones just to get him to answer since he keeps saying he'll call back to come out & fix these issues but doesn't. YEA Top 10 yelp kitchen cabinets. company he says lol you mean top 5 fraud company LOL Does NOT stand by "100% customer satisfaction guarantee." read more

I was in need of having the exterior of my house painted. Called Painters Of The Valley and received a reply quickly. Scheduled to meet within a day. Was given a reasonable price quote. Was able to scheduled to have the paint job started on a convenient day. They came out prep the house in one day and painted it the next very. I inherited a very old weather beaten home. Paint chipping stucco needing to be done. You name it I need it on this house. It was in bad shape. They put in a lot of work to make my house look decent. And I really appreciated their hard work. I also had two security screen doors installed. There was a problem with one of the doors it was too big. I hesitated writing a review but the more mistakes I've found throughout the house, it just boils me that I had to yelp this painting company. We decided to go with Daniel's painting company P.O.V. Painters because we felt it was the best deal and Daniel seems professional and ethical. However, it did not translate to being very detail oriented when it comes to painting. He and his crew took about two days to paint and by the end of day two, I felt that they had rushed the job. My wife and I had to point out several different area that they had missed (More mistakes that we are noticing everyday), they got over spray all over my kitchen counters, bathrooms, carpets, and ceiling. I noticed that they had paint on my carpet, tiles, and doors. And when they were getting ready to leave, I noticed 2 crew member open my 'new' fridge and grab all of their 'stuff', what the hell? Don't kid yourself with their advertisement of 20 years of experience and 100% customer satisfaction.
