The one bartender is really great. They all are but one (K-manager) did not want to make a drink I typically get. I've been here a few times and they remembered my order which is nice. I usually would get a margarita, as soon as I sat down at the bar, she said no margaritas today. Not even a hello etc. They make them from scratch so I don't know what the problem was.... I understand it was busy, and I can wait, but that just was a bit offsetting and disappointing. There has been two times she's forgot about my drink, she apologized but I just don't feel too welcome at times. The food is great, I only came for the summer for an internship and this is where I liked to come, but had started to try other places considering. A day or two after the other bartender, I forgot her name she was sweet, made the margarita and said there should have been no reason it wasn't made for me that day. I still enjoyed going there, the margaritas are great the food is as well. I will go back, but I'd appreciate a little more less of being ignored, just because I'm by myself or not a male. Regardless I'll be back sometime for the food and it is a nice cute place. And shout out to the bartender and other staff. read more

Stopped in today on Father's Day for lunch as we're staying in town for the night. Not many options on a weekend in Los Alamos, so options were limited. We made the wrong choice. There were 10 tables occupied around 1:00 and all but 3 tables were eating their food, but we still waited 25 minutes to order after we got our drinks. I had to ask the young man hosting to find our appetizer and waitress after 20 minutes. 3 of us had fries with our entrees and they were soggy, greasy, and so salty that none of us ate them. Our son who loves cheeseburgers said his tasted funny, our daughters chicken nuggets tasted like the fish my wife ordered, and my Rueben was dry and chewy because the meat was reheated on a flattop instead of steamed like it should be. No one in the kitchen seems to have a clue how things should be done in a restaurant. I could go on, but what's the point. The only thing I'll remember about this place was bad food and the $100 we threw in the garbage. If I had the chance to have a redo, I'd go down the street and eat at Sonic, and Sonic sucks. read more

Our daughter is interning at LANL for the summer. So as good parents, we accompanied her for the move. We arrived in Los Alamos on Saturday afternoon. We wanted a sit down dinner. Most places in town were closed for the weekend, or were closed for dinner, or were take out. This seemed to be our only option. The margaritas were STRONG. I'm used to a sugar rum on a fruity margarita, but they used salt here. My salad was really good. I asked for the bacon protein option. It ended up being bacon bits. For those couple dollars extra I was expecting actual bacon slices. My Tres Leches cake was really dry and lacked flavor. Bland. Printable also ordered a carrot cake - which was also dry and bland. The cream cheese frosting was a huge disappointment (isnt the only reason to order carrot cake the cream cheese frosting?) Overall it was a decent place and I'm guessing, given the options, one of the better places in Los Alamos. I was in Los Alamos to do some volunteer work, and had to stop by this place for some football. FYI, I think this is the only place in Los Alamos that shows the games. Anyways, the beer was good, and the truffle fries were awesome. Say hello to Jackie the bartender who just moved to Los Alamos. The pub itself lacks in any sort of ambiance. In fact, it was really cold in there, and I had to keep my jacket on the whole time. Regardless, if you want some good beer and watch the game, this is the place to be. read more

