Dr. Eugenio is very engaging and takes plenty of time to explain every part of the process as he checks your vision. He always remembers not only me (and I only see him once a year), but where I work and where the out-of-town grand kids live. We can pick up on a conversation that started the prior year as if no time had passed at all. He explains your eye health and what you may need coming up in the future, and what payment/insurance options are available for whenever I may need those services. His office is located in the Cedar Park Target building, but he does not sell eyeglasses so there is never any pressure about buying new frames or trying to upgrade you to more expensive lens processes or designer frames. So I thought I had an appointment set but when I walked in for my appt the receptionist says they had to cancel my "non-confirmed" appointment because there was a long wait list or some nonsense. They said they had called us multiple times to confirm my appt when I received confirmation on the website as well as another confirmation via email. So I'm just confused how my confirmed appt was cancelled bc it was a non confirmed appt. I have been going there for 3 years - never saw the same doctor twice but was ok with it - I scheduled my appointment a year ago to make sure it was on a saturday and didn't have to worry about it - I get an email that says to confirm appointment but it won't let me - I get 3 emails like this and finally send a message that it won't let me confirm the 23rd. I get a call from the office that says "technically" I don't have an appointment for that day that they are all taken up - I booked it a year ago to make sure I had the appointment and then am told "it's a computer glitch we are trying to fix." They don't have another Saturday open for some time. Why did I book it in advance???? No one ever called me about it????? Why are they booking appointments in advance and then not honoring them. I will find another eye doctor - don't have time to play games. read more
