I may have left a review before but I felt compelled to share the exceptional experience I had at Lifetime Vision Care. I have been wearing glasses for almost 2 decades and have lived in 5 different states and 3 different countries, and I have bought glasses in each place. I have never had such excellent customer service! I went in to purchase glasses at the end of the year to use my remaining FSA. I believe Jen is the one who helped me. Jen spent a lot of time helping me find the right fit for my face and took the time to listen to what styles I liked. We trialed and errored several pairs of glasses. She never got frustrated or tired even though I did not like most glasses and may have been overly critical about what looked good. She patiently assisted me and I may have tried on glasses from every display. She also had a good balance of helping and stepping aside to allow me time to explore on my own, so I did not feel bothered or forgotten about. Many service providers cannot get the balance of helping versus allowing alone time right. She gave honest feedback when I asked for it. Typically I will get minimal assistance and I am on my own or employees simply tell me what they think looks good without really trying to understand my style and preferences or they try to sell me the glasses with the highest price point. Jen was the complete opposite. I always hate buying glasses because I never know what looks the best and often employees steer me in the wrong direction and I end up hating the glasses later. This is the first time I had the opposite experience and felt heard and understood but also helped in the most altruistic manner. I also want to point on since I work from home and had no meeting that day, I was dressed down and extremely casual. Anyone could have judged me based on how I looked or made assumptions, which is a common experience for me, but Jen treated me like a valued customer despite how I looked. There was no discrimination or prejudgement of how much I could or could not spend. It was top notch customer service and going into my top 5 experiences. I am the happiest I have ever been with my purchases and love the new glasses and how they look on me. It is a big confidence boost to feel you look better with the glasses because you purchased the perfect pair. Jen also went the extra mile and worked within my budget and I was able to get two pairs of glasses and ensured I spent all the FSA so that it was not lost this year. Dr. Khanh is great. Several years ago I was with eye Insurance that she was in-network with and it was close by, so I went there. She and the staff were all very nice. Later (in 2017) as Insurance Companies do my new employer did not have them in-network, so sadly I had to leave and choose a different eye Doctor. But, when I retired from the company that I worked for I needed to buy different Insurance and I never forgot how I was treated by her and her office, so in 2025 I came back to the eye Doctor that I never wanted to change to begin with. 2 days ago I had an eye issue and called around 4:30-4:45 pm. Her desk clerk (also very nice) got me an appointment for the next morning. You CAN NOT go wrong choosing Dr "K" as your optometrist . She does a great, thorough job and is the nicest person with great conversation and she treats customers as her friend and she is very understanding. read more

I went here on July 30, the doctor and staff were really nice, when I went to pick out my lenses for my sunglasses they said it would take about two weeks for me to receive my prescriptions. A week and a half later I was able to pick them up, but they were the wrong shade so they sent in for a new pair to be remade. About three weeks later, I called to inquire about how long it would take to receive my new pair they said unfortunately the lab had messed up (on my new ones) and so they were remaking them again. Another two weeks I waited and I got a call saying my glasses had arrived.... But they were not up to standard because the lenses were a discolored green color not The polarized ones I had ordered.. another three weeks went by and I had called them last week Inquiring about how much longer it would take since it's been well over a month and a half and I would prefer going to another optical office if it was going to take much longer. The staff was super apologetic and assured me that it would only take about another week. Finally last Friday they called me saying that they received my glasses and that they were ready for pick up. I went there yesterday September 23rd to exchange the original pair that they had given me with the wrong shade of lenses, and to pick up my new pair only to discover that there were major gaps between the lenses and the frames weren't fitted correctly. I was super bummed because after all this time and driving 30 minutes to pick them up after they had called me saying they were ready, they weren't even inspected properly to be able to be picked up. I just asked for a refund because at this point it had been almost 2 months of back-and-forth to get the proper lenses. They said that this never happens but unfortunately it happened to me three times just to not even receive the correct pair, I ended up going to Visionworks instead. The only reason this place is getting two stars is because their staff was really nice. They had offered me a discount if I wanted to bring another pair of frames and get prescriptions in them, but unfortunately, after my experience of back-and-forth, I won't even want to use their services. I hope that you have a better experience than I did, fortunately they seem really nice, but their lab couldn't get it together and they should really be inspecting the glasses before calling their customers to pick them up to make sure that they're 1.) the correct shade of lenses 2.) there are no gaps between the frames. read more

