I have been frequenting this play street location since they first opened. And we have LOVED having a spot to drop into play. They had a 20 kid limit so we always knew it wouldn't be crowded. The entire concept is great, we buy the five play pass at least once a month if not more. This might be coming to an end because of what happened this morning. My nanny kid has a fractured tibia, play street is a safe option for us because I don't have to worry about dozens of kids tripping over her. We arrived at 9 am after booking a spot online and seeing they had plenty of spots open. The employee who was super nice let me know that they had a large field trip arriving during our play time. The reason we chose and have chosen play street over places like the thinkery because we don't have to battle for space or field trip groups. They should block these time slots out and not have spaces open because this will put them way over their own capacity. I'm not against field trips having places to go to- this is on the franchise owners for trying to accommodate too many people at one time. There needs to be a better system, if there's going to be field trips- find a way to mark it on your schedule so we don't waste our time driving here. read more

PSM is such a wonderful hidden gem. At first glance, I thought it was a real kids museum and figured my 10mo was too little. Fast forward to last week and we had literally nothing to do so we reserved a play time spot for $15. My jaw DROPPED when I saw all the toys and different stations for the kids. It was PERFECT for my bored little guy. Every station gets cleaned between sessions and I loved it. Everything was organized and the place is just so beautiful. I do wish they offered memberships but at $15 for 2 hours, we aren't complaining. The staff are all incredibly wonderful, happy, smiling folks who are so kind to the kids. We're going today and even I'm excited to get the kiddo out to PSM on this rainy day. read more

This was an incredible place for an out of towner like myself traveling with a 15 month old in search for easy entertainment. I would highly recommend this place for a few reasons, $14 for 1.5 hours of play and easy pre packaged snacks to go. Reserve your time slot in advance, luckily we only have to wait 30 minutes because we didn't have a reservation, but there was a barns and nobles a few shops over to kill some time. The one thing that would have really blown this spot out of the park would have been bathroom strap in chairs for little ones, otherwise they're roaming the bathroom with ya! As summer heats up I'm always on the lookout for more indoor play options. Play Street is a fantastic option! Normally there aren't any weekend time slots open since they're fully booked for parties, but I got lucky since a holiday fell on a Sunday. Came right at the beginning of our time slot and everything looked neat and organized like the photos. It's a cute tiny town with a large train set and play vehicles spread about. Even better is that there are a ton more toys and activities like Legos, Magna-tiles, and even a free crafting table. There are other crafts you can do for extra but since I've got a young toddler what was available was more than enough. There are 2 large single restrooms inside and plenty of cubbies for storage. I also liked they had free snacks at the end when you leave. My kiddo was so pooped that they gobbled them up! read more

Don't expect to be treated like a regular. This is a BUSINESS. Some indoor play spaces are for the kids. This place is for the owner. SOMEONE watches from the camera ... then the phone rings... then the teenager at the front desk leaves their station to do the bidding of whoever is creeping on the camera. It's uncomfortable!! Plus, they even charge extra for a 2nd parent to come in!!! Plus, only 1 1/2 hours, instead of 2 hours or unlimited play, that comparable places provide. Spend your money elsewhere.... Little Land, Family Play Barn, Tot Box, Thinkery, just to name a few that are focused on children too, not JUST profit. read more

Family came to visit from out of town and we were looking for some indoor activities to beat the heat. I came across Play Street Museum in a moms group. $14 per child over the age of two and adults are free. Tons of fun to be had for all, the kiddos got to make slime for an extra $7. The missing star is for the girl working the front desk, she was snippy and downright rude at times. If we hadn't already prepaid I would have walked out the door. We drove an hour and twenty minutes to this place and it was just okay. We have been to several children's museums before and many indoor playgrounds and this was just OK for what it is. First of all; the way they utilize the space is crap. Most indoor playgrounds you take your shoes off. They should make the whole place foam and have people take their shoes off . Second of all their branding it feels like you just have to buy more things. For example having a gift shop right in front, having all these additional things you can purchase , it's a no for me. They could have done a lot more with the space. Hate there's no music and it echos very loudly. It feels like you're inside a store or something , not a kids indoor playground. I'm suprised about all the raving reviews . It became sensory overload with the echo-ing of voices. Not much seating for parents. We will not return. Positives were it was very clean, they gave the kids a token for a snack which was cool, and some of the learning and music toys were awesome. It's just not something my family would personally go to again when there are so many more options my kids enjoy a lot more , for example real children's museums like temple Children's museum; little sprouts; little land, family barn, tot box , and things like that have a lot more to offer at a comparable price with a lot more fun things to do. read more

My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves bed this place in his first visit. We will be back.

