Staff was nice, but lacked haste. Often times, I had to reach out for updates after being told by their team that I'd be reached out to that day (or days prior). The wrong parts were ordered, further delaying progress. It took 3 weeks after receiving a quote for them to start working on the car. It remained at their shop for another ~5-6 weeks - and the work still was not completed/ fully drive-able. Body work performed looks good, but all work internal to the car either a) did not get completed or b) had to be redone by my mechanics (who I ultimately had the car sent to to get it right). They tried to outsource electrical tasks to another shop, but it was punted back 2 weeks later with no progress. For example, I was charged for a new battery by Paintmasters that had to be replaced weeks later. My mechanic shop suspects the electrical issues I experienced with the car (which did not exist prior to leaving it with Paintmasters) may have been created due to lack of careful handling of battery and other electrical components within the car while welding and other grounding-adjacent tasks were being performed. Who knows (which in itself, is a problem)? I don't like giving out bad ratings, but the extra work that I needed performed downstream to my car after getting it back from them was not cool at all - and significantly decreased the value of what I paid for. I brought my car here after I was rear-ended to get an independent estimate for repairs. I offered to pay them; I was up front that I wanted their estimate as leverage to negotiate with insurance, and didn't think I would make the repairs. They not only did the estimate for free, they did a thorough job of documenting the damage and advising me on my options. The owner and employee with whom I dealt were solicitous, transparent, and friendly. I'll be back. read more

After a car backed into my car coming out of her parking space, I took my car to Paintmaster's for repair because they were one of the shops that the insurance company partnered with. Lester was quick and professional in getting me an estimate, as well as handling for Enterprise to come pick me up when I brought the care in for repairs. The repairs went a little over the estimated time frame, but Lester was good about letting me know what step the car was in. Great customer service. Just be aware that since this is a smaller business, the shop may not open exactly at 8:00am, but be patient and give them time. read more

These guys are home grown and I mean home grown. An independent business owned by 2 brothers out of Montgomery County. They not only care for your car, but care for you!! There work is incredible and they make it so painless for the customer, this is coming from one that is very skeptical and does his research before putting his hand in his wallet!! Exceptional service. I have had them repair my car twice, most recently after a hit-and-run accident led to my car being totaled. They went above and beyond to fix the damage and were able to stay within my limited budget. My car runs great again and looks like new. They are extremely kind and attentive to detail. This is a great place to have your car worked on someone hit me and drove off but a witness got their license plate.....Paintmaster dealt with Allstate trying to get me the best for my truck..... Allstate wanted it just fix the fender but Paintmaster said to replace it and Allstate finally gave in and replaced the fender ......my truck looks like new!!!! When my friend hit my car she asked me if I minded taking it here since she knew the owner. I didn't mind since I had heard good things from others about this shop and let this shop do the work. My car looked great when it was picked up and they even took care of some other minor dents that they said they could handle since it wasn't a huge deal for them to do. I brought my car in to repair the bumper after someone backed into me in a parking lot. Not only were Paintmasters the lowest estimate quote I received, but I had my car back faster than the other places quoted. They were also very friendly, and went out of their way to make sure I had a ride home after dropping my car off (I had planned on taking the bus, as there are lots of lines within walking distance of the shop). I have my car back now and it looks great. I hope I do not need any more car repairs in the near future, but I would definitely take it back to them for any future repairs. read more

I couldn't be more complimentary about the quality of the work and the staff at this body shop. This is the only shop we've used over the last 20+ years and we couldn't be happier....especially since having to go to a body shop isn't a trip anyone wants to make. This is our first visit to the Diamond Ave location but since this shop is owned and operated by the same owners who ran the Southlawn location we knew everything would be done right. The experienced I had with Paint Master is the worst of any paint shop I ever had. The work quality was very poor. Lots of paint overruns and paint missing in some spots. Also there were spots that I requested to be repainted not related to the work been done and there were not done. Will not recommended this shop to anyone. No commitment to Customer Satisfaction. I asked them to install a spoiler in my cat again not related to the work been done and they told will take care of it. Two month later after finally my car been completed they; I was told they could not install the spoiler because they did not had the knowledge / or personnel to do a simple spoiler installation. It has taken more than 3 month for them to correct the paint correction in my car. Terrible experience. read more

Someone had hit my car at my work parking lot, hit and run accident, and unable to get a police report. Lester and everyone at the shop were extremely helpful in dealing with the damage. They were extremely nice . I hope I don't have another accident, but if I did, I would definitely go there for any repairs. read more

Spent MY time getting an estimate and later calling to discuss rates and interested in scheduling an appointment. The Manager seemed to have no interest in my business and said he would get back to me after we discussed costs. I called twice (he never responded on either call!) therefore, I have NO interest in ever doing business with this company! Amazing how they would take company time and my time to give me an estimate then have little or no interest in doing business. No doubt they don't need the business!!! read more