My fiance loves going to lifetime and I needed an exam so figured I'd give them a shot. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and I love that the office was very personalized as it felt less sterile and more comfortable ​most doctors offices. Lois was my tech and helped run me through the basic tests before the vision test and was very considerate throughouy. Dr Jennifer ran the vision tests and was great. She took a minute to get to know me before we started and was very thorough in explaining the results and making sure I understood everything. I highly recommend the team at Lifetime! read more

I found Lifetime Vision Care when looking for a Costas Del Mar dealer to have my already existing prescription filled in my already existing sunglasses. My experience from start to finish was superior! Jennifer K. was very patient with me and took the time to make sure I thoroughly understood everything about the process and what I can expect. She was so very friendly and looked out for my best interest. I will definitely be back for more glasses, and even plan to change my ophthalmologist! Came in here to get a glasses script. The visit was pretty fast paced. I felt like I needed to clarify what was cov'd and not cov'd. Everything except the eye dilation. I wonder if I hadn't asked would they have told me it wasn't covered. They told me they could dilate my eyes and that would be free or if they did the test they normally do It wouldn't be cov'd and would be $35 extra . Dilate away. not paying extra $35 for that. Then came the search for frames. Pricy. and eventhough my eyes are now dilated and I had issues seeing before they were dilated, now I am very impaired. They were super pushy (the staff) for me to find a pair of frames to buy. I found one pair I kinda liked but the last pair I bought my husband hated ...so I wanted him to approve before buying since he looks at me more that I look at myself. I just wanted an opinion from someone I know! Pushy pushy pushy. but i digress... and I got my script. and i was out. Had I ordered the lenses and frames there $200+tax.that was WITH INSURANCE Ordered from Costco. Bulova frames, lightweight lenses with scratch and uv protection $130 even without insurance!!!! read more

I had the absolute best experience today at Lifetime Vision Care with Aimee helping my mom and me pick out glasses and filling my mom's prescriptions for her glasses. Aimee spent so much time helping my mom make sure she had the best possible glasses for her and made sure my mom left feeling her best. We loved Aimee so much in fact that after we left, my mom and I actually made a U-turn to go back to the store so she could pick out a pair of sunglasses, too! I wasn't getting anything for myself today, but she even helped me when I asked her opinions about what kind of glasses I should look for in the future. We never felt rushed and by the time we left we felt so at home there and like we sincerely mattered to Aimee and weren't just another pair of nameless customers to her. I bought a pair of glasses about 3 months ago and I know I have been kind of hard on them. A screw popped out and I called them to see what they could do to help. First they empathized with me and assured me that that if I came in it would be taken care of withing 15 minutes. Second they showed me what customer service was all about. I went to Lifetime Vision Care for my appointment and to get contacts around the same time as my husband went to a different place. My appointments and contacts were much cheaper than his turned out to be. We ended up returning his contacts so that we could order from Lifetime instead. When I went to go order with them, they helped me figure out my insurance, and make the order. Meanwhile they catered to my 2-year-old by giving her water and a toy from the toy box. Michael: in 20 minutes flat we picked out 6 glasses, tried em all on, narrowed down to one, got all my specs, had them shipped to my house and paid for, it was so easy and perfect. And then he even tightened up my current frames and cleaned em! I love this place. My family has been going to Lifetime Vision for a long time, even before Dr. Khahn took over. She is great. The staff is friendly. Dr. Bergeron set up a great practice and they have kept up his standards. (Although I miss Dr. Bergeron humming Christmas songs year-round) We try to order our glasses in-house because of the service they offer all the time. If there is a minor issue with our glasses, they don't hesitate to fix it for us if they can. Recently they have picked up a Ray Ban line. I look forward to ordering my next round of spectacles from them soon. read more

