Is it just me or is no one going to mention the giant excavator play area with sand and hand trucks for the kids? It takes up most of the store and is easily bigger than the back counter area. Seemed a little out of place, but who am I to judge, i'm more mentioning it as it almost gave me pause. Wanting an after dinner treat I walked the few miles here and sitting in a strip mall I was expecting more cafe vibes rather than chuck e cheese. Granted there weren't any kids here, the rest of the decor was pretty appropriate to a boba cafe. Menu was large, clear. Prices were affordable (aside from the disproportionately high tax rate). Service was friendly and quick. Serving sizes were large, weren't overloaded with ice and foams. I was hoping to get offerings on sweetness levels as Boba places are notoriously sweet or even caffeine offering levels. I was hoping for the hokaido sugar milk tea, but went with the milk tea with the flan and boba which was a nice change of getting just boba added. This place is super cute and the drink I ordered (the I am Panda frappe, pictured) was so yummy! It was difficult to pick what to order since so much of the menu looks amazing. Despite being metal, the chairs were still comfortable enough to sit in for a full hour and a half while I chatted with my friend. This shop also appeared to have a selection of books, possibly a free library type situation, though there wasn't any signage near the books so it was unclear. What a fun afternoon treat! *Just a heads up, they'll be closed from 1/31/23 until 3/8/23 to update their menu.* If you haven't had boba before, there are TONS of flavors and combinations. All of which are partnered with a bunch of little gummy balls at the bottom of your drink that themselves in various flavors. They even have some that are juice filled and literally POP in your mouth! So fun. My only reason for not giving a 5-star was just average service. 10/10, this place was so good. Lots of options, include lactose free ones. The store itself is so cute, and their little logo is a bao bao (bun/dumpling). Tried their taro at 70% sweet (hint, you really only need 50%!) and added some boba. It came with flan. Super smooth, flavorful, sweet, and milky. I drank that thing so fast. I've tried about 60ish boba spots (California, Vegas, Hawaii) since June 2022. Basically I'm addicted. Great that they brew the tea on the spot. Love when boba shops go for a quality product. It's also great that they offer almond & coconut milk but I personally prefer oat milk with boba. We ordered 2 Ari goddess (1 with coconut milk & 1 with house creamer) and a jasmine almond milk tea. My go-to order is a jasmine oat milk tea. But I love quality jasmine green tea in general. The jasmine almond milk tea here was unfortunately bitter and could've had a nicer jasmine taste/aroma. Possibly the tea was brewed at too high a temp therefore burning the leaves causing it to be bitter? The ari goddess were alright. I personally didn't think the brown sugar syrup had a good caramelish flavor that other places typically have with brown sugar boba. The boba itself was alright. Boba was cooked through, nice size but it could've had a better flavor as it was sweet but also kind of bland. Service was okay, friendly. Except the person taking our order didn't know what I meant when I asked. "Is the jasmine green tea just brewed tea or is there flavoring added?". They didn't understand what I was asking and I had to try to clarify 3 times. For the area, this could be pretty good. No, jasmine green tea is not bitter by itself. Get some quality jasmine green like TWG and brew at the correct temp and steep at the correct time. I've had jasmine oat milk tea countless times and with almond sometimes as well....I know what it is and what it should be like with non-dairy milk. The quality of the tea should be able to stand on its own without extra sweeteners, powdered creamer and/or dairy milk. Me not enjoying the drink had nothing to do with the fact that it contained almond milk. 2. I never said that the ari goddess was described as having caramel as an ingredient. Just the same as when wine sommeliers describe a specific wine with notes of fresh cut grass...that doesn't mean it was actually made with grass. My personal opinion was that the brown or black sugar syrup didn't have a nice caramel-like flavor that most good brown sugar bobas have. And then to sound defensive and triggered as a business owner by telling a paying customer who decided to spend their money at your establishment "u should learn more before write out ur limited knowlege!" is not only interesting but also an unprofessional response. Not everyone has the same tastebuds/palette, not everyone will have the exact same opinion for everything such as just because French Laundry has 3 Michelin stars - some will think it's the best meal of their lives and some will think the food is overrated. You don't have to take any or all opinions personally. It could be seen as constructive criticism and/or it could be taken as "ah well can't please everyone let's move on with life" instead of basically calling a paying customer a liar with no knowledge. read more

Let's be honest, there is not very much boba in KC at all - but Ari Delights is probably the best in KC I've been able to find so far. Admittedly, I don't know if they are called BaoBao or Ari Delights - their cups say BaoBao but google maps label it as Ari Delights. Either way, it's a decent place. I ordered the milk tea w/ boba, 50% sweet. The milk tea was quite good, you can still taste the tea and it's not too milky, and the sweetness level is pretty accurate. Went here recently and really enjoyed it! The décor is very inviting and cute. But they also have some old school coffee/espresso machines as decorative pieces that really look cool! They even have two small arcade games to play inside. The menu has a great selection of cold, hot, and frozen drinks - and you're able to pick what sugar level you want! Went here before our movie date night to get some boba as it was fairly close by to the movie theater we were going to. First time here but it was definitely a treat. The staff was friendly and it's also Vietnamese owned. The inside is very inviting, bright, and filled with a lot of fun decor. They also have a couple of old school arcade games. One was the ninja turtles game and the other one was the Simpsons. We had quite a bit of time to kill and ending up finishing both games lol. Compared to many other boba places around town this one was pretty cheap at only 5 dollars and you get a pretty large cup. The menu has a lot of flavors and unique options. It was hard to pick as many of them looked really good. They also offer sweetness and ice level adjustment. I went with one thousand eyes which had dragon fruit oolong tea, chia seeds and coconut milk. I usually will add a topping but chose to order this one as is. It's pretty good as is but I'll definitely add a topping next time just for a little extra sweetness. Will definitely come back again next time we're in the area. read more