I have been meaning to come here for a long time. Finally had the chance the day after Christmas. I went with the Reuben Burger with the side of Broccoli Piñon Salad. Both tasted really good. The service was great, had the soda refills coming on time. We even shared some laughs. I would like to come back for a few pints and try the chicken wings I saw at some other tables. My family and I chose the Pajarito Brewpub because we had limited options visiting Los Alamos on a Sunday, and we were pleasantly surprised. My dad said that reuben sandwich was one of the best he's had, the grilled chicken on my salad was delicious. Finally, when talking to our server about wanting to try a local beer, she insisted on giving samples of their offerings so I could decide. Service was incredibly quick once we ordered. Passing through Los Alamos on my birthday, I decided to get a frajita salad at Pajarito Brewpub with guacamole and grilled chicken that turned out to be one of the freshest and most delicious salad I have had for a very very long time and to accompany the salad, I got an order of pretzel bites, absolutely delicious! The reason I am righting a review is because the salad was so fresh, crisp and tasty that is unusually available in restaurants ( that is my experience) It was a take out order and when I picked up my order I was greeted by a lovely lady that made sure my order was to my liking! This is a great place to grab a casual dinner. Service was good and so was the food, which arrived very quickly. Plenty of beer options to choose from. I had steak frites and the brussel sprout appetizer, which I was particularly impressed with. The flavor was great and the sprouts were perfectly fried. There were less full sprouts and more leaves. Day trip to Los Alamos. Looked up local breweries. I had my dog, so I ended up eating outside. The view was pretty thumbs down. The patio has leftover parts from the building and chicken wire as their barrier. It's just not very appealing, but it was convenient they allowed dogs outside. The table was extremely dusty, so I asked for a server to clean this at their convenience. There are plenty of selections for beer. I had the Kolsch, and it was one of the better ones I have tasted. We split a budget, and I would highly recommend this as it is a large serving. Their meat is delicious. I also ordered the pretzel bites and I would highly recommend getting them. I have ordered wings from this place for 3 years.... And they r hit and miss! They have a new menu... I have not ordered wings the last 4 times I have gone here because they have no meat n them and simply horrible! So I thought I would try them once again... this skin was so thick and I barely got one piece of chicken from each!! I'm done! I stopped in for supper and since I was by myself I sat at the bar. Diana was the bartender and she made me feel right at home. I ordered the Fajita Chicken Salad and it was one of these best salads I've ever had. Fresh, the chicken tasted like it had just come off the grill and dressing was perfect. This place does a lot of work to make it work. Service was good even though they were clearly short staffed. Ice at the bar for your beer, which is a mice touch. This brewpub is located right on Trinity Dr across the street from Smith's so it's super easy to find. They're currently doing limited seating for indoor and outdoor dining but are also offering takeout and online ordering. The beer selection here is amazing with something for everyone. The food menu is pretty standard for a brewpub and offers burgers, sandwiches, mac & cheese, nachos and wings. I had the truffle mac & cheese with bacon added and tried some of the blue cheese burger and truffle fries. Both items were solid, but I did feel like the mac n cheese lacked some truffle flavor compared to the fries, but that could be because of how cheesy it was. We had an awesome server who checked on us the perfect amount of times and I'm sure we'll be back soon. read more

This place just can't be consistent. Got the stuffed green chile burger. It was served absolutely raw. They took it back to the kitchen to recook. It took 30 minutes and when it came back it was a charcoal briquette. Not returning anytime soon and that is in a town with few options. read more

Stopped here after visiting Bandelier National Monument. Shared an order of a dozen wings with my 4 year old (buffalo & BBQ) with a side of truffle fires. They were delicious! Gluten free with crispy skin and just the right amount of sauce! I would come back just for them. My husband had the philly cheese sandwich which he said was "just all right". He had a side of the house made chip which he did not like. Sent back the first order because they were hard and chewy. The second order that came out was a bit better but still in need of help. It was a crowded Saturday lunch, and the wait for food was not bad. The fried pickles were bountiful and good with ranch dipping sauce. The hamburger was cooked just right with a mountain of fries. Basic hamburger $14, $1 for Swiss cheese, $3 for 2 slices of bacon, $2 for fries brings the cost of burger and fries up to $20! The beef stroganoff should be a beefy gravy with sour cream, not melted butter with sautéed mushrooms and beef with a dollop is sour cream in top served over wide noodles. It was all greasy butter covered, no gravy. The beer selection was good. The Nitro milk stout was good as always and the Tractor cider was flavorful. The ice tea has an option of $1 more for a dash of raspberry purée, which you find out after the fact. Strange that they charge you extra for a flavored ice tea. The extra charge for every little thing is unusual for a restaurant, and not have it rolled out into the prices. The service was adequate. Why do they have only mustard, but not ketchup in the table with the other condiments, so that you have to ask for it? Not your usual way things are at restaurants, but maybe this is usual for Los Alamos? This is in response to Patrick. We paid a similar price for a burger and fries at the Lodge at Pebble Beach, where I would expect to pay more for the location and prestige. Not expected these prices in Los Alamos. read more

If I could give them a zero I would, myself and my family were sat pretty quickly, that was about it we just sat there after about 15 minutes and seeing other arriving and being sat they were immediately greeted and served water while my family just sat there with our menus. Now you may wonder if maybe the server's didn't notice us but trust me several of the staff that walked by looked in our direction and not one bothered to stop and ask if we needed any assistance. After another family was sat and of course they were greeted immediately and were brought out water and drinks my family and I just got up and left. I did tell the hostess and a server, they should have just Informed us that they weren't going to serve me and my family and we could have saved ourselves some time. I don't know if this was just BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE or just straight some racism of some kind. Which is wild because I'm not the darkest of Mexicans I'm pretty light skinned but you can definitely tell I'm Mexican and that goes for my family as well. But stay away from this place.