I have been coming here for the last 5 years. This last year saw a change in ownership. I wasn't sure I'd continue, but an eye infection forced me to return and I'm glad I did! The new doctor, Dr. K is friendly and competent. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating. I love that they have an after-hours lockbox. I started wearing glasses about 30 years ago, and I never found an optometrist that I wanted to stick with. I always went to whomever was next to the glasses place. The level of care I received showed that they didn't care about me, and I didn't care about them. That all changed 8 years ago. I decided that not caring about who was looking out for my vision (pun intended) wasn't the right thing to do. I was driving through downtown Round Rock and saw Lifetime Vision Care, looked up the reviews, and decided to give them a try. I've been a loyal patient ever since. Last year Dr. Bergeron sold his practice to Dr. Jennifer Khanh and Dr. Christopher Eugenio, and yesterday was my first time to get my eyes checked since the switch. I'm happy to report that the quality care hasn't changed, and I liked having my eyes checked by Dr. Khanh. When she introduced herself she said, "call me Jennifer", and dove into the exam. I always felt comfortable with Dr. Bergeron (although the whistling of Christmas music was a bit weird to me), and I already know I like Jennifer being my Optometrist. I have been seeing Dr. Khanh Eugenio for a few years now and wouldn't see anyone else, so of course I had to follow her to Lifetime! She is always so professional and so courteous, taking her time to ensure my eye check-ups are thorough. She works so that I receive the care that I need, as I have pretty bad eyesight with astigmatism to top that off. Lifetime has a great selection of frames and also offer contact lenses. Their staff is so friendly, welcoming & courteous. They pretty much run according to schedule, so I never have to wait long. I highly recommend them! I was so lucky to find Dr Jennifer Khanh when she was practicing on Parmer, and when I found out she had moved, I was relieved to find she'd opened her own place in Round Rock! She is the nicest doctor of any kind I've ever had (my husband hates doctors, but he likes her!). Dr Khanh is also a glaucoma specialist. I'm only 42, and wasn't thinking about glaucoma at all when I started seeing her. She found a drop that works great for me, and is careful to watch all my tests each visit to see if my symptoms are stable or not. Good piece of mind. The office is spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended if you're near Round Rock. read more

I've gone through a lot of optometrists/eye doctors and this place is the best. Dr. Bergeron not only is a great optometrist, but he truly cares about the health of your eyes, especially for those of us who suffer from dry eye. His staff is very friendly and skilled as well. A couple personal anecdotes to illustrate how awesome they are: 1. About a year ago I needed new frames. I had no idea what I wanted, but Mitch sat down with me and brought probably 50 pairs for me to try on. He would not let me walk away with anything short of perfect. It took forever to find something I liked and the place was a mess as a result, but he finally brought me some that we both agreed were perfect, and to this day I get compliments constantly. 2. Yesterday I called shortly before their closing time to request emergency contact lenses that I could pick up ASAP (basically asking to wipe out their contact trial lenses since they probably don't store large supplies on site). Dr. Bergeron himself answered and said they actually get asked that all the time, and he simply asked how many did I need. I was placed on hold for just a second and someone else picked up and said I could come pick them up as soon as I wanted! Everyone at Lifetime Vision Source goes above and beyond to ensure that their patients are more than satisfied. I travel 20 miles from Austin for this place and you should too! read more

Woohooo!! I can honestly say that Dr. B and his staff are the only people from a doctor's office that are very personable, genuine, polite, and helpful. They don't make you feel awkward, rude to you, or just come across fake. At the Lifetime Vision Source is all around excellent customer service! Since I moved almost 4 years ago, I have changed doctors quite a bit due to poor customer service (PCP, Dentist, Optometrist, etc you name it!). Some places, the doctors are good, but the staff is not. So, if you can past the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the staff, you are good to go because the doctor is good. NOT!!! To me, the whole office image starts from the front desk staff- the customer service. And Lifetime Vision Source has ALL of it! Trust me, I was very very skeptical about all of the good reviews and the service when I walked in to the place. I was really really wrong!!! I ADMIT it, and I am very glad that I was wrong! (YES, and I did just say that!!) Dr. B and his staff were very professional and knowledgable in what they are doing. Dr. B educated me about my eyes without making me feel stupid and was really friendly. I was fully comfortable and satisfied with their service. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Khahn! I was very apprehensive when Dr. Bergeron sold his practice because our whole family had been going to him for years and I liked and trusted him. I've had several eye surgeries and glaucoma runs in my family so I need to make sure I go to someone who really knows what they're doing. I thought for sure we would change eye doctors and I dreaded finding someone new. My husband and daughters and I were immediately enamored with Dr. Khahn--not only is she warm and kind she really knows her stuff and is an amazing eye doctor! Everyone in the office is always so friendly and helpful and they absolutely bend over backwards to help in any way they can. Recently some of our contacts took a while to get to us and Tammy tracked them and could see that they were hung up at the post office. I have been to many optometrists, but Dr. K, as she prefers to be called, has been by far the most professional, knowledgeable, and friendly optometrist I've been to! When you walk in, you feel as if you're walking to Dr. Khanh's home with all her family photos hanging. It gives it a very warm and inviting feeling. Lois, the optician, is so bubbly and informative as well. She took the time to explain what she would be doing to check my eyes and gave very good directions on how to work all the machines. I also enjoyed that they take the image of your entire eye, rather than dilating them, so that was a major plus for me. I go in for my exam and Dr. K taught me so much about my eyes. She took her time explaining the images they took, how each part or nerve is working, and told me if she had concerns (which thank goodness I didn't). Other optometrists never took the time to explain everything to me and usually would just give a medical reason. Dr. K actually explained why my eyes were this way and what signs she is looking out for and explained how I can be a candidate for laser eye surgery. After the exam, I had a difficult time picking out glasses and her manager, Mitch, was so helpful. He was very honest (read: humorously blunt), showed me a great technique to determine if I really liked the frames (he made me walk into the lobby from the hall and see if the frames were a distraction rather than flattering), and ended up picking out some great frames for me! I am the type of person that will travel for great service and people, so Lifetime Vision Care definitely has another loyal patient! Highly recommend! read more