I've been to almost every boba place in the KC area and Ari Delights will always come out on top. It's a super cute place and everyone who works there is wonderful and kind. Their prices are also a lot more reasonable compared to most boba shops in the area. Their milk tea is delicious and their blended drinks are so refreshing. I've tried everything on the menu and my favorites are: 1. Mint To Be -- a super tasty matcha milk tea with refreshing mint flavor. It's great with brown sugar boba. 2. Ari Godness -- a classic brown sugar boba milk (it doesn't have tea, so no caffeine) with delicious flan and boba. I love the textures of both toppings. 3. Peach On Da Beach -- amazingly rich and flavorful peach tea with peach chunks. So good on a hot day. 4. Frozen Sunrise -- refreshing sweet and tangy smoothie that goes really well with fruity popping boba. 5. I'm Panda Frappe -- incredible drink blended with oreo that is great for a chocolate craving. Brown sugar boba is good in this too, but not necessary. Honorable mentions are the Oh My Taro, Hokkaido milk tea, and Deep Blue Sea!! Seriously the best boba place around. Ari Delights was the closest boba place that was open after Thanksgiving. There were two employees working. They had a bunch of orders and it took less than 10 minutes for our drinks. The drinks are priced inexpensive starting at 4.99. Lots of boba places are a little more expensive. There's 8 tables of seating. They also have 2 video games you can play while waiting. We ordered the Ari Godness & Island Breeze. You can customize sweetness, ice, and toppings. Overall, the drinks were good. The Island Breeze was a bit tart for my liking even though I ordered 100% sweetness. The Ari Godness was delish. Definitely would come back and try more flavors. read more

I've never been a massive fan of the classic iced tea (flavored or not) and that's exactly what I thought (my naiveté!) I would find here before I even entered this cute little place with beautiful ambience. It was a revelation when I had the first sip of their drink, the love potion. It had poppings, some jelly, beautifully amalgamated flavors and refreshing tea. Their teas have an abundance of flavors my two favorites being the Oolong and Japanese rice green tea. Ari Delights has now been my go to place for their cold teas with toppings and slushies. They do it right! Ordering via their website is super easy- select your drink, add toppings and checkout. Simple! They have milk teas, boba, flan, cheesecake etc. They also have  poppings- don't forget to add these in your drink. They are small flavored balls in different flavors ofcourse and who doesn't like to pop poppings while having a cool drink? They are a cool addition to any drink and my personal favorite is the green apple popping. Their drinks are sealed and hence anti spill and I couldn't be happier about this. No more flimsy lids! Ari Delights is my personal all-time favorite boba tea place in Overland Park, KS!! The workers are super friendly and good at remembering my face/name as I frequently come here for the drink - Peach on Da Beach. It's Oolong Peach Tea with peach chunks and I like to add strawberry or mango hearts with 50% sweetness level since the toppings are already sweet to me. I've also tried the Sunset Kiss, Love Potion with the Passion fruit flavor instead of guava flavor. Both super good as well. You can't go wrong on any drink, unless you customize it badly. Highly recommend trying a drink as is the first time and then customize it AFTER to your taste if you like it less sweet, cold, warm, etc. The decor here is super cute and aesthetics, good for photo ops with friends and the drinks have beautiful presentation as a bonus. They recently renovated and added the bao (steamed bun) cartoon character signs and two free retro arcade games to play while you wait - so much fun. I love their Hokkaido milk tea with sea salt cheese foam! Forget Kung Fu Tea and their constantly burnt black tea. Ari Delights is delicious and on par with Fat Bee as the frontrunners of Overland Park's boba tea scene. My friend ordered the Oh My Taro and he really liked it. Prices are similar to Fat Bee's and a little more expensive than Kung Fu Tea's. The interior of the store is spacious, well-decorated and clean. Ari Delights is a great place to study or catch up with friends. Other reviewers have commented on the slow service. Delicious! I happened to run into a photo of thiers on instagram. I was surprised that I hadn't heard of it. Its located right by Hawaiian Bros around the corner. Nice clean decor and friendly staff. We explained that it was our first time. She went through thier most popular items. Explained that you can adjust the level of sweetness and ice. They offer slushies, tea and milk tea. You can also customize items by adding different toppings or flavors. My sister got the ari goddess and I got the tropic like its hot slush. Both were great! Full of flavor and a good size for the price. I also got a taro milk tea to go for my husband with no ice so it wouldn't get watered down. Love ari delights but I have noticed that prices are a bit higher than other boba shops in the area (86 cents extra for boba) and the main issue I have is how long it takes to make a drink. There seems to be only one person, two very occasionally, working so it always takes awhile to make drinks even when you're the only customer in the store. Just dont expect this place to be a fast stop if you're wanting a drink pretty fast. read more

With a decent amount of bubble tea spots popping up around KC especially in Johnson County, it's important to differentiate yourself. This place actually has carved a nice niche for itself. Their line of specialty drinks are very unique. I've had both the Rice & Nice and Thai Tea. They didn't blow me away but they were good enough taste to be competitive at least. The flavors were pretty mild but I have a feeling the other drinks which I haven't tried yet are probably better. They definitely have a nice image that's for sure. Service was very nice as well Biggest downside I'd have to give this place is price. If you are getting a specialty drink with at least one topping, you are going to be spending at least $6 with tax. Honestly, $6 is the ceiling for me including tax so this place has to be nearby to justify me going here again. However, I like how they try to differentiate themselves with their options. They also have MATCHA BUBBLES. Highly recommend them. Don't think other spots have them. read more
