Such a relaxed fun evening here painting to celebrate a friends birthday. I love a good hands-dirty creative session and there's less space than there should be to have them in my ever more adult life. I loved the instruction, the atmosphere, how easy it is to use the well thought through and laid out equipment. I also love that it's BYO wine. Such a great place to host a casual event or birthday party. They leave a couple of 15 minute breaks throughout the process for paint drying - which is plenty of time to run to the bar next girl to enforce birthday tequila shots on your host! I do wish there were some slightly more edgy / sleeker pictures on their menu - I loved the process but the gaudy bright pictures aren't quite my thing. Offer me some more monochrome city scapes or abstract grey and blue scale paintings and I'll be there ALL the time!

Summertime Wishes, yes, I painted that!

Absolutely fun! I love the whole process from purchasing your seat to taking pictures of our finished painting. You can go online and view their calendar and choose a painting of your liking. Once you arrive they are very welcoming and provide very relaxing atmosphere. We were a group of 7 and they sat us together which I was very pleased with. There was plenty of room and we had a table behind us where we had our drinks and snacks. Our instructor Whit was full of energy and just awesome to work with. I didn't think I can pull off the painting but the steps were so easy that anybody can do it. I had so much fun and will be returning next month!

Wow!! What a great experience. A friend and I went to Paint Your Pet this past Sunday and I could not be more impressed. All the details of our pet's portrait was far beyond anything I could sketch myself. And then they walked us through the entire painting... which could not have been easy considering everyone was painting a different picture. So much fun!! Now don't get me wrong... if you have 2 left hands and are all thumbs they are not going to turn you into the next Rembrandt but I can guarantee everyone will leave with a painting far better than if they tried on their own. Plus it's byob! A must do!!

This experience was MUCH more than I thought it was going to be! I never thought I could pull off painting (and doing so while drinking) a piece of art that I will GLADLY hang on my wall. I enjoyed a pleasant afternoon with a friend where I didn't feel pressured to make a masterpiece!

By far the most fun activity to do in your free time! Ive done about 8 paintings and I will not stop! The staff is awesome! Whitt makes the class stress free and fun! She takes away from the stress of worrying about not doing it right! A lot of people think they can't do this because it will be too hard but they actually make it to where it's so easy!!!!! I love love love this place AND they just opened up a location right near me! I might have to just keep coming to this location. Because I just love the staff! Bring your own beer or wine, relax and have a good time! What ever genius created this place is a genius!!

It was my first time and it won't be my last!! The atmosphere was very relaxing, the staff is super friendly and overall s GREAT experience. I went with 6 of my coworkers and we all reserved online. We were all seated together and we had an extra table behind us so we put our beverages and snacks. The instructor Whit was so awesome! Love her attitude and she did a great job at instructing the class. We had a break in the middle, which was nice. You can drink, eat and talk with others. I highly recommend to try it at least once. I will guarantee you will have FUN!!

I went with a few of my girlfriends. We did painting with your pet. Very friendly and attentive staff, helped me a lot with my pet when I had just about given up. Trust me it was stressful, but the staff and my wine helped me get through it!

The instructor made it easy enough that I could pretend, for 2 hours, that I am good at art :D It was awesome.

Greeted with excitement, owner Rochelle of Board & Brush had me check in on her iPad. Showed me to my seat where we chatted for a bit. I saw my project in its raw form. I'm so excited to tackle this project. This is actually my second time coming so I know a little of what is expected. Rochelle does an amazing job taking you step by step and helping you. Even if you're not a crafter, never even handled a paint brush, Rochelle, and her staff are very patient, and very helpful. You start off with a raw board of pine. You're given a couple minutes to release your stress on the board. Hammering marks using chicken wire, a hammer, a mallet, and a large screw. You'll sand it lightly, and then stain it. Then it's time to stencil. Using a semi dry brush, you'll dab your brush on the stencil. Give it a minute under the fan to dry and peal the stencil off. And you're pretty much done. You get an official Bb logo sticker to complete your project. I recommend signing and dating your project on the back. Viola you're an artist! The Fancy Marshmallow Co. owner, Tina, she is such a sweetheart. She set up her beautiful marshcuterie spread. All made from scratch. Soft, fluffy, and flavorful treats. She has the cutest treats. All kinds of shapes and sizes. My favorite is the strawberry champagne. Trust me, they are amazing. Tina also brought in her hot cocoa mix ingredients and we all got to make our own bag of hot cocoa mix to take home. And we got to pick our goodies from the marshcuterie and box them up in the cutest boxes with heart printed tissue paper. Such a sweet touch to a fun class. I highly recommend coming to Board & Brush. Such a fun girls night out. They are BYOB, so it's a great group celebration. The Fancy Marshmallow, such a cute boutique, I've been several times. Tina comes up with the most delicious home made treats for all holidays and celebrations. Her boutique is the girliest cafes in Cedar Park! So darling. Check them both out. 5 stars!

Painting with a Twist is a fun, casual activity…read morethat fits into just about any occasion, whether it be a date night or just doing something with friends. There are a lot of class options (categorized by what painting you'll be doing) so there's good variety. We chose a very pretty painting which we did not have the foresight to realize would be pretty difficult to paint. Check-in was smooth and the studio is intimate; they also have all materials setup for you ahead of time including aprons. This is also a BYOB spot and many people had wine with them if that's the kind of twist you're looking for. Our instructor was very good during our class. She was genuinely passionate and patient with everyone, doing multiple stops and checks and reassuring us along the way that everything would be fine. This was more of an intermediate level painting that took a bit of skill and finesse so the patient attitude and slow pace was helpful in getting out paintings as close to the original as possible. The only downside to that was the activity ran well over the time we had scheduled for it (2 hours turned into 3-3.5 hours), which forced us to push back a dinner reservation we had made. That's not really a drawback if you have the time and want it to be perfect but for those maybe looking to do something after your painting then it's good to be aware of that. At the end of the event we were genuinely impressed by how well our paintings came out. The attention to detail and instruction make it so that anyone regardless of skill level can come in and put together a painting that would look good on the front of a fridge. They have many different classes and paintings to choose from and for the price it absolutely feels worth it to come back, which we will be doing soon.

Painting can honestly be a little stressful so bringing a bottle of wine definitely helped. Overall I think the price of these events is super fair given the cost of the materials and the time spent by the instructors. I would definitely recommend this for a date night activity!