I first went to see Dr. B almost two years ago. My eyesight has always been poor so I was ready for a real eye doctor. Dr. B takes a funny approach but he and his staff are serious about taking care of your eyes. Conveniently located in the shop is a full-service eyeglass section with styles for men, women and kids. And staff who are great at finding the pair that looks the best on you. They work with insurance company rates to help us get the best deal too. We don't wear contacts but they fit those too. read more

I have been a patient here for over 20 years, except for a minor one year excursion while I didn't have VSP insurance. That one time I visited another doctor, I found the experience to be painful and difficult. At lifetime, their procedures are painless and gentle. I love that they have the yearly retinal scan that allows them to really monitor the changes in my eyes. Dr. Jennifer is so down to earth, friendly and caring. So it pained me to write this review because everyone that works here is fantastic. The front desk ladies greet you with a warm smile and are super kind. Dr. Khanh is really sweet, and was very enjoyable to be around. However, 3-stars seems gracious for my experience. The loss of accountability is what threw me off. I had my original frames to be fitted with new lenses with an estimated 7-10 business days. A week goes by and I give them a call. No one knows where my frames are and they look into the situation further. In week #2, I'm told my frames should arrive sometime within the next few days. Never did. Week #3, they say the lab sent them, but it somehow got lost. I was told they ordered a new frame and it should take NO more than 2-3 days. Now we're in week #4, and I expect my new frames should come in. Take in mind I suffered a moderate concussion in week #2, so I was not very happy about being stuck with contacts. Exactly a month later, I call, and my old frames, not the new frame, appear out of nowhere. So I've waited a month, no new frame, only a small $45 refund, and no accountability of the situation. I could tell the lady helping me out was very sorry and she was trying to gift me some microfiber clothes and a glasses case out of kindness. It takes a lot to make me mad, and I'm a really peaceful person. I understand things like this happen, and I'm in no way trying to blame them, but after a month, it was close to unacceptable. If you take ownership of your work, you accept your mistakes, fix them and endeavor to prevent future mishaps. Sorry for the rant, but I had to. Update: After posting this review, they went out of their way to talk with the lab and get me a new frame, with an additional refund. They went out of their way to please an unsatisfied customer and that proves their outstanding character. These guys are awesome. They truly do care about the clients and it shows. read more

Wow! I have been to a lot of optometrists, and this is the best office I've been to! I appreciated that I was able to fill out and submit my past history forms online, and that they were able to get me into their office quickly for a vision exam. Dr. Khanh was very helpful and informative, and I love the retinal scanning, which can keep track of my eye health from year to year, and I don't have to get my eyes dilated. The frame specialist was also very helpful and patient as I looked at different models and designs for my new pair of glasses. Thank you for everything! read more

I haven't seen the same eye doctor twice in a long time. I work in Round Rock and decided to try Lifetime Vision Source. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. I'm super indecisive when it comes to picking frames (okay, when it comes to a lot of things), but Mitch was extremely helpful and patient in helping me pick a pair. After I got my glasses, and wore them for a few days, I realized I had made the wrong choice. I was afraid exchanging them wouldn't be easy, and I emailed asking their return policy. It was simple: if you don't like them, bring them back. I went in, again met with a very patient Mitch, and got the perfect pair with no hassle. I will definitely go back. read more
