I'm certain the location hurts their business as it has other failed restaurants that have occupied the same space in the past. But if you go to the trouble of finding it, you'll be happy you did. There are a few "Mexican" restaurants in this area of town, but this is a "Tex-Mex" restaurant, which I prefer. I won't go into describing each individual item on the menu, I'll just say the food is solid Tex-Mex. I lived in Houston and San Antonio for a total of 10 years, so I know what Tex-Mex is supposed to taste like. Chapala could definitely hold their own in South Texas.