Cute buildings, nice staff but way too crowded. With the 20+ kids and all the parents in such a small space, we could barely walk around or play with certain items without running into each other. We were all constantly redirecting kids, trying not to bump into others, constant apologizing from and to parents because we had no room. We've been here twice since this location opened and my kids (ages 4 and 6) LOVE it. It's clean , very cute and a more affordable option than similar places like this in Austin. I especially appreciate that a play pass comes with a token to get a free snack on the way out (to soften the blow of having to leave to my kids). The hour and a half reservation time is actually the perfect amount of time for a place like this. We didn't try the slime or paint your own pottery ad ons but plan to give that a try on another day! read more

Hands down this is THE best option for indoor play on hot days. My 3 year old entertained himself for 2 hours straight for $14. This place is truly amazing! Extremely clean, staff was so sweet. Can't wait to go back! Would make for a great party place as well. read more

The girls (4&6) LOVED it!!! All of the displays kept them interested. They participated in painting pottery which was a real treat!! Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff was patient and kind with everyone. The cost was very reasonable. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! am not a review writer. My experience at this place was really so underwhelming that even 3 days after going, I feel compelled to somehow convey the disappointment. Mostly because my child was involved. SO- I was super excited to find out a new "interactive" play space was open in our neighborhood. I'm not sure what it means to be a museum, but this is just a cute play space. The website is fun and welcoming, so much so that I even considered booking my daughters upcoming 8th birthday party here without ever having been inside before. Thank goodness I didn't do that! When we got there and walked in, I was struck by the concept. It's a relatively small and simple space with several different themed areas or rooms. I could immediately see that it's geared more for younger kids but since we were already here and it was really hot I just decided to stay and check it out. It was clean and had good lighting and if you had multiple kids, you could keep an eye on all of them without too much trouble. We were standing a little confused, standing at the counter and had CLEARLY never been here before. The young lady behind the counter offered no information or welcoming attitude of any kind. We didn't know how it worked and she didn't care. I assumed we paid to go through the gates, so I asked her how much it would be to play. My daughter was looking at everything, but wasn't sure about going in to play. Still, no offer of suggestions or information or anything. I asked the girl if we could just walk around the space for 2 minutes so that she could see what was available and she begrudgingly agreed, making sure we understood that it was "just this once." At this point, I was already a little surprised at the lack of general customer service acumen and would have been more than ok with my kiddo saying she didn't wanna stay, but AFTER we looked at all the play areas (which wouldn't have happened unless I asked and wasn't even met with a hospitable attitude when I did ask) my daughter decided to give it a shot. After our 2 minute tour, I told her we would like to stay and play and she asked if we had a reservation. We obviously didn't have a reservation or we wouldn't have been standing there looking confused and unsure, so her asking was essentially another opportunity for her to be less than pleasant. She said that she'd "go ahead and let us in this time, but you're supposed to reserve a time." It was like she was somehow doing US a favor when in reality, we're giving them 30 dollars to play for less than one hour. I asked to pay with cash and she acted like that was a big inconvenience too. In fact, initially she said they couldn't take cash-though there was no sign or anything stating that. There were a couple of other rude moments, but this is probably too long already. Lastly, they have extra activities (not included in the price of admission) like painting and making slime. My Kiddo wanted to do the slime. Again-It was our first time there and had no idea if we had to sign a list or what to be able to do it. Neither of us wanted to ask the front desk lady for any help because she had been so rude and unhelpful already. Finally, we saw another kid at the slime table. So after she was all done, we approached the lady that had been guiding the young girl and asked what we needed to do to make slime. She told us to just go pay for the slime activity at the register. To watch your 7 yr old using her manners AT A BUSINESS THAT IS FOR CHILDREN and be met with an ill-mannered, apathetic and rude attitude is so disappointing. After we paid, we lingered for a minute, not sure if she would come get us or if we were supposed to approach her. She wasn't with any other customers, so I cautiously approached her, told her we paid, and then asked if we should just wait until she came and got us. She harshly replied "yes, that would be great" as if she was super busy. Not nearly as unpleasant as the girl behind the counter, but still not pleasant. When she did get my daughter and do the slime activity with her she seemed a little nicer and kid-friendly. After that, we gladly left. I am in the service industry. I would be embarrassed to know that any of our customers were treated the way we were treated at PlayStreet. When ADULTS are getting paid at a business that caters to families and CHILDREN (who are learning about people and the world from all of these daily interactions) and the employees don't demonstrate a degree of kindness or respect, not only will I not be a return customer, but I will urge future prospective customers to go somewhere whose employees DO demonstrate respect, kindness, helpfulness and even gratitude for choosing to spend money and time in their business. On the day I went, THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT THAT PLACE. Which is too bad, because I was looking forward to telling friends about it and coming back until my daughter has aged out of it completely. read more
