Not thrilled but gave them another chance and will go somewhere else from now on. I sent a small package from Delray to Boca and instead of weighing it and then putting one label with stamp amount, the guy put 7 stamps on which I found odd. He seemed new and didn't know what he was doing! The recipient never received the item, and 2 weeks later it came back in mail marked more postage was owed!! I did not have receipt so couldn't go back and prove it! I went back figuring another person would do a better job, and he didn't ! He tried to charge me too much and I had to tell him to give me priority mail charge. Saved $10!! Now I look at my receipt and he didn't give me the separate tracking number. Pak it Tight, Pack it right! I have been coming to this post office ever since I found out about it. I do have one less than a mile from my home, but I rather drive all the way to Delray and visit Pak it Tight. The staff is very friendly and they are always willing to help you safe money by giving you options for your packages. Plus sometimes they will even pack it for you. On busy seasons the line might be near the door but they are fast, efficient that you don't feel you are waiting. Sometimes to get a great service we need to go a little farther and support local places. read more

Fast, friendly, one stop shop. Went there to get my picture taken to renew my passport. Instead, I was able to get the renewal form, special envelope, stamp and picture in less than 10 minutes. This is not really a US post office though it comes up on a Google search as being a USPS location. It is actually a stationary store with a USPS concession stand. The gentlemen that was working when I went there was very polite and greeted me promptly upon my arrival. I went there to buy money orders as you can get from any USPS facility but not here. I am sure that they can facilitate all of your shipping needs through the USPS but it is not a Stand alone USPS post office. I was referred to Publix supermarket as a place where I could purchase money orders. I happened to have walked about 1.5 miles to get there so you can understand how I would have been disappointed that I was not able to conclude my business there. read more

I am very disappointed with this office. I paid for priority 1 service and the package got to the destination almost 2 weeks later. I spoke to the manager twice during this time and I was told that the post office gets lazy and doesn't scan sometimes. When the package was received there was no priority 1 information on the package, it appeared to be sent regular mail. I spoke with the manager and he said he'd get back to me. I haven't heard back from him. Beware of this office! It appears that I'm not the only one who has had issues with Pak It Tight. read more

I can't say enough about this place I was on vacation in Florida and came across two lamps that I absolutely had to have. I didn't think it would be possible to ship them all the way to California. They were absolutely fantastic! The lamps came with absolutely no damage whatsoever. Everybody that helped me was very professional and very friendly as well. This isn't your typical mailboxes Etc. James, the owner, needs to be aware of how his son and employees are running the business. Horrible!!!! I've been going to this store for several years. I've noticed that on several occasions the employees are rude. During the past week I've been to this store several times waiting for them to open. An employee who goes by the name "Ron" drives a mustang with a very loud exhaust. Every time he pulls up to the business at 9 or 10am, he continues to rev his engine which scares people waiting to go inside the business. Several people have complained about the way he drives the car but he laughs. The customer spoke to the owners son, who refused to give his name or his dads name who apparently owns the business. His son refused service and kicked the customer out of the business for complaining on "Ron". The owners son said "my dad owns this store and you need to leave!" Its was embarrassing and improper for several of the customers who witnessed it. Then the owners son was giving the customer the middle finger as the customer was leaving while he was sitting outside on the bench. Very unprofessional and the owner needs to be aware of how his store is being managed by his son and the inappropriateness of the employees!!! Don't go to this store!!! I wouldn't do business with this company. They shipped a price of art that was damaged in shipping. Filed a UPS claim and ups said it wasn't packed correctly and the shipper was responsible. I've contacted the shipper many times and the keep saying Jim will take care of it. Jim hasn't contacted me or taken care of anything. I get the impression they just want your money and after that they don't care. Avoid this company. read more

BEWARE. I came here today and was looking for a bubble mailer to mail my old license plates back to the DMV. As I approached the counter I was greeted by a snotty male in his early 20's who said 'Yeah? What do you want?' Before I could even respond the owner SLAMMED a bubble mailer and sharpie on the counter. I mean he was beyond aggressive. Another employee who looked like she was in high school was standing behind the counter and her mouth just flew open in shock of what just happened. Another customer shook her head and walked away. I sent a Priority Mail Flat Rate box with this company. The package never arrived at the location. I called them to get some assistance. They asked for the tracking number. I told them all I have is a receipt, is it on there. They said no, we give everyone a tracking number on a sticker. I told him I did not get that. I specifically remember that the person before me did get a sticker. I remember thinking to myself, I guess I don't get a sticker. Must be a different type of shipping. The guy who said he was the owner called me liar and said I MUST have gotten the sticker. He told me nothing he could do to help. He was rude, lacked any level of customer service. Geez, take course in being a better person. So now I will have to fight with the USPS to see if I can figure out what happened, and report their practices to USPS. I am out $100 dollars in merchandise and $15.05 shipping charge. Way to go Pak It Tight. read more

BEWARE!!! I paid Pak It Tight to pack , insure and ship an antique statue. The statue arrived totally destroyed. I filed an insurance claim of $2500. with UPS, because Pak It Tight was the shipper the insurance check was sent to them. Mr Giannuzzi kept the insurance funds. I am out $2500. + $390. shipping fee. I have been going here for 3 years, every since I moved. It is close and convenient but clearly I am so frustrated with the on going lack of service I will never ever go back. They are strictly a 3rd party provider, they are not the USPS. They will pack and ship but if there is ever a problem they can not help you. Last year I shipped an item with insurance but they could not help me with the claim when damage occurred, I had to go the REAL POST OFFICE. The other day I had my husband ship 3 boxes, 2 of them were detailed wrong on the receipt, 1 item was a passport (NOT) 1 item was for notary services (NOT) and the 3rd item was $45.75 for an overnight package. It took 6 days to get from FL to CO, when I went there for a refund they told me I had to go to the REAL POST OFFICE. They are so arrogant they actually put out a tip box, can you believe it! Never going there again, I would rather work with the REAL USPS or UPS or FED X that can provide all services, they are a bad imposter. read more

Paid for express overnight shipping, the tracking number says that usps never picked up or scanned package..... called this store to get details to see if they have proof of the official usps picking up the package. They said no and they aren't responsible. Took ZERO responsibility, wouldn't let me speak, told me they were going to "educate me" on how usps works and then told me if I would like to do anything else "contact the newspaper about how upset I am" and then hung up on me! Maybe they should be "educated" on how to run a successful business and speak to members of a small community. I am still in shock.
