The entire visit took less than 30 minutes, if that, but chatted up with Dr. Peter Pak about life and everything else in between (highly personable + sincere!). The equipment for a family practice is amazing. They actually have equipment I haven't seen before, such as the Optos Daytona. Preventative care for the win! Dr. Peter Pak knew what he was doing and was extremely patient and ensured he checked everything he needed. They are entirely COVID-friendly as well, so it's a great place to go and get your family checked-out, but ensure you call in advance to reserve a spot. Doctor Peter PAK was very thorough. He gave me multiple options and prescriptions for all the different options. Like if I want to use bifocal what reading power to use. If I don't want bifocal, what to use? Plus he gave prescription for both contacts and eye glasses. read more

I'm so disappointed in the service I received here. I've been coming here for years and I needed an extra box of contacts because I went through mine too quickly. I had to fight to get them to approve one additional box. The tech I spoke to was completely unhelpful. Customer service is definitely not their strongpoint. Till Dr Irene Fuentes, I have had great experience at this place every time. She is incredibly rude, has zero manners, no empathy and not specifically good at her job. Dr Linda Pak and Dr Peter Pak are amazing though. I went for an eye exam with Dr Fuentes and was apprehensive because I was worried that I might not have blinked sufficiently and might have messed up the eye exam. Those machines tire your eyes when you look at them for minutes at end. And I was worried I might have not chosen the correct lens option due to tired eyes. I politely asked her if that might be the case, insisting that Its my fault that I did not blink enough. She took offense and scolded me for not having confidence in her work. Imagine actually getting scolded as an adult!! I should have gotten reassurance, instead was quasi-abused verbally. All the other doctors at this place are super nice ! I had hoped to be a returning patient as the doctor seemed to previously provide reasonable care. Following my call to schedule the appointment, I received an acknowledgment email that explained mandatory masking. This is concerning since Fauci, Birx and the CDC have all been exposed for lying about the efficacy of masks. This makes me rethink how knowledgeable this doctor truly is in regards to healthcare. I will be finding a different doctor for my eye care needs. This is not a political stance. My review is based on concern that despite the exposure of this lie, some doctors STILL enforce these insane measures that harm our health rather than improve or protect it. Im pretty picky about doctors. I've been a patient of Pak Family since 2014. Since having moved to San Antonio, I make the trip annually to see them for my eye exams and other eyecare needs. YES, it's that worth it! (Also with multiple locations, it's easy for me to be seen when and where I'd like based on the time frame I'm in the area) Dr. Peter Pak and Dr. Linda Pak are knowledgeable, thorough, and will answer any questions you have without the feeling of being a burden or rushed. If I'm unable to see either one of them, their associate doctors are great as well! You can tell their high standards of treatment and quality patient care, are reflected through them and I know I'm in the best hands either way. I send all friends and family (or anyone for that matter) to their practice and their reports are the exact same! You cant help but absolutely love the level of care. *Side note: There is not an optical department (purchase of lenses/frames) since that is available inside Costco. While their process has changed for COVID, they still offer some of the best customer service I've had from a practitioner and the medical care is superb. I just got my eye exam with Dr. Park. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. As I had couple of eye exam in the past as Im wearing contacts I know when someone is rushing through the exam or try to convince me to get things that I don't necessarily need. Dr Park was very knowledgeable and advised me well on which contacts would be best with my stigmatism and dry eye problem! Very easy to schedule an appointment and they also open on the weekends. I had a very good experience with Dr Pak. I am not sure why I was surprised, maybe because they are next door to Costco here in Cedar Park and I was thinking "discount eye care". Although prices were great, quality was outstanding. I am a tough case since my astigmatism is quite severe and it took several iterations of contacts to get it right. I was examined by the optometrist within 15 minutes of my arrival. I got my eyes looked at yesterday and was very impressed by the staff and Dr. Pak. They were able to fit me in the day I called and were running on schedule when I showed up - how convenient! The staff is very polite and work fast to process your paperwork. Dr. Pak is very thorough and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She cared about educating me about my different options for getting new prescription lenses, explaining the pros and cons of different types of contact brands, and giving recommendations of products for my dry eyes. I also got my eyes dilated here for the first time and had a very positive experience. If you don't want to get your eyes dilated but want the option for Dr. Pak to screen for eye pathology, you can pay a little more for them to take a photo of your retina using their fancy machine - it's really neat! I don't have eye insurance and felt like I got very good value for what I paid for at this clinic. I definitely recommend you see Dr. Pak if you don't currently have an optometrist! She's very competent and will take great care of you. read more

After going here for over 6 years, I am throwing in the towel and taking my business elsewhere. I had an appointment scheduled weeks ago. They cancelled my appointment out of no where. I re-scheduled two weeks later and wrote the date and time down. They never sent me any email confirmation so I went off of my calendar. I go to the appointment and opened the door. I put my hand up to ask a question and she slams the door in my face (locking it) and tells me to call. So I am standing there calling and looking in then they put me on hold. Then they tell me my appointment is the next day. Then she has the audacity to offer to send the confirmation on the phone as im standing there. I consider the staff at the front desk Unprofessional, and unfriendly . Especially having a door slammed in my face multiple times . Im done after 6 years of being a loyal customer . I had to phone them to ask them to file my insurance claim although they had taken the information when I checked in, and I was asked to pay in full for the services which was also a first. Linda was my Dr., with their state-of-the art equipment, Linda found a narrowing of the fluid channel (my words not hers) the indication was possible glaucoma development if I did not have the narrowing corrected, which I did.
