    Birthday cake ice cream
    Izabella S.

Went at 4 and there was hardly anybody there. We tried the birthday cake and horchata ice cream and it was very creamy and well worth the price for the decent sized cup. Staff was kind and they speak both English and Spanish if needed. They have all kinds of treats, snacks, and food! Will be coming back to try some meal items.

This is my family's favorite ice cream shop in town. They have tons of ice cream flavors and it's all so good. Creamy and flavorful. They have all kinds of desserts and food! We typically just get ice cream, but the Elotes are fire, all the aguas frescas, their tacos are good, the best mangoeada! I've just recently gone inside their new location and I love it!! It's big and lots of seating and tables and super colorful! We love this place, you have to try it.

Well I went in for a Asada Burrito and when I got home it was actually a lettuce Burrito. The horchata was phenomenal. I was looking forward to trying out some menu items and was very disappointed. Not at all happy with what I received. Maybe other menu items are great, not sure if I want to give them a try after this. . The service and atmosphere were great!

We stopped in after a soccer game for a quick bite. This place is popping. There's so many things to pick from: tacos, sandwiches, flautas, smoothies, juices, ice cream etc My husband got the Milanesa sandwich - steak. And we got a smoothie + juice. I would come back again to try something else on the menu. He loved his sandwich and the juice + smoothie was a great refreshment!

Very delicious. Their flautas never miss and are my go to. They usually comes with more dressing but I usually get them plain. They make sure to meet your requirements and are very helpful as much as their are busy. Please give them a chance, no only the food but the desserts are also delicious !

I came here for the sole purpose of trying their Mangonada, and I'm glad I tried this place out. I came in and was greeted by the person behind the counter. She was so sweet and helpful and let me know that I was picking a delicious choice. The drink was amazing. The mango combined nicely with the chamoy sauce and chill powder, which gave the perfect balance of sweet and tart. This was a perfect way to beat the Kansas heat. I would definitely recommend stopping here and will be returning very soon.

One of the few best no fancy mangonada I've had so far. Fruit sorbet with fruit chucks, tamarind sauce and chamoy. You get to choose mango, pineapple, strawberry, lime or watermelon as sorbet flavors. My cashier never gave me a choice but glad he got mango for me so I'm happy. They didn't go cheap on the tamarind sauce and chamoy like most places. I got the Tacos which comes in three and you can mix the protein. Al Pastor is my favorite and then the carne asada and then the grill chicken. The tacos supposed to come with grill jalapeno but they only gave me grill onion and lime and one dipping sauce. I enjoyed everything.

This is my favorite Tropicana in the area!! Craving mangoneada or elotes? This is your place. I loved Tropicana way back in Wichita, so after moving up here, I just had to find another one. I tried the other locations, but none came up to the taste and service that Olathe have! They make everything from scratch-- ice-creams, churros, tortas, juices, etc. Communication can be tough at times, depending on which workers you get. Just point to the menu and they should understand. I always get the classic mangoneada special and elotes so it's not too hard to order. Service is always great, but the taste is even better. They never skim out on me like other places (especially KU Med location), and the flavors are always right. Prices can be a little high when comparing to other dessert spots nearby, but it's worth it once a month. I haven't try their actual dishes yet but I'm planning to in the future! 5/5 would recommend!

Great little place. We stopped in after a Google search for churros. It was a needed ingredient for a recipe. Anyway this place looks really good the churros were amazing. Can't wait to come back and get some food. This is a potential hidden treasure. We were there on a early Sunday morning and they were just preparing and prepping for the day but everything looked great, clean, fresh, and smelled amazing.

Looking for something that'll make you sweat and cool you off at the same time? Try their amazing mangonadas - a delightful combination of mango ice cream with fresh mango chunks on the bottom and sweet and spicy tamarind chili sauce on the sides and top of the cup! I would've liked more mango chunks and chili sprinkle on the top to give it a little more kick, but overall something I'll be stopping here for more this summer.

Pina en la playa - it's all kinds of fruit in a pineapple with Chamoy and tajin! Very refreshing!

I think this place is a franchise but I've always known them for mangonadas which are hella good. Everything is good no matter what you order. You can go in to order or call ahead. They have many desserts to choose from and lots of Mexican food options. They are always busy no matter the time or day. But they work efficiently to help you out! I really like them for my elotes and dessert cravings! I really like their fruit with Chamoy and tajin. Great snack! I highly recommend going to this location! I've heard mixed reviews from their other location nearby so I think I'll continue going here for my mangonadas and other desserts.

Love this place!! The food and ice cream are delicious. The pistachio ice cream is my favorite and probably the best pistachio ice cream around town. The tropi burrito and quesadilla are delicious! You can pick what kind of meat you want in it. The elote in a cup is a must if you love elote. The only complaint I have is the wait. If you are ordering food expect a wait, but it is worth the waits. On my second trip here I had the Pastor tacos. They are delicious. It is a little on the sweeter side (pineapple) but it is just the way I like it. It is a good combination of sweet, sour, and spicy During COVID-19: You have do have to call-in ahead of time. They were nice enough to call me back to let me know my order is ready. Expect to call 20-30 minutes prior to ordering as they get pretty busy.

I get one of two things- the steak fajitas, which are good but not incredibly memorable- or the divine chicken cream cheese enchilada. I haven't been able to find it's like anywhere.
